Stopped by Uncle Tony's because of the high ratings and it did not disappoint! The burger was fresh and flavorful, the fries were crispy, and they even hooked me up with condiments and fresh lettuce on the side. Definitely worth the hype--I'll be back!

#31. Crispy Chicken Sandwich with fries cut fries

I had a crispy chicken sandwich with cheese and grilled onions and it was SO GOOD! I just moved to the area and this place will be a regular go to! The staff was also so sweet and accommodating!

Small size burger for what you pay.

I finally saw Tony's open today (on my way to another burger place) and turned around to check it out. Very nice, clean and friendly. I ordered a 1/4 lb cheesburger / well done / loaded and just had tap water. She pointed to all the fixens and offered me options instead of the Fries - so I took the side salad. The $13.50 burger came out - it did not look like a 1/4 lb - but I put all the fixens on, sat down and cut it in half - looking at a lot of red meat - maybe cooked medium. I mentioned this to her and waited awhile - she was runing around - so I ate the food around the edges where it was cooked through - she never came back - so I left - for good - and never going back. I tipped when I paid up front - so my bill was $17.47. Going back to the other burger place, bigger, better burgers with all the fixens - with a drink and a ton of fries for about $12.00 out the door.

This their award winning signature burger. Well cooked, but still tender.

Overall, Uncle Tony's was a great meal. It was quiet, and I was a little scared to venture in as there was nobody there and they had many positive reviews. It was an inexpensive man show that night, he greeted us, sat us down, gave us our drinks, took our orders and then went to cook them. Through conversation, he shared he was the original cook here many moons ago. My daughter shared that she had been to some of their food trucks, but was not impressed with them. Here though, everything was great. The burgers were perfectly cooked, real potato fries, and the loaded fries were tasty!! It was a positive experience. The place is not fancy, the food is great, service was very good! I could not get a picture of my daughter's burger because she started eating it before I had a chance, but it was a perfect medium rare for her!! I would go again when I have a hankering for a burger. My daughter said she preferred this place over the food truck version.

Extremely casual restaurant with a welcoming vibe. Tyler helped me all night and was eager to answer all questions. After debating between the all beef burger and the rattlesnake burger (beef + pork + jalapeños), I opted for the rattlesnake. Basically, because the giant trophy on the bar was won because of that burger. I liked all of the side options: seasoned fries, tots, salads, etc. I went with the tots and they were great! No amazing extra spices or anything, but they were fried perfectly. The burger is kind of tough to judge because it has to be cooked well done due to the addition of the pork. The cook was on point, the burger was juicy, and the char was there. All good stuff! I hesitate to give a 5 because most of their beer was gone (kegs tapped or the beer in the fridge wasn't cold). Also, I didn't try the angus beef burger. Will do that soon and update this review. Apologies for the out of focus picture.

I drove by today on the way to an event, I've been craving a burger and been on the hunt for the last year for bomb burgers. I saw the sign and saved it in my mental notes. After the event hubby wanted a burger too. And I'm like I saw this place near by let's go check it out. Had zero expectations because we had no idea what we were walking into. We were greeted with a warm welcome, and hospitality oozing from this sweet man, our server and chef. We order fried pickles, so fresh and made to order I was ready to burn my mouth and not wait for them to cool down. Our order came and wow y'all, stop looking around and come here for fresh and mouth watering burgers, with a whole bar of fresh veggies to add onto your burger. it's worth the drive, I'll drive from Willis anyway to come back. They have milkshakes, a full bar, beer, and frozen Margarita Machine too.

I like the feel of this place, relaxing, great music and terrific service. I opted for the Texas Philly Cheesesteak and it was exactly what I thought it would be. Not to spicy as to take away from the flavor of the sandwich. Bread was good with just the right amount of crispy crust. Hand cut fries are a perfect touch to the sandwich.

The burgers are awesome, chicken tacos are tasty, also like the fried pickles & wings. Kinda pricey, but it's not your typical burger.

Slowest burger ever! We waited over 45 minutes for our food, and 10$ for a 1/3 patty is kinda pricey.

I had never seen a chicken smash burger before and it was so good. The edges were crispy, the flavor was amazing, and it was cooked perfectly. The spicy burger was great too, and we added a bacon patty which made it even better. Total game changer. The Bam Fries were loaded and super satisfying. Definitely a must order. We also got two milkshakes and they were really good. Everything tasted fresh and you can tell they make the food to order. Service was fast, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was spotless which I always appreciate. It was pretty quiet when we got there. This place is easily one of the best burger spots around. We will definitely be back.

The menu is very concise and consists of burger, spicy burger, chicken sandwich, vegan burger, plus sides. They do have a kids menu and a small selection of milkshakes as well. We both ordered smashburgers with a single patty--they charge extra to add lettuce, tomato and pickles. Raw onion is not an option on the menu. The burgers come with caramelized onions, cheese, and bamsauce. We also got an order of fries and the cookies and cream milkshake. Everything was flavorful overall, and the fries were very hot. I added lettuce and pickles, so my burger had a nice balance of meaty cheesiness along with some freshness. The food did take longer than I expected for it to come out--so don't expect fast food speed. The milkshake was so good, I had a hard time not consuming it right away, but I was also pretty hungry. It's a pretty bare bones place from the menu to the service to the overall ambiance. For anyone who prefers to keep their distance from others, this is a dream come true. For me, that slightly detracted so I'd probably get it to-go next time.

Our waitress was Zoe and she set the bar high! As soon as we were seated Zoe hurried to our table to take our drink orders and since it was our first time, she gave us a little history about the restaurant and walked us through the menu and her favorites, she even offered us a tour of the place. I was truly amazed by the attention she gave us. The food came out extra hot and fresh I ordered the Double Cut Pork Chop 18oz, my hubby had the New York Strip 14oz and my daughter had Sliders from the kid's menu. The Pork Chop was so juicy, tender and full of flavor, I just loved the smokey flavor. The steak was made to his liking and was also juicy a thick cut and the mashed potatoes paired with these entrees are some of the best I have had. The whiskey cake was moist and you could definitely taste the whiskey in it, yum! Ambiance, this place was neat it almost felt like an experience. Zoe mentioned that the place had original hardwood floors since the place opened and was the only establishment near the railroad during the 1900s. The restaurant has multiple floors and plenty of seating. There is always plenty of parking, even if you have to walk a block or two, but they do have paid parking around the corner. We obviously enjoyed this restaurant so much we have returned multiple times, but nobody has topped Zoe's customer service.

If you pay attention to the daily specials, you can do really well in terms of value. Sunday's pork chop dinner for $19 is regularly priced at $42, for example. (Please see my photo of the daily specials board.) That said, this former bordello does have some downsides, which I need to mention: First, it is too loud -- nothing sound-absorbing in the place, and the jazz music recording was turned up the day we were there. This caused communication problems with the waiter, who misheard me, and I really couldn't hear what he was saying. This is not an intimate spot for deep conversations. Second, parking is a challenge. No parking lot. There are some spaces across the street along the railroad tracks, but not enough. I parked on the other side of the tracks and hiked over the rails, but that is a little dangerous. There are some $ 5-a-day parking lots up the road. Is the pork chop better than Perry's? I liked the mashed potatoes, and the meat was properly prepared for sure, but the seasoning was not exactly right for me -- I think they added cinnamon, though my wife thinks it was allspice, and a hint of sugar. An East Texas sort of flavor--I prefer Perry's. But a close second for sure. Allec, I can't find your card, so I know I am spelling your name wrong, but you were a great waiter, and so I am giving this shack a 5.
