Why 5 stars? Because I'm so glad we have one of these close by now. --- --- --- One trend that's incredibly consistent with a new restaurant opening is that whenever they provide an estimated date to open, you should probably tack on an additional 6 months to that if you want to be realistic. Bamburger was the complete opposite of this. Despite my wife and I being in every local foodie group on the internet, where stories often break about new restaurant openings far in advance, this one totally escaped us. The very first time it even entered our radar that this was happening was a post on Facebook saying, "now open!" And not only was this some random restaurant opening, but we LOVE Bamburger, so this was an amazing surprise. It turns out, the reason they were able to do this so stealthy, is because it only took them 3 weeks to take over the space from the former tenant (a baked potato spot), and turn it into a Bamburger. Major kudos for what I can only assume is a Guiness World Record. In fairness, there's basically not one thing that was changed in the front of the house from the old restaurant. I talked to the guy who I assume is the owner and he said they had to do stuff in the kitchen, but that's still really amazing efficiency. And as it turns out, the smash burgers here are just as good as the original location on 2920. As are the tallow fries. Just like the original location, the menu is really basic. You just order everything on an iPad and they bring it out to you when it's ready. It's basically: smash burger (single, double or triple), spicy smash burger, smashed chicken sandwich or the vegan burger. My go to is a double with the added bacon patty, to go along with the tallow fries (loaded fries and sweet potato fries are also an option). I also added on a strawberry watermelon drink instead of a soda, which was awesome. It does come with free refills too. To-date, Bamburger has only been topped by one place in all of Greater Houston, IMO, for best smash burger. Hotline Burger is still my #1, but it's also an hour away, so it looks like me and Bamburger will be getting to know each other really well in the near and distant future when I'm craving a smash. read more

I happened to be in the area and noticed Bam Burger has a new location near Lake Conroe. I was told they had just opened and had only been operating for about two days, so I ended up being one of their first customers while they were still getting everything set up. My go-to spot is still their FM 2920 location in Spring, but the burgers here were still just as good. Looking forward to coming back once they're fully up and running. read more

Little locally owned burger stand with a very focused menu... tallow fried burgers, and a cute backstory about aliens. Cooked to order so it takes a minute, I wouldn't call it fast food. I did the bamburger double combo meal. The owner wanted to try just as it comes which is plain with cheese and a little bit of sauteed onions,. The double is a very solid Burger cooked old school, and I agree it's the way to go. Patty cooked from scratch very old school. I liked it. the fries were good. read more

Aliens from Bamboon were apparently obsessed with creating the perfect burger so they traveled the galaxy and found everything they needed on Earth. After perfecting the legendary bamburger they shared it across the universe uniting species through its deliciousness. Before leaving they left behind the secret recipe, which is now being used at Bamburger here in Texas. Small dining room area but also has a few tables outside. Enjoyed angus beef burgers, fries and milkshakes. Reasonable prices. Make it a combo ! Met the owner. Super nice guy. This is their 3rd location. Wishing them well! read more

Anyone who posted a 5 star review below is either really lucky or lying!! The burger was small and over priced! 4 burgers to choose from, we ordered the same burger so I can't comment on the other 3 but ours were terrible. Toppings were forgotten and just nothing special. $20 for 2 burgers no fries and then they suck!! I don't expect this place to last. Oh and it cost 50. Our first time there, the burgers were very flavorful we like the bam sauce. We also ordered the sweet potato fries is a large helping of fries tasted great all the food came out hot and fresh. This is a pretty nice burger spot with some options you don't see everywhere. It's clear they're going through the trials of being a newer business and still working out some kinks but other than that, it was great. They don't have a huge extensive menu but that allows places to really focus on what they do sell and this place proves that. I loved how they offered sweet potato fries and their burgers seem to be a bit higher quality than the typical spot you'd find around here. The chicken sandwich wasn't very well seasoned but was still cooked well and my group had zero complaints about the burgers and fries. I don't like ordering kiosks at all so that wasn't my favorite but they do have a register you can place your order at. The pictures on the kiosk vs the menu descriptions had some differences so those needed to be updated as well. There was AI "art" on the walls too which is really unnecessary and kind of cheapens any new business. The service was phenomenal and there was one guy running almost everything and was very informative and helpful. They had a huge turnout but got the food out quickly and the restaurant seemed pretty clean. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Went to Bam Burger and left a little underwhelmed honestly. For a double smash burger, fries, and a drink you're looking at $19 which is a lot for what you get. Five Guys is around the same price and personally I think they do it better. The burger was pretty salty and their "Bam Sauce" they make a big deal about is really just ketchup and mayo, nothing you haven't had before. The grilled onions weren't really grilled and the patties were thin with not much of a sear on them, felt like they were cooked on medium heat the whole time. For a smash burger place that's kind of the whole point so it was a little disappointing. I see the 5 stars and maybe others have had better luck than me. The food was delicious the burgers ate fresh ,cooked to order and the tallow fries were good too I got the spicy Bam burger with cheese, jalepenos with the bam sauce and my husband got the one with cheese and grll3d onions with bam sauce. Good service and we are going back read more

Everything except we didn't get the room that was supposed to have been held for us but the manager stepped up put together a space big enough for all of us and then she served all of us, can't remember but my guess was 18 and she did a spectacular job! Came to this location for the first time today. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the buns are really good. I highly recommend the strawberry watermelon juice. My son loved the fries. The staff was kind and helpful, they brought our food to the table and checked on us twice. I like the inside here much more than the Tomball/Spring location. read more

my boyfriend and i went here and we loved it! i got the veggie burger and my boyfriend got the spicy burger, they were both delicious and the guys behind the counter were nice enough to offer us some lemonades instead of sodas from the drink machine since it wasn't working correctly. only thing was it could use some music or a TV to watch, it was pretty quiet in there. but overall a nice experience :) read more

New place, wanted to give it a try. Beef Patties were ok, could use some seasoning though. The extremely small amount of onions and sauce on the burger was disappointing. Only had onion in about 2 bites of the burger and the sauce was maybe a tsp that had soaked into the bun and couldn't really taste it. I was not a fan of the bun either.
