My first impression of her wasn't the best. First of all she looked stressed and not very friendly. But I decided to give her a chance-maybe she was just having a bad day. When I ask how long it's going to take, I was told about 2-3hours. After three hours I returned , she told me she didn't get a chance to start on my dog yet and that she was the only groomer there because they over booked. No apologies and she looked annoyed I even asked her that. At that point I was beyond pissed off, I asked to speak to a manager. When the manager arrived, she went look at the system to see what's going on. Then at the point I said please give my dog back, we will go somewhere else. It's wild to be to make a dog sit there in a crate for over 3 hours because they are too incompetent to let the customers know in advance they over booked and if we want to stay or wait for another day. Then the manager told me I have to pay before they can give me my dog. I said that's fine I will pay for shampoo - not sure why they shampoo my dog and not giving him the haircut after. This is such a dump in such a high end location. I would give them a zero star if I could.

I wanted to wait to write this until such time as we had multiple pets have multiple visits. This…read morereview is primarily for the purposes of grooming but I was appreciative for the friendly greeting I received each time I went in. Our dogs usually see Tara - she puts with our A-hole Maltese (inherited from my mother-in-law), as well as my mom's mixed breed fluff pup. She is awesome - does a great job, friendly and accommodating. I honestly cannot say enough great things about her or the job she does. I do want to mention that ALL the ladies (haven't seen any guys there yet) at the grooming salon are really nice and helpful. They even helped my poor mom to her car (with her dog) when she came in herself but couldn't handle her dog (or find her car...yikes). They were sweet and helped her out and I am EXTREMELY grateful. Groomers have a rough go - they deal with a lot of different people with different expectations and it's hard to meet some of those. But my experiences here have always been great and I highly recommend it.

My poor experience is specifically with the adoption coordinator at Citrus Heights Petsmart,…read moreMichelle Lee. My family and I just lost our dog to cancer and we weren't looking to adopt another pet, but happened by the cat adoptions at Petsmart while shopping for our other dog's food. We fell in love with a 2month old Scottish Fold named Artemis. We saw her once, went home to think about it, and then returned the next day to see she was still there. We inquired with the volunteer there, who told us to text the adoption coordinator, Michelle Lee. Michelle was very short over text, but encouraged us to put in an application. So we did. We still couldn't stop thinking of Artemis the next day, and we were getting more excited about what a good fit she'd be in our home. So we returned to the Petsmart to visit her. We met her foster mother, chatted, and learned more about her. The Foster mother was so lovely. She told us that adopting Artemis out had been "hard because of Michelle" then hushed as if she would get in trouble for saying even that much. Other volunteers also exchanged knowing glances. Nancy then reviewed our application, said there weren't any other suitable candidates, and encouraged us to text Michelle to set up an appointment to adopt Artemis the next day. Nancy also assured us that because our application was in, and that it was the only one, that Artemis would be on hold for us. They pulled her paperwork for us. We had every reason to believe she was on hold for us. We texted Michelle who did not respond for over an hour. So we went home. When she did text me back, she asked us to "go back adopt her." So we started to go back and then she started calling me, frantically, texting for me to answer the phone. I answered for a brief interview, answered her questions seemingly to her satisfaction, and she again, suggested she was fine with us adopting her, but she needed to call the volunteers at Citrus Heights. Ultimately she texted me back and said they would wait for a vet evaluation since she'd been sick recently and then "let me know." At no point did she indicate that we were not approved to adopt Artemis or that she would be going back on her decision for us to adopt her. The next day I sent a text asking how the vet appointment went and was ignored for two days. I sent another text and Michelle told me then that they were still deciding on a family and completely denied that she told me she was ours and to go adopt her. I pushed back and sent screenshots of our conversation and she just maintained that "there is a lot of interest" in Artemis and other volunteers "have no idea" what they're talking about. Two of my partner's decided then to visit the shelter and speak with Francie, the office manager, who I'm told was absolutely wonderful and compassionate. Shoutout to her, for being so lovely and kind. She'd arranged to have my partner's speak to Michelle in person to find out what exactly had happened. When Michelle arrived to the shelter an hour and a half past her designated shift time, she was apparently unable to be accountable and made several excuses for her behavior, including that she was over stressed and grieving a personal loss. She denied making statements she had made over text to me even when confronted with screenshots. Ultimately we learned that Michelle lied to us and had adopted Artemis out to another family. There was nothing that Francie could do to make things right. I do not recommend adopting from this agency at Citrus Heights, while Michelle is the adoptions coordinator. Please go instead directly to the shelter or to one of the other Petsmart/Petco Locations. You will be met with grief, as well as confusing, disorganized, discompassionate, behavior.

Mom's chihuahua Mochi's first grooming salon appointment at this PetSmart was back in the spring…read morewith Hailey B; back again and had a bath & brush session with Pet Stylist Lisa H this time. The day of there were morning cancellations and Lisa did call to see if I wanted to move up my afternoon slot, but I decided to keep the original time. This booking was the Bath & Brush + Summer Special Package PLUS. Originally I had wanted the Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day 3-in-1 Dog Shampoo, but she did have to switch to the itch relief/flea shampoo. Bath, full blow dry, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, paw pad trim, sanitary trim. The Summer Special Package PLUS discounted add-on is a seasonal special including premium Mrs. Meyer's, CHI, HEMPZ, or earthbath shampoo and conditioner, a plush flamingo squeaky toy, a tropical-themed bandana, premium tropical spritz, PLUS teeth brushing, breath freshener, nail grind and a coupon book with $200 in savings. The appointment was at 1:45PM on a Sunday, and the appointment was completed by 4:30PM. Note that a $10 fee may be applied if your pet is not picked up within one hour of quoted completion time. You do have the option of paying the invoice online via afterpay, but I paid in person at pickup. Overall, happy with the services and will definitely book here again in the future.

Based on the booking details online and the fact that we were asked to come earlier I'm not sure why she no longer had time to do what we originally booked? the entire interaction was not a pleasant one. No friendly greeting upon entry, no smile, no initiative to rebook us. Seemed like she didn't want to be there and we definitely didn't want to leave our fur baby with someone who didn't seem like they were in a good mood. Maybe today was an off day because they had only 3 groomers but we had this appointment booked a week in advance.

Petsmart Training with Edna--Basic, Intermediate and advanced…read more This was not the Pet training I expected or even wanted the first couple classes BUT was what I needed for my two puppies. My husband and I signed up for these classes to help with behavioral issues and basic training for separated at birth sisters that got reunited around 8 months of age (German shepherd/great Pyrenees). Stella we had just adopted from shelter a few months prior to starting classes and Skye we had had for 8 months already. Skye and Stella were my husbands first dogs, whereas I have had family pets around forever creating a familiarity with basic training. I came into the class wanting to leave with perfect dogs and everything I didn't like to be "fixed". The wonderful and frustrating part of Edna for me was she was not in a rush. She gained trust with the dogs, learned their personalities and then worked at the problems week by week not in a single session. She was stable and logical and brought up a lot of points about raising a rescue/shelter dog vs raising a dog from young puppyhood. Edna created a very safe environment for Stella to learn to trust humans and love people again, and we are so thankful for her kindness + her true love for animals. Stella's personality went from shelter survival mode to curiosity and loving to learn. I believe having a kind and patient trainer was a highlight that allowed this--I can see how my strict and militant mind was intimidating for Stella to learn things. Edna trained us humans to allow our dogs to be themselves and develop while respecting our boundaries and listening to cues. We are so happy with progress the dogs have made and are very happy that edna was our trainer in group classes :D

Ayana and Sunshine were amazing! The customer service was top tier from start to finish. When I…read morecame to pick Benny up the groomer wasn't there so I spoke with Ayana (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) Failed inspo photo which is what I was afraid of from TikTok compilations of their disappointments from this place with grooming services. The look i wanted (teddy bear cut): * Rounded, plush face. * Legs left fuller and cylindrical ("column legs"). * Body about 1/2 inch long but still fluffy. * Tail left very full and feathery. * Overall soft, plush appearance. What Benny received: * Body is much shorter than a teddy bear cut. * Legs were clipped very close, making them look skinny instead of fluffy. * The face is nice, but it's more of a pet trim than a rounded teddy bear face. * The tail was trimmed down, although they did leave the tip fluffy. * His ears are adorable and they kept them fairly full. When I came to pick my pup up I was so disappointed I won't even lie. Harpo who is dis!? Now I was definitely concerned my dog would act a plum fool since he's a puppy and not used to grooming. So I will definitely give some grace for his behavior and anxiety. With that being said I still hate it lol maybe it will grow on me. The groomer said there was areas which the fur was a bit matted which I will give a bit of grace for but it was more on the under side where his belly is near the joints so why he was shaved so close is a bit ridiculous to be honest. The rationale for his face was a bit more understanding with him being too fussy to touch his face. Still I'm super bummed with his first grooming and I don't think I will get the same groomer if I do. In all honesty if you can't do the cat somewhat similar I would rather you 1. Just say that 2. Get another groomer to do it 3. Reach out to let me know the plan so I don't show up to this strange dog . I mean a heads up. Did I mention I hate it. lol there are also some space the cut just looks ragged. Idk I am not a fan. Sunshine's customer service was definitely top tier but I'm not a fan at the results like at all. Overall customer service of the entire staff from the the groomers to the cashiers 10/10 5 the cut expectation vs reality was definitely a 1Sunshine girly pop -_- from Benny and his mom
