I've seen this place all over the local subreddits with rave comments and a recommendation from a…read moreLatino co worker who was a taqueria la bamba regular and its predecessor grocery store as a regular too. He loves this food truck. So I knew I had to try, especially pupusas which I haven't had in years and my coworkers said these were the best in the area. And it did not disappoint because it was so good! It was $5 per pupusa and there are three styles. I had the mixta/revuelta. I kid you not I haven't had good Latin American food since high school and it knocked me back years. It came with a generous bag of curtido, which is similar to coleslaw except the sauce was lighter and the cabbage was chunkier. The pupusas themselves were large and three made me very full. I could've just ordered two. They also had a pretty large completely filled cup of salsa roja. Service was speedy and they accept credit and debit cards too. The staff are bilingual in English and Spanish. The food truck is in the parking lot of O'Malley's, an Irish themed sports bar. I would love to eat this before or after a night out. There is a tented seating area to eat on site immediately outside or if you are going to the bar you can take your food with you. The bar doesn't serve food, so this is THE FOOD, and it's GREAT food. There is also a website where you can order online and pick it up.

Absolutely delighted to report that the Super Carnitas Burrito, Queso Birria Tacos and Platnos Fritos are still FANTASTIC. Carnitas crispy and smoky; so flavorful. Birria tacos juicy and the dipping sauce is a meaty, juicy flavor bomb. And the plátanos (plantains). Absolutely the best. Even the extras like refritos, sour cream and salsa are special. Service is charming and friendly and quick. I am so, so glad to put this epic place back in our rotation. Gracia Paper Platez!

I'm not a big food truck person (what is this, I have to follow your truck around when I want your…read morefood??), but this was a great experience! I love the concept of Off the Grid because it lets you try out multiple trucks at once and if you're in a big group, there's bound to be something for everyone. I grabbed some tasty banh mi sandwiches from the Street Fusion (Vietnamese) truck, sampled some limpias from the Hula Truck (Filipino), and just when it was starting to feel like I was at an international food fair, polished it off with some good ol' American cupcakes from another truck. We came on an unusually cold May evening, but I could see this being so fun in the summer when it's warmer. Plenty of families with kids were playing in the grass and had picnic blankets laid out. Off the Grid helpfully places lawn chairs out in the parking lot area for people to use, and there was live music playing, which made for a pleasant evening. There's also restrooms you can use at the nearby Crown Plaza Hotel if needed. Can't wait to come back -- I might be a food truck convert!

Get ready to spend a ton of cash here (but it's worth it!)…read more My absolute favorite truck is 3 Brother Kitchen. Get their pork belly burrito! I usually dislike anything that's "fusion" and the burrito part threw me off. BUT, I was persuaded by the pork belly. The Lobstar truck is okay, but the lobster roll is too expensive in my opinion because of the portion size. I think I ate the whole thing in a few bites.. Me so hungry has yummy sliders, but sometimes the meat is a little dry.
