So disappointed with the burger of the month, (turkey) When we ordered we were told it would be 20 minutes because the turkey was frozen. Weird that the burger of the month is not readily available but ok. 30 minutes later after asking waitress to check on it we were told the turkey is not ready and had not been cooked yet. Would we like to order something else? By this time I'm not hungry just disappointed. We are still waiting for the replacement sand which and so far we have been in holding pattern for45 minutes total. Chicken sandwich arrived and was good. Service was ok. My boyfriend and I love coming here to watch foot ball and hangout . Great atmosphere ! Great food and great beer ! Not ever to crowded and not to loud. Awesome new hangout joint and definitely beats the Killarney's pub across the way. Only way it could improve is more beer selections. read more

Amazing service and environment! It's a great place to come and enjoy which sports game you're wanting to immerse yourself in. I had high hopes for this place and wanted it to be good, however the food is not very good at all. I have even given it about 4-5 chances but each time the food kinda sucked. The atmosphere is great and staff is great but if you are looking for somewhere to eat look elsewhere. I really hope they turn it around because the options are limited on this side of town. Terrible customer service from the bartender, pretty sure her name was Holly, the girl with a pissy look on her face. She had zero banter with any customers. I dropped a $150 tab. We got a meatball sub and a chicken sandwich, my favorite part were the fries, they were really fun the way they were cut into a spiral lol. Came here two nights ago with my family for dinner. I ordered the nachos which were stellar, the guacamole tasted like it was freahly made about 5 mins before it was served and being a lover of sweetcorn putting that on the nachos aswell was a perfect touch. The rest of my family ordered burgers they all had a different ones and were all amazing!! The sidewinder fries also amazing. My brother and i have been here three consecutive days now for drinks. We've been here 4 times. Out of the 4 times, one time we had extremely slow service. It took about 15 minutes to order a drink, another 15 to get them and then another 45 to get our food. That was disappointing since we had two small antsy children with us. But I won't dwell on that because it must have been an off night. The other three times we were waited on immediately and had drinks in less than 5 minutes and food within about 15. The owner came by on 2 out of the 4 occasions to say hello and see how we were doing. Really nice staff. The side wider fries are awesome! My husband likes the meatball sliders and I usually get the Cobb salad which is really good. They have a kids menu but it isn't printed. My suggestion is to get paper kids menus and offer crayons for the kids to color. I know it's a sports bar but I notice a lot of families when we go. You could reuse the crayons and put them in a cup so you aren't giving away crayons every time. Just my two cents. The hamburgers are incredible. I like all the TV's and go here to watch games that I want to watch with other people. Great selection of beers. Service is ok, slower than it should be especially when it's not full. the past two times I have come in I had to go order at the bar because I got tired of waiting for someone to come over and take my order. Went this past Sunday to watch football. I got there about 9:45 for the 10 o clock game and it was already starting to fill up. I sent down at one of the tables facing one of the several TVs. The waitress came over right away and was super sweet . She told us what was for breakfast and what they were serving until 11. I had the breakfast panini with horseradish cheese ( sounds weird but was perfect!) added a little tang and it was amazing! Served on sourdough it was perfect. As the day went on the bar filled up quickly I strongly recommend getting there early great as seating is very limited. The food is great awesome atmosphere I will definitely be back!! read more

I came here Sunday May 20th to watch the Knights Playoff game, never did I know going to a bar to watch a professional playoff game would cause such trouble. I asked the bartender (I forget her name), if she can turn on channel 4 for the Hockey game. She said that channel 4 is the golf game and the hockey game won't start till after the golf game, I showed her I can watch it on my phone and that the golf game was channel 2. She insisted I was wrong and that after the golf game the hockey will automatically start. The golf game still had 3 hours left, so I said to my wife, " I don't want to stay here and miss the game, because I know for a fact it's on channel 4 and none of these TVs are on channel 4" before I can even finish the Bartender turns around and at a level just under a yell, states "IF YOU CAN JUST WAIT 1 MORE MINUTE AND BE PATIENT I WILL TURN YOUR DAMN GAME ON" there was maybe 7 people sitting at the bar, so she wasn't busy at all, if she considers that busy maybe she should find another profession. After she told me to be patient she never again paid attention to my wife and I, she would ask everyone else if they wanted another beer or food but never would ask us and instead would ignore us, making us ask for beer 2 or 3 times at an empty bar. Sad, I'm looking for a venue to host 2 draft parties this year for football, but this service is terrible. read more

Went for a late lunch today. Service was super slow -- well, because they had 2 people on the floor of a busy bar & grill. Only one person was waiting on tables, and one behind the bar. After we'd been there a bit, the one behind the bar got out her laptop (taking a break??). The food was decent, albeit very very slow to get to us (and lukewarm). Beer was VERY warm too - not good. Whether they need to turn town their beer frig or get it fixed, please do something! Also, have enough staff so that people don't have to wait for very long periods to get orders taken and get food. They used to be pretty on top of things so I am disappointed in today's experience. I'll try again but this is my second "ehhh" experience here. Great start. Limited menu but was very good! Would like to see more local beers on tap. Black Market and Refuge deserve a spot in your line up. As for service not so good for a Friday afternoon. One waitress working the floor and one bartender makes for some really thirsty customers. We waited 10 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. Place is a great one to watch a game. The waitresses are nice and the beer is cold and reasonably priced. So far, we've had the Caesar flatbread and some chili garlic wings. Both were good. The flatbread was a little too crispy, but great flavor. The bartender said they show UFC fights, so I'll definitely be back for that. read more

I absolutely LOVE Uncle Bob's! Missy is a great bartender and beers are served in an icy cold mug. Uncle Bob is often working and checks on his customers so often I feel like part of the fam!! Been here twice for Chargers games. Food, service and atmosphere is great except when i came to watch the Chargers vs Raider game. Fat @ss Raider fan refused to move to allow me to use the restroom so we exchanged some words. I noticed Bob didn't have security at his place so I chose to take the high road because there wouldn't be anyone there to stop me from this fool getting a beat down. Pretty sad that people cannot just be adults ..the rest of the Raider fans were cool and we had a good time sparring with each other. Been to this spot a handful of times now & have no complaints. They have the typical sport bar type of food & so far it's all been decent. Went there for one of the recent UFC fights & enjoyed the set-up; $10 cover & they try to seat as many as allowed, & the service for being so busy was still consistent. Great example of a bar that service is very different depending on who's working. I've seen some of the good reviews and bad but it's clear that a number of employees could care less about service and take care of off work employees and I've seen owner do the same thing. The only reason I mention that is cause I have seen owner defend establishment trying to pretend they don't have any issues but when I was there owner said hi to a couple regulars talked to a bartender drinking at the bar after the clocked out but never walk around and check on customers. Burgers and fries are good. Good selection of beers. Good local brews available. Bartenders and waitresses are very nice. Good setup to watch games.
