We ordered the crunchy cabbage, marinated cucumber, crispy garlic potatoes, mushroom Tempera, a variety of skewers including the washugyu & shishito and scallop bacon and pumpkin (you can choose fried or grilled, I chose grilled styled) and the champon noodle bowl. The food comes out very fast. The cucumber was alright though I was not a fan of the WakuWaku sauce overly sweet. The cabbage was delicious but lacked flavor. Huge portion though. Then came out the skewers. The pumpkin was cold. I wasn't a fan of the washugyu & shishito one. And the scallop bacon was just eh, didn't really notice the bacon on it. Everything tempera one were my favorite. I loved the potato tempera it was perfectly fried. Esp. with the spicy miso sauce, it was fire, I was dipping everything in it. And the mushroom was even better. Enoki mushroom was delicious. Careful with the chicken karaage it comes out HOT. Massive pieces so good and juicy. Great portion. The noodle bowl is bigger than your head so I advise to only get one if you're sharing portions. I like the flavor of the soup, very soothing. Good collagen boost too! Lots of seafood in it. Perfect soup for a cold rainy day like we experienced. Theres miso cod was good but have had better. Honestly everything was good. I would just not get the cucumber dish and the skewers we ordered next time. They have some also have tatami rooms if you want more of a traditional Japanese style like restaurant. Overall, good experience. I would come back and try the tatami experience just with avoid a few dishes.

We were told it's a $30 service charge for the room and a required 20% tip. It was not busy during that time of day so I don't get the huge service charge and tip. But that's what she wanted, that's what she got. Service- Very pleasant staff. Greeted nicely and has a lot of patience because we very indecisive about food. Food- I honestly thought the menu would be a lot bigger. But it's not. It's not over complicated. Simple but not enough to my liking. Was told that they don't have noodles. Surprised considering that Japanese people have rice and noodles as a staple. Then again, the entire Japanese village has noodles. This place is okay. Maybe once is good enough for us.

Sometimes you can catch them making a fresh one for you, but beware the rice is going to be too hot for your hands to hold. Lots of filling options. It's served fresh as you see many staff members making it on the spot for you; just to show that when you get it, it's actually hot! I don't really have much to say as I was in line for maybe five minutes, placed my order and then waited not too long for my onigiri to be delivered to my hands, pipping hot. If anything, I don't mind it being hot but just used to onigiri being hot. Generally they are cold at convince stores but that's not the case here. I think this is a great place to check out in Japan Village. The best part of all? It's right next door to the convince mart, and many other stalls if you wanted to go on a food sprawl!

It's located close to a lobby with more seating plus there is ample spots outside to eat at if the weather is permitting. If I worked in the complex, then this would definitely be one of my go tos. I wish my office buildings had a spot like this. We came late in the day, so all the daily specials were sold out except for the fried chicken sandwich. Solid sandwich with crispy chicken and plenty of slaw to balance it out. It was served on white bread which was just the right thickness to hold everything together with diminishing the flavor of every bite. We also had a spicy tuna roll and a salmon & avocado roll. Aggressively seasoned rice which I liked. Interesting flavor coming through from the nori used in the rolls. I should have asked what they use. Staff was super friendly. Seemed like there were many regulars. They made a point to say hello and good bye to everyone. Great atmosphere here.

Good thing we ran into someone who directed us to where the front of the building was. I don't come to this area of Brooklyn often, so I wanted to order everything I was interested in. I like how everything is made fresh, and portion size was good for the price. I got take out and it was a long trek home, so I took a bite out of each item at pick-up so that I could give a fair review.: Chicken Katsu Sando ($9.50) - Fried chicken was moist, white milk bread was fluffy, but I wish there was a little more tonkatsu sauce for each bite. Tamago Sando ($9) - This was my favorite item. I enjoyed the creamy chunks and the whole egg sliced in half. Eggs were not over cooked. Great balance and good flavor. White milk bread was fluffy. Tuna Mayo ($3.50) - The cooked tuna and mayo was flavorful and there is a decent amount of filling inside, but I still have my other go to place for onigiris. You have to eat this one quickly because the nori will lose the crunch since it's directly touching the rice. Eel avocado roll ($7) - I enjoyed their BBQ eel sauce, but the portion size of the eel was significantly smaller than that of the other 2 rolls. Spicy Tuna Roll ($7) - Spicy tuna was fresh and flavorful. I preferred this over the salmon avocado roll. Salmon Avocado Roll ($7) - Salmon was fresh and portion was good, but the salmon did lack the slight sweetness I enjoy from high quality raw salmon. The sushi rice for all 2 rolls was nicely made as well. There was not too much vinegar, so it did not mask the natural taste of the fish. Complemented well.

For my bowl, I got the Black Garlic Tonkotsu DX. It consisted of four pieces of Chashu Pork, Bamboo Shoots, Scallions, Bean Sprouts, Cabbages, and Egg. A very simple dish but when executed right it is delicious. This was very flavorful after the first sip, I think it may be a tad salty ( as with much ramens ) but I enjoyed slurping down noodles and enjoying everything else in the bowl. It was a quiet Sunday afternoon for lunch. Decided on a sushi for appetizer and a rice don bowl for meal. Lunch special had any 2 rolls for $8.95 and they have a spicy scallops roll. It turn out to be a California roll with chopped spicy scallops on top. If I knew, I would not have gotten it as I imagine a spicy tuna roll but with scallops. I don't normally get California roll (not basic) because I also don't know what imitatation crab Kani stick product they are using as I have a crustacean allergy. Some Kani stick is purely fish and some have crab extract in it which I can't have. I wish there menu had more details/informations but most sushi places don't list what is in the rolls and expect you to know it or Google it. But for people with allergies (yes, I know, why eat sushi if I have a crustacean allergy but there are other options for me), we would love to know what is in the dish. Ordered: 2 rolls for $8.95: eel avocado & spicy scallop rolls and a Salmon Eel Don. Lots of rice for don and good portion fish. Zoomed in photo of the spicy scallop sushi showed it was California roll with the chopped spicy scallops on top. Overall, enjoyed my lunch. Would definitely come back to try other dons and noodles.
