My roommate and I just moved to the area from Ohio and love to try new foods. I previously worked at a fine dining sushi restaurant so I'd like to think I know what defines good sushi. This place definitely does. The presentation on a wooden boat was delightful. The rice was warm and fresh (which I love) and the sushi was rolled very tight. The prices were absolutely amazing for the amount of food we got. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely my new go to sushi and Asian cuisine in the area. Will not be going back. We ordered a sushi boat for 2 people. The only good part of the meal was the spicy miso soup. The sushi/sashimi itself was flavorless, looked old/colors were faded, fish obviously farm-raised, not to mention the escolar (white tuna) was frozen in the middle. The inside is old and run down, and the manager walks around in flip flops, leggings, and a tank top. And no one working there is Japanese. I am at a complete loss for all of the rave reviews. I managed to eat three pieces of sushi, and then had to stop. read more

But the sushi was bland, the sauces had no flavor, what was supposed to be "tuna" looked and tasted like it got ran over by a car. I've been living in largo for 4 years and have visited many sushi restaurants and none have wowed me. This place is amazing every roll I ordered was very tasty. We ordered the lobster roll, monster roll, and the osaka roll all are very delicious. My kids ordered the hibachi steak and they loved. This place is fairly new, the waiter was nice and very informative with the menu he suggested the monster roll. And it was yummy.
