You can opt in for a human if you chose to go that boring route but this droid was so sweet and respectable. I think I need to mention tbe food avain because ai went on and on about the robot so yeah the food is great too! read more

Recently, I picked up a takeout order at the Hibachi Express in Largo. Really just wanted a snack so I ordered their onion soup and Japanese spring rolls. The onion soup had great onion flavor, but I wish it had a little more onion in it. It was pretty much a broth, but a tasty one. The Japanese spring rolls were a tasty treat. Had a nice dipping sauce to go with it and you get three in an order. This could've been a five star experience if there were more onions in the onion soup, but I'm really not complaining. Still was a solid choice. I've never been disappointed here and I wasn't disappointed tonight . read more

We've gotten takeout from them a few times and the hibachi dinners are usually ok, not good and not bad either. The sushi has only six pieces in a roll and is very poor quality. We have repeatedly asked for no onions and when we got it, there were a lot of onions. I can't really recommend this place if you have any food allergies because of this. read more

Love Hibachi, but hate the prices? Come here! $16.45 after 20% tip for the Hibachi Steak Dinner. You order up at the front and a robot brings you your food! Pretty cool if you ask me. But if you're looking for conversation with the staff, this is not your place. I personally love the mix of traditional and modern. This is also reflective in the decor. read more

Was craving Asian food so I decided to give this place a go. First thing I noticed was that they have two doors right next to each other that both lead inside. The ambiance of the restaurant was chill. The staff seem friendly. As you walk in you are greeted by the cashier. I ordered the steak and chicken entree with fried rice and stir fried veggies. We also ordered fried pork dumplings. We were asked how we like our steak and we said medium well but got well done instead. Either way the steak came out good. The marinate was good and it wasn't tough. Had great taste to it. The chicken was a little on the dry side but it was also good. The dumplings came out good, I really liked how they were still hot and crispy. Overall I'm not sure this is authentic Japanese compared to other Japanese restaurants I've visited but the food is great! read more

Adding a second review as we ordered again - solid four stars this time. I did temper my expectations and planed ahead a little bit. I got the shrimp udon again, but ordered a side of shrimp as well. I ended up with a huge serving of udon, which had plenty of shrimp plus the side - maybe the first order was a bad day? It lasted me about 2 meals worth! Yum yum sauce on top is the key! The (bogo) spring rolls were great - super crunchy and flavorful and a great deal with the sale. The shrimp dumplings - still amazing. Crispy on the bottom and chewy/pillowy on top. Love the sauce too. We also got some sushi this time too - which my daughter stole, the 2 pieces I had were great and she seemed happy! Great local option! read more

Great place! Close to home, quick and awesome service, fresh sushi. Portions are getting smaller but maybe it's inflation.

Good food good service bathrooms are clean good cold drinks, good cold beer and friendly service On

Very mid. Chicken fried rice is just rice and chicken no veggies or salt. Sushi not good but crab Rangoon is ok

How this place has 4 stars I'll never know. My husband and I got take out this weekend, and it was awful. We had the red dragon roll, side salads, and the California roll. The sushi had absolutely no flavor, it was incredibly bland, which was odd. There was also a ton of rice. Later that night, we were both sick. I'll never ever eat here again. Go to Pisces for fresh sushi. read more

The food: 4/5 I loved the food it was quite delicious, everything was fresh and the presentation was very nice. I took one point off because the chicken was a little salty for my taste. There was so much chicken that I did not touch the side of chicken and vegetables I ordered. The portion is quite huge, I ordered the dinner portion. The service: 3/5. I walked in, made my order online and everything was ready to go. I took two points off because I ate inside and there was no utensils in the bag, would have been frustrating if I left and expected them to be in there. The ambiance: 3/5 the restaurant is pretty average. Nothing captivating about it. There was a robot that delivers food to you which I thought was really cool! There is ample seating for groups or if you are eating a solo meal. read more

Ughhhh......how utterly disappointing! I mean almost terrible! Yum yum sauce was delicious so that gets 5 stars! And the hibachi veggies were really good too. But that's it. We ordered 2 steak and one chicken hibachi lunch. Smells delicious! There was absolutely NO flavor to the rice! No veggies in it, no sauce and NO seasonings.....I can make that at home (but I have more sense). Now for the "steak".... It was burnt Chuck roast at best!!! Dried out and nasty pieces of beef that were charred beyond repair with a thick, sticky and way too sweet sauce on it. My dog enjoyed the gristle that was a major component of the dish. How this place is even open and can thrive in this economy is beyond me. Negative stars if I could do it! read more

Truthfully, for the price...it's solid Hibachi! You can't go wrong with it! If I'm in the mood for quick hibachi this place will always hit the spot. I've had bad hibachi at expensive places, and this is definitely the most affordable hibachi around. It's good every time we get it. read more

Great spot for hibachi! Located at the end of a strip off East Bay Drive, it's a non-descript location - but don't let that deter you. The food is great. Portions are large, and well executed in divided plates. Meats tender, well seasoned and piping hot. Vegetables are fresh, cooked to perfection (not too mushy, not too crunchy). Perfect fried rice; just sticky enough to adhere the flavors. Plus that delicious mustard sauce for dipping. Side salad a healthy mixture of lettuce, cucumber, tomato, onion and green pepper with more of that yummy mustard sauce. This is a great spot for hibachi. Recommended. read more

Ordered chicken fried rice with miso soup on uber eats. The description of the chicken fried rice states it comes with yum yum sauce. I ordered two orders of it and got no yum yum sauce. Now I'm stuck with dry chicken and rice for lunch. Do not recommend if they can't even get their own menu correct. read more

My sushi was as to be expected. Nothing spectacular but also nothing wrong. I was hungry!

The price of the plates are priced fairly for the amount you receive. I really enjoyed the little candies by the door when you're making your way out. The restaurant has a robot server which I thought was pretty neat. If you're looking for a good lunch special, this is the place! read more

This place was just OK. I have been trying to find a go-to spot for chicken katsu, but so sad to say I'm still on the hunt. It just did not taste fresh to me... The skin was far from crispy and the chicken cutlet was not easy to chew. I ordered the steak and shrimp lunch combo for my husband and I will say their hibachi dishes were a bit better. I liked that it came with yum yum sauce on the side. Others have commented on their sushi rolls being good, but I have yet to try. Will give them another chance but just will steer clear from the katsu. read more

Looks good in pics but the actual food is okay at best! You get what you pay for i guess! ‍ Hard to compare it to the fancr Hibachi placed where the steak melts in your mouth! They probably cater to certain client base. Didn't even feel like eating most of my dish! That's how okay it was. read more

This place is in a ran down parking lot but hey that's where all the good spots are!! The food is fresh, healthy, and affordable. Very satisfying for a quick bite to eat. I Definitely Recommend this place! read more

My wife and I ordered takeout tonight (Friday) at 6:30. My wife ordered the chicken and shrimp udon and she enjoyed it. I ordered the chicken teriyaki, which is very boring, but a staple that should be pretty straightforward. Unfortunately, it was the worst I have ever had. I can certainly tell you that it wasn't made fresh. My guess is that it had been heated up numerous times. I initially thought they had used breaded chicken, but it was just a crust that had formed. I couldn't finish it. read more

Awful! Order elsewhere. This restaurant has gone downhill fast. The most disgusting food ever. The rice was undercooked, not even edible, the chicken was way overcooked, disgusting. The seal was low quality. I couldn't even eat it! What a waste of $25 from ordering on Uber Eats. Used to be good but not anymore. Save your money! read more

Excellent stop, nice people, good prices, very clean. I had no idea existed until I had to stop here for unimportant reasons. I ended up having to meet with the owner in his office in the back. To get there you had to walk through the kitchen and prep area. The owner was very polite but what caught my attention was how clean the back prep area and kitchen were. It was surgical clean and staff was cutting up fresh vegetables for the day. I stop for lunch here weekly and it never disappoints, highly recommended. read more

This one is hit or miss. It's kind of loud & messy inside. The chicken is usually flavorful. The steak is about 50/50... the noodles are very good, the salad with ginger dressing is delicious. I wasn't impressed with the sushi. The gyoza are good. The crab Rangoon are decent. They claim the steak is filet mignon however filet is tender & flavorful... the steak they sell as filet is more like sirloin. The fried rice is tasteless but edible with extra seasonings. Overall we enjoyed the appetizers from here... that's about all. I probably wouldn't order from here again. Especially after picking up food & seeing the inside... read more

Hibachi Express - Shrimp Avocado Roll, Sweet Potato Roll, California Roll. The meat in them is really weird in texture. - Japanese Near Me - Largo, Florida

HE is very likely the best quick service Asian-American joint in all of Pinellas county. Wanting just an "appetizer" dinner, their gyoza, shumai, crab rangoon, and Mexican and Tampa sushi rolls were all very excellent! Fast and friendly service, they are making great efforts here to remain safe during Covid times. Fair warning, they get VERY busy during peak dining hours! read more
