It's hard to find a place with sushi burritos, so this is a nice unique item they have. The sushi burrito isn't huge, but I would say it's a perfect size and has plenty of the fillings. The service was a bit slow, but overall not bad. The ambiance is nice, it was decorated for Christmas which was very cute and enhanced my experience. read more

I guess I liked this place a few years ago. I think I went twice before this last time which was forever ago. I called in my order at 6:30 pm and when I got there at 7:15 pm it wasn't ready. I waited another 30 min. I came in and there was four people behind the spot check out and every single person ignored me and I asked where do i pick up my order. It was the check out on the left side. A guy was there first but he was too busy flirting to assist, & another girl finally acknowledged me and I let her know my order. I waited for it even though I ordered it ahead of time. We ate our food at the beach. I don't know why the Pad Thai noodles were straight up red as well as the chicken in it. I know it's a sushi poke Vietnamese restaurant and pad thai is Thai, but hey it is on the menu. It wasn't not a pad thai flavor, & very greasy. My sushi burrito didn't have much salmon in it and didn't have any flavor. I had picked sweet eel sauce and it was one of their sushi burritos that are on their menu and not customized. My manager was very eager to show me this spot and I can see why he loves this spot. I tried The Original Sushi Burrito, which consisted of tuna, crab mix, tempura shrimp, cucumber, asparagus wrapped in soy paper. It a very nice mix of different seafood, tasted fresh, and was surprisingly very filling. I'm typically a fast eater, so I had to force myself to eat slower to enjoy every bite. Why is it $14.99 for a General Tso's chicken lunch special??? Usually lunch specials are under $10. You'll find cheaper deals in NYC and this place is not even 100% authentic Asian. I've become accustomed to ordering food delivery (through Uber Eats) so I rely on others' reviews of restaurants to help me decide whether or not to order from there. I love seafood Pho, so, when I saw all the ultra-positive reviews for the Pho at The Spot, I had to try it. And, am I happy I did! You get a choivce of vegetable, beef or chicken broth (I chose vegetable) which is perfectly spiced, not too salty and is piping hot. The seafood (shrimp, crab, scallops and calamari) are fresh, tender and sweet. Perfect! The bean sprouts are crispy, the basil just picked and all the other vegetables, plus noodles, couldn't be any fresher. Bottom line...I order Pho from The Spot multiple times a week. The Spot/Halong Bay is located in the Largo Mall complex. It's in the same section as Target on the southern side. The interior is spacious and has a great vibe. We were quickly greeted and seated. For entrées, we both ordered B1, The Spot Special. It was their combination rice vermicelli bowl with grilled shrimp, grilled pork, grilled chicken and an egg roll. It was a HUGE portion! I was not expecting this to be this spicy. I also added cucumber, red onion, scallions, avocado, and cilantro. To top it off, I added masago, fried onions, sesame seeds, and wonton crisps.
