I love Ultimate Image! It took me a long time to start treatments because I thought they were expensive and I didn't know if it would work for me (I'm Hispanic with thick black hair). But after 6 treatments, I see significantly less hair! I am no longer self conscious about the area I got treated. I used to constantly think about my hair and when to get waxed, but now I barely think about it. I just paid for 6 more sessions because they were having a deal and the hair isn't 100% gone but I already feel so much better about my looks! I did 2 eMatrix treatments (out of 3) and saw no results - nothing that was promised during the sales pitch. I was sold a numbing cream to help with the eMatrix excruciating pain, and the cream was useless. When I asked the 2nd technician why it didn't work, she laughed at me and said "it doesn't do anything. Not sure why it was sold to you.". I don't trust them. Laser Hair treatments - I felt uncomfortable in the treatment room as there were cameras there - not sure why it wasn't disclosed and where the footage goes. They BURNED my skin. When I went back in there and talked to the manager, the manager asked me to "exfoliate" - which my dermatologist said was the opposite of what should be done. Every technician I've had has been very nice and professional. I will say that some technicians are more thorough than others so you may want to try a different person. She didn't even discuss any of their services with me which I would've considered purchasing until this woman blew me off. I've had laser hair removal treatments at several different facilities throughout the years including doctor's offices and medical spas. I purchased a Groupon in January for 6 treatments on a small area for $169. I was worried that there would somehow be a catch or a small area only included something like upper lip (I wanted Brazilian) or having to complete my treatments by a certain amount of short time. When I went to book my appointment online, the whole process was very easy. I selected a time that worked for me about two weeks out. By the time my appointment came around, I had the flu and couldn't make it. I read that there would be a no-show charge within 24 hours and when I called to notify them I couldn't make it, they were super sweet and told me not to worry and to call back when I felt better. Life got busy and I honestly forgot about my treatments for a few months. In June, I logged back online to make an appointment a little weary that I would get a notification saying my Groupon expired. However, that didn't happen and my appointment was made for that Saturday. When I arrived at Ultimate Image, everyone was super friendly and welcoming. I signed in, completed a small packet of paperwork and then was taken back by Mashi. She asked me a few questions about what I wanted and told me about pre and post care and instructions. She made me feel really comfortable and asked if I would be comfortable with a tech coming in to watch. She told me about the level they would start with the laser and I shouldn't expect it to hurt too much but let her know if it did. I was surprised by how fast the process was and how little it hurt. This is the first time I went to this location, and had a really bad experience. I read lots of reviews before I went and was excited to see that most people had a good experience. I had Courtney as a tech. BAD CHOICE! she seemed very out of it upon meeting her and did not see like she was "with it". I felt like I was being paranoid so I decided to proceed. Upon starting the treatment, when setting up, she was fumbling with things, and seemed to be under the influence. She was literally stumbling around and mumbling. At this point, I got worried and decided to leave. Before I left, I got her full name so I could check her license with the board. She didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. Upon googling her, OH BOY! This technician has a very very long criminal record. MULTIPLE DUIS and numerous other infractions against her. It all made sense. I am appalled someone works at this spa like this and is allowed to work so closely to people. I am shocked. BEWARE! I don't think this place checks their employees before they are licensed. I love Ultimate Image! I started treatments in July and instantly noticed a difference. The hair growth is thinner and lighter, the shading under my arms has gotten significantly lighter. I don't have to shave as often and when I do, I stay smooth longer than before. Kellye is wonderful and makes the whole process easy and comfortable. I won't lie, the treatments do hurt, but she makes sure to work with your pain tolerance and go at a speed that you can handle. The after-effects only lasted a day or so for me and I felt fine after that. I went to get a quote from Ideal image during their 70% off sale and they quoted me $7,000 for the same treatments that I'm receiving at Ultimate Image for roughly $1,000.
