I showed up early for my appointment, only to see multiple "specialists" standing around doing nothing. Despite that, I was still seen late. This shows a complete lack of respect for my time and professionalism. Then, I was told by two different people 3x that the price for my treatment had gone up and would it be okay... Why was there a need for that to be asked to me when in the fact the price did not change and as if I had a financial issue. To make things worse, they demanded I pay before receiving my treatment, which has never been the case in my entire history there. I have a friend who also gets services at Ideal Image and was never asked to prepay, which makes me feel like I was being singled out. I strongly believe this treatment stems from notes left in my file during COVID--notes from an incident that was their fault, not mine. That issue was already resolved by a previous manager, yet staff today seemed to use it as an excuse to treat me unfairly. This is discriminatory and unacceptable. I walked out without receiving my treatment, and I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB. Ideal Image has completely lost my trust and my business.

I have been so extraordinary impressed! In December 2019, I went for an evaluation of my breast implants (placed @ 13 years ago) because I had a concern of the shape. Upon Dr. Giraldo's evaluation, he explained that the 'Tear Drop' shape implants turned causing my shape and size to change. It made perfect sense! Dr. Giraldo further explained all of the types of breast implants and the implants he would recommend for me. I mentioned to Dr. Giraldo that I work out and he advised me on some movements to customize and sport bras to consider. Talk about a plethora of information?!? I left his office with more information than I had questions! Needless to say, I couldn't wait to schedule my surgery! I'm about 3 weeks out now and really haven't missed a beat! While I am being super careful with my upper body movements, I'm back at the gym. Actually, I went back on the 15th day after surgery and back to work on day 7! My recovery has been unbelievably quick and my follow up appointments have all been good. Scaring? No worries here because, Dr. Giraldo has some good ointments to help! Yes. Not only did she rush through the procedure (I had to get the rest of the blackheads out once I got home), she had very bad breath. The manager (name unknown) called me and apologized, but basically my bad experience wasn't their problem, nor was it their problem that I wasted $250 on this hydrafacial (I had a $100 credit, so between the balance and the tip, I paid a little over $250). The manager said she wasn't approved to offer a refund, nor any type of credit. I find this appalling as it seems that their management don't care about customer experiences; perhaps they need the $250 more than I do?!?! I did have another hydrafacial at the Plano location in March with Paulina and she was fantastic!!!! Too bad she's no longer there! A person whose English wasn't the best (I couldn't understand what that person was saying), called me right after I spoke with the manager, but as I couldn't understand what they was saying, I told them that I wasn't interested. I have had filler from one of the best reviewed Doctor's in my area with mediocre to poor results. When I read the reviews here of Dr. Adelglass, I didn't know what to believe. I knew nothing about him except what I read on yelp before my visit last week. I came for botox for some of my age lines and he didn't try to upsell me. I asked him about filler for an area that really needed it. Both botox and filler results have been excellent and I am _not_ exaggerating. The results look so natural and really made a difference. I just saw a photo of myself from 10 years ago. I realized that was the look he gave me yet it doesn't look phony or obvious - its appropriate for my age. Barbara was incredibly compassionate and helpful throughout the process. All I can say is the experience was worth it!! Thank you Dr. Adelglass. Thank you Barbara. p.s. That said, I've been going to Rodgers Dermatology for a few years now and I've had a good experience. I recently had a few procedures done, and everything went smooth from start to finish. The staff was friendly, the providers explained what was going on, and they made the whole process easier than I expected. I felt comfortable during the visits, never felt rushed, and appreciated that they answered my questions without making it a big deal. Overall, I'm glad I went and would recommend them, especially to anyone who may be putting off going to a dermatologist.

During those two weeks, not a single person from the office contacted me to explain that a parent or legal guardian must be physically present for a minor's initial visit. I intentionally scheduled this appointment before school started so my son would not have to miss class. Instead, he took time off work, drove to the office, checked in, and was then informed he would not be seen because I was not there in person. My son is nearly 17 years old and less than two years away from leaving for college. He is more than capable of attending a routine dermatology appointment on his own. If the practice requires a parent to be physically present despite a patient being mature enough to drive himself, hold a job, and manage his own appointment, that is certainly their prerogative--but it is also their responsibility to communicate that requirement before the appointment, not after the patient has already arrived. To be clear, I have absolutely no issue with that policy. I have every issue with a practice that fails to communicate it. When I spoke with the office manager, I expected a simple acknowledgment that the situation could have been prevented with a phone call, text, or email. Instead, I was told I should have known, that I should have called the office rather than using Zocdoc, and that there was essentially nothing to be done. If this office chooses to accept appointments through a third-party scheduling platform, then the responsibility to communicate office-specific requirements belongs to the office--not the patient. Suggesting otherwise is simply an attempt to shift responsibility for an entirely preventable mistake. I offered to FaceTime during the appointment or complete any required paperwork electronically so my son could still be seen. There was no willingness to accommodate, no effort to problem-solve, and no recognition that their lack of communication had now caused him to miss work unnecessarily and will require him to miss school for a rescheduled appointment. Policies are understandable. Poor communication is not. A complete lack of accountability is even less so.
