We were looking for something particularly difficult to source, but she was able to find exactly what we wanted. Afterwards, she helped consult on the style, setting, and insurance, and even worked with us on price to make sure everything was in budget. Throughout the whole process, we knew we were in good, professional, and capable hands. I originally met with the owner since everyone was busy, but was later handed off to Diana. After buying an engagement ring, that my fiancé loved, we are now working on picking out our wedding rings with Diana. She's hilarious, knows her stuff and was super helpful. She worked with us to get the best ring for the budget I had. I spent about an hour at the store debating over the watch and after considering, I texted the associate to request that he hold the watch for me and also source a twin watch so I could purchase two. I then received a call and the associate told me he didn't read the price right and that the quote should have been $18,500. To give a quote that is off by $10,000 is wildly unprofessional. My now Fiancee knew I was eventually going to propose and I decided to take her with me to see Billy at Ultimate Diamonds. Billy asked us all the right questions to help us figure out our budget, the setting, and the cut that was right for us. absolutely in love with my engagement ring! just a bit of background, my fiancé proposed knowing that we would go ring shopping together because i am, unfortunately, very picky. before we found ultimate, we spent 2 months and many appointments with private jewelers that we had thoroughly researched; some in the diamond district and some higher end places downtown. i only wish Ultimate had popped up on my radar sooner. we were looking for a square (or near square) cushion cut diamond starting at 2 carats. but everywhere we went i was pushed towards obviously elongated cushions or dull looking diamonds that just didn't have the right cut... some places told me that cushions can't possibly sparkle like a round brilliant. we always left feeling confused and disheartened. after another fruitless appointment elsewhere, we stopped in Ultimate without notice but Brian took care of us right away. we told him what we were looking for and the first stone he brings out is THE one. I really was stunned silent because it was so beautiful. 2.51 carats and it had it all, the fire and sparkle of a brilliant all in a colorless square cushion. he also provided the GIA report which my fiancé appreciated.
