Ultimate Diamond provided a once in a life time experience. They did an amazing job with my now Fiancé's, engagement ring. It is absolutely beautiful. While shopping in the Diamond District the moment I stepped foot into the store I felt the "this is it vibe" in my gut. Billy helped me through the entire process. He was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole experience, explaining each step of the process of purchasing an engagement ring. He never made me feel pressured in any way and just wanted to ensure that ultimately I was happy with the final product. After showing me a variety of diamonds of all shapes, sizes, clarity and color, finally one stood out and I knew it was the one. We are thrilled with the outcome and hope to work with them again in the near future. I would highly recommend for any jewelry needs. They are a 10/10. read more

A substantially overdue review for my fiancée and my experience with Diana and the rest of the wonderful team at Ultimate Diamond. My fiancée and I purchased the engagement ring of our dreams here at Ultimate Diamond with the help of Diana who taught us everything we needed to know about finding the perfect diamond. We were looking for something particularly difficult to source, but she was able to find exactly what we wanted. Afterwards, she helped consult on the style, setting, and insurance, and even worked with us on price to make sure everything was in budget. Throughout the whole process, we knew we were in good, professional, and capable hands. Of course, we're the type of couple that does our research beforehand and compared to the others highly-rated jewelers in the Diamond District, Ultimate Diamond is unmatched. The store is modern and welcoming (unlike many others), the people are wonderful, the selection is outstanding, and the pricing is fair. We cannot wait to buy more from them in the future as our wedding approaches. read more

My husband and I did not know where to start or knew anything about diamonds or engagement rings- we were completely clueless. We live in Houston, Texas and visited a numerous amount of jewelry stores but always left not satisfied. My sisters engagement ring is from Ultimate so when I told her I could not find anything up to par in Texas, she recommended I go to Choi from Ultimate Diamond and I will say, it was the BEST decision we have ever made. We flew into New York to meet with Choi and it only took one visit to start the process of customizing my engagement ring. She was very informative and patient with us and we did not feel rushed or forced into anything which is what I loved about this place. This review is long overdue (we got engaged 11-15-19) but Every time I look at my ring, I have this huge smile on my face. Thank you for making my dream come true Ultimate Diamond! read more

My fiance got my engagement ring from Ultimate, and I am absolutely obsessed with it. He went to every single shop in the diamond district and did an extremely thorough cost analysis of all the options available, so I know for sure Ultimate was a great option from the start. However, what makes Ultimate even better in my mind is how they helped us out when I lost my first engagement ring (oops) and had to get a replacement through insurance. They worked with my fiance to get the PERFECT replacement diamond in the exact same setting, and in fact the new diamond was even bigger and more beautiful because apparently prices went down slightly during covid and our insurance company gave us our original budget to work with. Lastly, I then went back to the store myself to sort out our engagement bands. Nirvana helped me out and was very patient and kind the whole time. I ended up picking the perfect bands out and feel so excited to collect them! This is besides the point, but the owner's dog is also really REALLY cute. Thanks for the great service and I will definitely be recommending to all my friends who are getting engaged soon ;) read more

Found this place through Yelp and the reviews don't lie. - place is open on the weekend (huge if you compare it to all the other places in diamond district) - staff is friendly and they're knowledgeable about what they're selling - has a good selection on hand (naturally mined & lab grown diamonds). Diamond consultant: Diana From my personal experience, the whole transaction went smoothly and professionally. I originally met with the owner since everyone was busy, but was later handed off to Diana. After buying an engagement ring, that my fiancé loved, we are now working on picking out our wedding rings with Diana. She's hilarious, knows her stuff and was super helpful. She worked with us to get the best ring for the budget I had. Any issues in regards to to the ring (fitting, thickness of the band, etc) she was able to fix/change even after taking payment and the ring had been in our hands for a couple weeks. Without making this longer than it already is, I just recommend going to these guys for your jewelry needs. Request Diana if you can she a real one. read more

So it is not coincidence that the owner's name is Gem. This place is truly a Gem because of how he is. #1 customer service, #1 prices, #1 quality. Cannot ask for more in a jewelry shop. I originally found Ultimate Diamond on yelp and so happy I did. We worked with Brian, who immediately made us feel at ease that he had our best interests in mind. He taught us how to understand the clarity and color metrics and what ranges best fit our needs. We are picky customers, so it took a few visits -- then Brian pulled off a miracle and found a diamond in Israel that fit the cut proportions we were looking for within the budget we were hoping to spend. Thank you so much to the whole team -- we really love the ring! read more

I was recommended by a friend to come to Ultimate diamond to get a consultation for an engagement ring. Billy took great care of me, spending what was supposed to be a 45 minute consultation turned into 2 hours. He was patient in answering all our questions, providing us rings to try and ultimately helping us narrow down what ring we wanted in the end. He did not try to persuade us in any direction but gave us honest opinions which I thought was really helpful especially for people who are new to this. I communicated with Billy for weeks and he was very accommodating and responsive - you can put a diamond on hold for a few days with a $100 refundable deposit. Billy was nice enough to let me hold it for a week - diamonds are cycled to different stores so the rock you see on their website may not actually be on hand to be seen. - based off research and a lot of price gaging, ultimate diamond has the best prices - can ship to Delware or New Hampshire to avoid paying NY sales tax. Must pick up there. They ship it to a FedEx. Provide you the tracking, and get the package by providing ID. Ring was in a box and trippled boxed for safety. Shipment is insured in case anything happens read more

Went to Ultimate Diamond after doing hours of research on various jewelers in the Diamond District. Long story short, they did not disappoint. Ask for Brian when you go -- he along with his team helped me create a stunning engagement ring for my Fiancé at an extremely reasonable price. After the proposal we went back as my Fiancé wanted to get me an engagement Rolex -- again we were not disappointed. Brian will absolutely be my go to jeweler moving forward! read more

Buying your first nice watch is an intimidating experience. Avi made the experience so much more comfortable for me by being honest, transparent and friendly. There's a level of trust that can be built by taking your time to teach a newbie why a Rolex can be a great investment. I tried walking into other stores that day and I felt right at home with Avi. Looking forward to working with Avi on many more purchases down the line. But so so happy with my first Rolex and can't wait to go back. My fiancé and I have had such a great experience with Ultimate over the past year! Last winter we went engagement ring shopping and their team spent nearly 2 hours walking through process and helping us choose my dream ring. We knew that when the time came to purchase wedding bands we had to go back to Ultimate. Nirvana was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the shopping process. I wasn't set on a band style upon arrival, but she had great insights (both functionality wise and aesthetic wise) to help me choose the perfect style! Would recommend Ultimate Diamond to anyone in NYC looking to tie the knot. PS anytime I'm in midtown, I pop by the store for a quick ring cleaning. I'm in and out in minutes and my ring sparkles like new afterward! read more

My now fiancé and I went to the diamond district looking for the perfect ring and just an overall good experience and we got just that at Ultimate Diamond. We walked in after going to a couple of places and had people pushing us towards certain styles and sizes when I just wanted what I asked for. We walked in and were greeted by Diana and she wasn't pushy and just listened so I saw her beautiful ring and asked if I can try something similar and she gave me options for the different settings until I found the one. They also made the process very easy for my fiancé and they were very accommodating. Overall very happy with my ring and experience. We worked with Gem to design the absolute perfect engagement ring! My fiancé and I were already engaged but wanted to design a ring together. Gem was phenomenal. He walked us through the process and explained everything. He was completely transparent and made us feel like family. He gave us his suggestions but told us to think about it. We went back 3 times before we finally picked the stones and were ready to have the ring made. We just picked it up today and I couldn't stop shaking. It fit perfectly and looked more amazing in person than I could've imagined. Gem picked the most perfect stones and was absolutely spot on with the size and color of the heart sapphires. I can't thank you enough! We'll be back shortly for our wedding bands. I highly recommend Gem and the team at Ultimate Diamond. They're going to be our family jeweler from now on! read more

Great shop in the NYC Diamond district. Beautiful selection of diamonds at fair prices. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. They have many rings and jewelry pieces that are ready to wear, but also can create just about anything. Would definitely shop at this store again for any future jewelry needs. read more

20 years earlier I had been to the Diamond District to purchase, so I came with cash and determined to haggle for the lowest prices and best values- No need to gird for battle... What a pleasant surprise, Diana assisted me in my selection ( I showed her the ring from Ultimate Diamond website) this is where service meets value! I was shown several variations on theme ALL in my price and taste. Diana through years in the industry gave me artistic and class options (This store doesn't do gauche or gaudy) We settled quickly on price (haggle free) no need to use cash. I arrived by train from Boston at 10am and my Diamond was mounted cleaned and boxed for my ride home at 1pm. I hadn't planned to purchase my wedding band but with the setting time I (should say Diana ) found another absolute winner! Only regret I had a Diamond for mounting - best value in the 4 -C's but as Diana said you can always go bigger later. Great job - well deserved review read more

I've had two separate outstanding experiences buying from Ultimate Diamond Co and felt compelled to share so that others are aware of this fantastic jeweler. I plan to return for my next purchase and will make sure to bring along interested friends/family. March 2022: I worked with Nirvana to purchase a tennis bracelet. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly listened when I explained what I was looking for. We landed on a beautiful piece at a great price. When I came in several months later looking for a watch, she remembered me and exactly what I had purchased - that's fantastic customer service right there! May 2022: After researching for a few months before coming into Ultimate, I worked with Avi to purchase my first Rolex. For anyone who hasn't bought a timepiece before, it can be very intimidating - there are many details to consider to ensure that you land on the best option for you. Avi was not only friendly and very knowledgeable, but he took the time to educate me on the different Rolex models before we aligned on the perfect watch for me. Avi worked with me to land on a fantastic price that sealed the deal. read more

STOP looking elsewhere for that perfect engagement ring, this is where you need to come. I was originally referred to Ultimate Diamonds by my cousin who bought his ring from them. I independently did my own research, and Ultimate Diamonds was one of the only 5 star shops with over a 100+ reviews. I messaged them on yelp and within minutes they were able to answer my question. I'm in sales and pride myself on customer service and fortunately so does Ultimate Diamonds. My now Fiancee knew I was eventually going to propose and I decided to take her with me to see Billy at Ultimate Diamonds. Billy asked us all the right questions to help us figure out our budget, the setting, and the cut that was right for us. Once we decided on the cut, he showed us several different diamonds to see what resonated with us the most...was it the color, the clarity, the carat, etc. He went a step beyond the basic 4 C's and taught me about depth, girdle, inclusions, feathers, table, etc. I went and did a ton of my own homework and told Billy what I had decided regarding budget, the 4 C's, and all other important factors. Two days later Billy had found three diamonds, all of which fit the bill of what I required in my diamond as well as nice to haves. I picked one of the diamonds and Bill had my setting customized to fit the stone perfectly. He told me he would have the ring ready in 2 weeks, but it was ready in less than 10 days. I didn't know where I was going to put the ring for two weeks before I was going to Aruba to propose and Billy was kind enough to hold the ring for me in his safe. I came to pick it up the day before our big trip, and he cleaned the ring for me to give me that extra sparkle. He wished me luck, and congratulated me after she said YES! He gave me a great price, and my fiancee literally could not be happier as he made her dream ring become a reality....I will be sending all of my referrals to him. read more

absolutely in love with my engagement ring! just a bit of background, my fiancé proposed knowing that we would go ring shopping together because i am, unfortunately, very picky. before we found ultimate, we spent 2 months and many appointments with private jewelers that we had thoroughly researched; some in the diamond district and some higher end places downtown. i only wish Ultimate had popped up on my radar sooner. we were looking for a square (or near square) cushion cut diamond starting at 2 carats. but everywhere we went i was pushed towards obviously elongated cushions or dull looking diamonds that just didn't have the right cut... some places told me that cushions can't possibly sparkle like a round brilliant. we always left feeling confused and disheartened. after another fruitless appointment elsewhere, we stopped in Ultimate without notice but Brian took care of us right away. we told him what we were looking for and the first stone he brings out is THE one. I really was stunned silent because it was so beautiful. 2.51 carats and it had it all, the fire and sparkle of a brilliant all in a colorless square cushion. he also provided the GIA report which my fiancé appreciated. Brian was straight forward and to the point, and he didn't have to sell us hard on anything, he really let the diamond do the talking, which was a nice change from our previous experiences. my fiancé and I are so happy with the final product, they took a gorgeous diamond and made me an even more gorgeous ring. I still can't stop staring at it. thank you Brian, and thank you ultimate diamond! read more

From the moment we stepped in the door, the Ultimate Diamond team made us feel comfortable, and provided expert guidance every step of the way in selecting an engagement ring! Throughout the whole process, their team genuinely had my fiancé's and my best interest in mind and used their expertise to help us select the best engagement ring. Their goal was to ensure that we got the perfect ring that we wanted. During our initial visit, Nicole helped my fiancé determine all of the specifications for the ring and band she wanted. She was so patient, intelligent, and kind! When I returned to look at diamonds, Kareem helped me select the perfect one. His knowledge and eye for the perfect diamond is remarkable. The diamond is a great size, and it's shape made it look even larger, really maximizing the value. Also, Billy Jr. was so helpful and knowledgeable throughout the diamond selection process too. Kareem and Billy Jr. helped me compare other stones, analyzed each, and provided their recommendation - which we all agreed the first stone was the perfect one. When it came time to discuss price, they provided the best price compared to other diamond district stores, and online. The team also worked with me for a quick turnaround for the completed ring, and made sure I had the proper protections (insurance) against loss, damage, etc. When I went in to look at the final product, it was stunning. It really was the ultimate experience. We can't wait to go back to look at wedding bands! read more

I visited this store today and was quoted $8500 for a pre-owned Rolex. I spent about an hour at the store debating over the watch and after considering, I texted the associate to request that he hold the watch for me and also source a twin watch so I could purchase two. I then received a call and the associate told me he didn't read the price right and that the quote should have been $18,500. To give a quote that is off by $10,000 is wildly unprofessional. Upon making such a mistake, the associated neglected to offer to make it up to us in any way. read more
