Next day I get a message saying they canceled it due to my credit card declining the charge. It's a $25k credit card with no balance. After an hour and talking to 6 people I get told "your card will not longer work at Electronic Express as it's been blacklisted" After 1 attempt? TF? So I try a new card and guess what...same thing. Both AMEX and Capitol One cards are now deemed as "unsafe" by their merchant. Their customer service department as a business is awful. It's like they're trained to be pissy and hate their jobs. Oh and except buying online there is no way to get the original $760 purchase price. I was told by Mr. Sassy Tude at the Oak Ridge store that it was "not possible for him to give the online price". Went to Home Depot. Used the same card. They price matched.

Anyway,Electronic Express in Oak Ridge TN had the fridge in stock and I was able to order and get it delivered within two weeks. The delivery was great although there was a piece of trim missing they were able to get it to me within a week. So overall very happy and pleasantly surprised at the inventory and delivery.

Employee goes by and says to the group which is six people so far.. when an employee sees you they will come help.. and nada. Then I overhear an employee in a neighbor section telling customers the have a virtual kiosk line already six people deep.. ummmm.. what kiosk line? So we opted to order in store on our phones for the item to be picked up. We left the store without one employee making eye contact or acknowledgment from staff. We came in to pick up the item. I will not return to this store ever. They made zero effort for the customer of even putting a name down so an employee can make sure everyone is seen in the order they came in. With stellar customer service like this they may meet same outcome of circuit city

So I drive 25 miles to buy a computer in their store, walked over to the Geek Squad to do data transfer. The kid employee asked me, "do you know how much this service is?" I said yes, $99. He said, "no, it's more than $200." He tried to flim flam me. Beat me out of several hundred dollars. He flat out lied. I left the store and tried to call the store manager. You can't do that either. It's an AI system that sends you to the Philippines. Tried calling again. Same results. Finally, got a number for the store, but again, no store employee answers. Some guy in Corporate Sales (US at-least) answered. He was apologetic and said the kid was trying to upsell me. It's fraud. So I can't return the computer or I will owe 15% restocking fee. So lesson learned. DO NOT BUY form BEST BUY. Absolute horrible customer service. GEEK SQUAD are there to fleece your wallet.

Things have definitely changed since the last two reviews were posted. Everyone says to spend your…read moremoney locally and I would have done that happily had the person who answered the phone today had not been so incredibly rude and had not told me immediately that he would NOT do anything without an $89 fee. I explained that I was two minutes away and asked if he could please put one letter key back on my keyboard. My "T" was off and I wanted a "professional" to put it back on so that I would avoid possibly breaking it. He said that I probably already broke it and that he would NOT look at or touch my computer without me paying $89 and that was just for him to look at it. Seriously? That's not a fair rate. I could understand $89 if I was stuck in a BSOD (blue screen of death) but one keyboard key? No way. To top it all off, his rudeness had already soured things before I even heard the $89 nonsense. I checked online and sent pics to a company who said there was nothing broken and instructed me on how to put the key back on. The company was retail and could have at least tried to sell me a whole new key but, no, they did right by me and helped me instead of coming at me with a rude attitude and an $89 fee declaration. I will never recommend them to anyone. Hopefully, the manager or owner will see this and tell them to get their act together. Horrible experience!!!

WARNING: DO NOT USE FOR DIAGNOSTIC SERVICES OF ANY KIND!! I…read moream a college student and I use(d) my computer for 6-12 hours on some days, let's just say it is essential to my studying and I also use it for gaming and streaming video. My computer was purchased 2-3 years ago from an online prebuilt computer store with a large reputation. Sometimes on these prebuilt units, things like fans and cooling can be kind of cheap as they save cost and spend more of the budget on big name processors. This means that in my unit, my CPU pump and therefore my whole water-cooling system failed about 6 months after I bought the PC. I brought it in to the Computer Depot fast, educated service to ensure my basically new PC continued to serve me well for years to come. I asked Zack to investigate everything and let me know what he thought was causing the clicking noise and check my computer for signs of heat damage. I also let him know I wanted to pay for a new layer of thermal paste if there were any signs of early wear on the CPU. Basically, I wanted him to make sure my computer was not damaged and make sure it was safe for the future. I left my PC with Zack. Zack can be described with five words: Slow, Arrogant, Condescending, Rude, and Useless. He kept my computer for 4-6 weeks and I had to buy a laptop to continue my studies on while my main desktop was getting work done. Every time I would call, it would take hours to get through and he would tell me it was running tests and he can't get it to replicate any of the issues I saw every time I used it at home. Basically he was saying my PC was great. Finally, he replaces the pump, but he doesn't do the thermal paste and I do not believe he even investigated anything for heat damage, though at the time he said he had. I bring the PC home, and the new pump is great. Now I realize all Zack has sold is a false sense of security, as the crashes that had once accompanied the CPU pump clicks are still occurring. My PC still crashes after 10-20 minutes of doing anything, and as time goes on the issues gets worse and worse. I have spent dozens of hours if not hundreds trying software side solutions. Eventually, the pump they had installed will fail as well due to him having the pump higher than the radiator, probably causing further damage. I have run memtest86 and received errors on 2045/2059 tests, this is a RAM/CPU tool where 1 failure is severe enough to warrant replacing parts. I have installed newer, larger CPU coolers that Zack said wouldn't work on my unit. I have even moved to Windows 11 in desperate hopes to fix this issue. At this point, it is either my CPU or RAM and I definitely asked him to look at those when the PC was younger and make sure they were healthy. The point is, I had a 6-month-old computer that I took to the Computer Depot, and I was even able to point them in the right direction and asked them to protect me from this exact kind of issue. All they did is waste 6 weeks of my times, show me an incredible amount of rudeness, and sell me a false sense of security. Unless you know exactly what is going on and what your computer needs- do not use the Computer Depot. I did not have money or time to troubleshoot this issue endlessly, but now I have been forced to spend hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours due to Zack's inability to diagnose computer issues. Stay away!!
