This place is ridiculous. I ordered a Traeger Flatrock grill from them. Got it for $760 before taxes. All good. Next day I get a message saying they canceled it due to my credit card declining the charge. It's a $25k credit card with no balance. After an hour and talking to 6 people I get told "your card will not longer work at Electronic Express as it's been blacklisted" After 1 attempt? TF? So I try a new card and guess what...same thing. Both AMEX and Capitol One cards are now deemed as "unsafe" by their merchant. Their customer service department as a business is awful. It's like they're trained to be pissy and hate their jobs. Oh and except buying online there is no way to get the original $760 purchase price. I was told by Mr. Sassy Tude at the Oak Ridge store that it was "not possible for him to give the online price". Went to Home Depot. Used the same card. They price matched. read more

I visited this store as I was looking for a specific Kitchenaide fridge. I had gone to other stores looking and no one had it available...one store even had a waiting list. Anyway,Electronic Express in Oak Ridge TN had the fridge in stock and I was able to order and get it delivered within two weeks. The delivery was great although there was a piece of trim missing they were able to get it to me within a week. So overall very happy and pleasantly surprised at the inventory and delivery. read more

Only one of two places that carried the appliance I wanted and a few dollars cheaper. Had to order but wait was only a couple of days. The only problem was the pushy sales guy. Didn't offer much conversation or knowledge, just wanted to know if he could have it ready for us. I ask if he worked on commission and he stated that he did. It explained his main concern. Sales associates should be knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They need to remember that commission is a reward for that part of service. It makes all of the difference in the customer's experience. read more

Changing my rating. Went there on my BIRTHDAY to talk to them about ordering an under the counter ice maker. Had it set on my phone (not saved). Had already looked through the site and it said would have to order in the store. Was pushed off to a second guy. He looks at what is in store and says this is it and just looks at us. I show him my phone, and he says we don't carry that, but if you go to change locations it will show you who carry it in store. Then he reaches over to MY phone...without asking...and clicks on it himself! Good thing my husband had my phone just then. I was furious! Then he scrolls the screen and says that it is showing we would have to go to one of those stores to order it! HELLO!!! Where was we? Then he walks off to go help younger people with sound systems and Yeti coolers. I will N E V E R walk into the store again. Happy birthday to me, and no ice maker also. We had good help the first time. But this time...what a shame. Good thing I don't know their names. But it would be nice to see people who work there look like they work there. You can have long hair but keep it combed or pulled back, and dress like you didn't walk in to buy something. And the invasive dude...straighten your clothes and loose the attitude. Really?! I don't appreciate being treated like that and you wouldn't either. Difference is I didn't cause a scene. I should have. Should have asked for the manager. What a disappointment. Only 1 other customer in the store and I was looking at the selection of car radios. Displays were not taken care of and falling apart. One salesman finally came over. I asked if they had any of the radios in stock. He told me "not really" since their install guy left a month or so ago. I asked if they would sale the floor models. He told me sure. I asked what price. He said the one listed. I told him that was the new price and the same new price that Best Buy was selling it for. He said "yeah" and just walked away. They didn't have to sell me it for a better price but we left there feeing like they could care less about their business and it showed. It was like we were in a "going out of business" store that stopped caring. I can't imagine they will be in business very long. So Best Buy it is for my future electronic purchases. read more

Was very disappointed with one of my purchase. The salesman told us there are few freezer that is available to ship whenever we want delivered. But it did not happen. Called the salesman and he said it is out of his hand and call their customer service that handles the delivers. I did and the person I spoke to said they only deliver what in the paper work they received and they don't have anything about the freezer and he said that he will call the store and get back to me, never did, so I called the salesman in the store and he said, since this is not his problem he will check on what is going on anyway and he will call me back and never did follow up either. Poor customer service. We feel like they want the sale but can't help you when there is a problem. Went to the store and saw him just sitting around and never said a word about what is going on. So we ask for our refund. I would not even give one star for the unprofessional service we receive. This company was highly recommended by a family member. Ask to talk to a manager but refuse for me to talk to him. read more

I went to the Oak Ridge store to purchase a Wi-Fi Extender & found the one I wanted. when I went to pay for it the price was more than double. When the sales person checked the price he said someone put the wrong price on it, well that wasnt my fault & I only wanted 1 & they would Not adjust the price, not even a 10% discount to make me happy. I didn't get mad but I left the store without it and I haven't been back. read more

Bought a dishwasher from their Oak Ridge Store. Machine was OK but the installers damaged it during installation. They used the wrong type and size screw. After the first use, it came loose and gouged the top of the door. Wife immediately went out and bout screw that fits right. She swapped out the screws. Dishwasher seems to work well but we know the installation was botched. read more

I'm really surprised at any negative review. Customer service, selection and price (they price match) beats the big competitor, hands down. I've purchased several items here, including a large TV and have been very happy with every purchase. I returned a suspected defective item (manufacture defect) and they gave me a new one within minutes without hassle or paperwork. Literally a 3 minute in and out. read more

Thought I would post this since I did not receive any response from Electronic Express Customer Service when I sent it to them. To Whom It May Concern, On May 19th 2020 I went in to the Oak Ridge TN store to look at the Washer/Dryer combos (either a Maytag or Whirlpool) and was greeted by a salesperson, Eric Dixon. He showed and convinced me that an LG combination was the better buy, and my wife seemed to like them also. One of the features of the dryer (model DLEX7600ME) was the door opened from the side or from the top. We discussed the fact that the door swung open (with the factory setting hinges on the right ) opposite the way we needed it to. Mr. Dixon said it could be easily switched by the installers in about ten minutes. We purchased the combo set on the 19th but could not have it delivered until the 25th. A copy of the sales receipt, the installation order and the warranty cards for the two appliances are attached with this e-mail. The installers who delivered the set on the 25th said they could not switch the door because of lack of training and left without changing the door as agreed. They were sent back out on the 28th, and they switched the door to the other side. My wife began complaining a popping sound was coming from the door as it was being closed. I read the section on switching the door in the manual and realized that the side interlock button was on the wrong side per the instructions (image on page 6 of the installation manual). I called the Oak Ridge store on Saturday, June 20th, about the door not properly opening and closing and that it was placing undue stress on the side interlock button . Upon speaking with the manager, Dakota Thompson, the first available day his personnel could come out was today, Tuesday June 23rd. We received an automated text at 7:01 pm on Monday, June 22nd, that the service techs would arrive between 6 and 9 pm on the 23rd so I did not take the day off from work. Evidently one of their jobs was cancelled, and the installers called my wife at 2:38pm informing her they were coming earlier than expected (when I was not present). My wife said they took the door off and switched the button to the other side; now the door will now not OPEN from the top, the screws are loose and will not tighten up! The door is loose on the hinges and the back of the door is not properly fastened. Prior to leaving one of the installers asked my wife if the door opened from the top to which she replied yes. When he asked her if it was a problem if it didn't, she replied yes because it was opening from the top just fine before they did anything. The other installer who was already heading out the door came back to take a look at what was going on. Both of them tried opening the door from the top and stated, "It can be opened as long as you pull from the left side". My wife said that as they were trying to opening the door, they were literally moving the dryer due to the amount of force that was required (also, as they were pulling on the door it was opening in a twisted manner and was evident the left upper corner was in a bind). They messed with the screws, which didn't help, so the one installer told my wife to call the office because they could switch doors all day long, but they did not know anything about mechanisms as they weren't trained on them (which they determined was the problem) and left. Again, it is to be noted the door was opening just fine from the top prior to them doing anything. My wife called Dakota Thompson and he said since it had been over 30 days we would have to call LG. My wife called the Customer Service Dept at LG and spoke with Amber who informed her that a service call could be placed, HOWEVER if the technician determined the problem was due to installation error and not a manufacture's defect we would be liable for any charges. My wife tried reaching Dakota Thompson after this call, but he was with a customer. She left her number at work and informed the sales person she would be there until 5pm but never received a call back. *After reading the manual and doing some looking at the dryer it is missing the top interlock button when depressed it engages the top handle of the dryer door and allows it to open. With the delay in the delivery of the washer and dryer, the delay with someone having to train the installers to switch the door then having to request another service call due to an incomplete job when it was switched - and now that not being done correctly per the manual instructions, we are being told we have to seek assistance through LG. This is not an LG problem but I believe a lack of service after the sale and what was originally agreed on with Eric Dixon. I do not believe I should be potentially responsible for the errors of the installers should LG determine this is not a manufacturing defect. Bottom line do not buy trust Electronic Express they do not stand behind what they sell. Regards, Gary Wyatt read more

waited outside of your store this morning in the cold from 3 am to 5 am waiting to purchase a 70 inch television for $399. I was the 3rd person in line outside as well as inside of the store in front of the 70 inch television. Everyone was in a single file line on the right side of the televisions. The three of us that were first in line had our hand on the television box. I looked up and noticed a man walking up on the opposite side of the aisle (NOT in line with the rest of us). The sales associate stood directly beside me and proceeded to hand the first two customers in line a ticket to claim their TVs. He then looked at me and proceeded to hand the 3rd ticket to the guy not in line, but waiting on the opposite side of the aisle. After he handed the ticket to the man not in line he immediately turned to his left and asked all of the others if they were waiting on the same TV. He completely ignored me and treated me as if I was invisible. I spoke up and let him know that I was also waiting in line and that I was 3rd in line. After that he briefly went to have a word with another sales associate and then returned shortly after to tell us that there were only three 70 in TVs for $399. I am highly upset that I was purposely overlooked and discriminated against by your sales associate. I will never step foot in your store again. read more
