Hello, I am writing you on your complete failure. I ordered $6000.00 worth of appliances from you. My text message from you for my first delivery was that my items will be delivered between 5:30pm and 9:30 pm. We started our 45 mile trip to the house at 4:00 pm to get to the house at 4:45, 45 mins early, at 4:15 we get a call from the driver stating he is 10 mins away. We told the driver we won't be there for at least another half hour, he told us he can only wait 15 mins. I told him about the time frame you sent me, he said he knew, but they were getting there earlier because of a shipment not delivered. I told him if you would of called us, we would of left earlier. We kept going on and on, this was not my fault, he was being extremely rude and wouldn't budge. We had to call the store manager to get him to do his job. We were driving over 100 mph to get there thanks to him. I guess the Store Manager must of talked to him, he changed his attitude when we arrived at 4:38. Well the refrigerator was dented, so he had to take that back. I got a new delivery date for that. I had to drive the 90 miles round trip for that, just to find out he couldn't get up my driveway due to the rain. I got a new delivery date, this time they get there at 7:30 at night, don't even open the gate and said they won't delive r it, due to it being to heavy. What do you pay these people for? Now I have 3 days driving there and I have no refrigerator. I went to the store to talk to the Manager in Harriman Tn. Christie, she was very nice. But still the 4rth delivery got screwed up too. It was suppose to be today, but no text message from you. I called the delivery people today, they said they had nothing scheduled. They told me they can deliver it on the 5th between 7 and 7. I do not live at this house yet. Another 90 miles with a 12 hour window, I don't think so. I have been overly patient with you people, now I just want a refund. I am done. You people do not seem to care one bit.

Many store do not deliver and if the do,,, rent their truck and pay alot of extra to get a load from A to B. I thank the people of Potter's for this service as it's is a major draw back not being able to move this heavy wood or other ect. Thank you and I take my business there first for everything just because of this. This store also has people with real know how. Ask questions of things I need on how best to fix things myself. Downtown Hardware lacks the wood floors and high ceilings that I remember from the hardware stores of my childhood, but it fills the bill with its inventory and its staff. Best of all, it's efficient. When I need something specific, I can walk into the store, tell the young staff what I need, and be out the door with my purchase in roughly the same time it would take me to park my car at that big-box home improvement store that often doesn't even stock whatever it is I was looking for. Yes, I'm a fan, and I hope that Downtown Hardware stays in business forever.

Horrible customer service. They wasted two months of my time. Had my portable generator for 2…read moremonths . Every time I called, I was told they were checking this issue or that issue. I was told that a new carb kit had been installed and that they were going to have to order other parts. I finally picked it up yesterday after receiving no updates. I took it to J&J Small Engine in Clinton, Tn. He fixed the problem in one day. He told me that no new parts had been installed on my generator, as I was told. If you need small engine work, call John at J&J. 865-457-4159 I would put a zero rating if that was an option.
