HOWEVER, she cut my bangs super uneven and my bleach job was BLOTCHY!! I washed my hair ONCE and it was literally ruined. I paid 220 for my hair for it to not even last ONE WASH???? Nearly every single product I sampled and liked was out of stock, and samples themselves were musty and visibly appeared to harbor high levels of bacteria. However - I was happy to learn about their return policy! If you buy something and you aren't satisfied, you can exchange it. Floor employees were actually very helpful. Seems like management needs to do better with inventory and general cleanliness of the shelves. I went to Ulta to get my eyebrows done, and Bridget suggested I do waxing and put me on the appointment calendar to come in and get them done. Previously, I've been either doing threading or tweezing, it's been a while since I've had waxing done. Bridget did a great job, it didn't hurt as much as I thought and it was over super fast and my brows looked great. When I used to get threaded sometimes it would bleed and the experience would last so long, this was the exact opposite. Bridget also used some solution on me after and the skin irritation wasn't too bad and I didn't break out. It was pricier than threading, at a whopping $27 it was around twice as expensive as threading, but in my opinion it was well worth the extra cost. read more

There's no need to be treated like that.. they should respect your desire for privacy! After kindly saying, I'd rather not give either, she threw my items into a bag and pushed it at me. Came in specifically for DevaCurl and had some questions since there seems to be a variety of shampoos & conditioners; which type is best for your curls since there's several choices and I'm not educated on hair care (yes, really). I could hear the salon gals talking about their holiday plans, and another gal asking customers about their foundation, yet no one ever approached the painfully obvious clueless gal. The gal who helped me rung up my stuff on one register while multi tasking another customer on another register. I love this location! My sister and I came in for new foundation (getting tanned so we need our summer color). The sales associate was so helpful! She explained many of the other products (we like bare essentials) and tested them for color matching. When I asked her about a moisturizer that wasn't too heavy, she led me to the way of some great ones and even brought over the facial expert for her recommendations. I was one of the only customers in the store at the time I shopped. A guy, who was obviously with loss prevention, kept following me everywhere I went. It made me so uncomfortable I left without shopping. From the other comments, it seems to be a prevalent problem, although I do understand that theft is also a problem. Nice store to go to for all your beauty need. One stop shopping. We get all of our organic makeup there because it's better for my daughters face. Majority of the items are pricey and the reward program and the $3.50 coupons aren't that helpful. Once every blue moon you get coupons that you can only use on certain items and less then once in a blue moon you get a coupon for 20% off entire purchase which is almost everything in the store. Let me start by saying I love Ulta but I will never shop at this location again. They have a great variety but the customer service is terrible. Jen the manager is just rude plain rude and does not care about the customers. George was just as unpleasant and fake. I have been there on other occasions but this curb side pick up drew the line. They have always had rude customer service but today took the cake. Even when I called customer service to file a complaint the representative Enrique was so unprofessional and rude it truly amazed me. He was very condescending and just did not take my complaint seriously and brushed it off. At this point I'm better off going to Sally's or just ordering online at amazon. They need to retrain their entire staff at this location on customer service because the customers are the reason they have jobs and clearly nobody at this location cares about customer service and as for the customer service rep. Hair stylist ruined my daughters hair. My daughter received a Brazilian blowout. At the end, stylist stated she had to do the process twice for it to work. My daughter's hair became dried out and started breaking. A month later her entire head of hair was broken and short. It's been a year and she is barely growing her hair back but very slowly. Her hair is now shoulder length after monthly deep moisturizing treatments her hair is starting to look healthy. I know the hair stylist did something wrong because I took my other daughter to another salon for same treatment and her hair wasn't damaged but rather smooth, straighter, healthier, long and never dried out or broke. BL, would never go back to this Ulta Beauty. We had a horrible experience and caution anyone considering hair service at this location. Wasted $400 down the drain. Good luck. read more

Love the store. I'm not much of a mall shopper but this store has everything to give a woman a lift through body and beauty care and has a lovely line of fragrances too! Tonight's customer service experience from a manager at the store was pretty appalling and really detracted from the holiday cheer to say the least. I had a heavy basket full of items and my jacket and purse in arm and I struggled to put it on the counter especially with a huge puddle of coffee all over the counter. She said put your stuff up and I said I cant - there's a huge mess someone spilled. She said I know I already took care of it - I said no not really it's all over. I asked her if she could hand me a towel and I would clean it. She said ma'am this store is understaffed and I'm doing my best cant you see that. I said I just want to put my stuff on the counter without dragging my jacket through this mess - please hand me a towel. She got in a huff pulled out wet wipes came to my side and wiped the large spill. Went around the counter gave me a look and I put my basket up. I said I dont understand why you are upset with me when I just needed a place to put my things down so I could pay you. Not once did she say sorry when she saw how big the spill was that she said she already cleaned up. The other customers in line were shocked at my encounter. I am a diehard makeup girl, but I just cannot get down with Ulta. Their product selection is pretty awesome as they have an extremely wide variety of products for all price ranges. I find it pretty easy to find what I am looking for and discover new things. If the products they offered weren't so great, I would not come here because the customer service is atrocious. It is nearly impossible to get an associate to help you and when you finally get lucky and flag one down, they act like you are wasting their time. Even if I could look past their garbage demeanor, I cannot understand how someone can work here and not have some sort of basic knowledge about the products and the promotions they are offering. For a store that is usually empty, you would think they could bother to become acquainted with what they sell in their downtime. Bottom line, I would recommend shopping on Ulta's website. read more
