This store is always a must when I go to Uptown Albuquerque. When you walk in you are taken in by all the various and wonderful aromas. There are many samples to try throughout the store. I love the various soap shapes boarding on some beautiful and others bizarre. They have many helpful salespeople. You can create your own concoctions too. Stop in for a cool experience when over in this side of town. read more

I was very exited to discover this store for the first time last week! It was near our hotel and my daughter and I were walking to lunch when we decided to stop in. They had a colorful display that smelled amazing!! And then their staff was engaging and well informed, this whole intro was very nice and welcoming! However, the biggest, baddest find of the day happened towards the back of the store, dry mascara, not tested on animals!!!!! I have long lashes but they are light so I used to die them, but now that I live in los alamos I don't have a reliable place to get this done (SF is 45 mins each way). So I'd been using "they're real" , but lately it's been drying out in this high desert environment, and at $35/tube, it was not sustainable. So it was like the ray of light shining from heaven when I heard our hostess mention a dry mascara- Time stopped..."TELL ME MORE about this please!?" $60 later I have a solution to a problem that has plagued me since we moved here : namely, how to get good quality cosmetics and get full usage out of them before the environment has a chance to impact them. The answer: LUSH cosmetics' dry mascara. It's full coverage, non clumpy, good for animals, good for NM and CO and AZ weather. Natural, inexpensive, great value. YAY!! Keep up the great work LUSH!! p.s. the mascara was $26 plus i got a super cute cosmetic bag/handbag with bunnies boxing and "fighting animal testing" on the side- humor, awareness, quality- SOLD! read more

Amazing customer service! Great selection! Beautiful store, and it smells amazing highly recommend shop here

Lots of variety in what you are looking for to keep your skin/hair healthy. I really am pleased with their recycling of there containers so that's one less item going into the landfill. I purchased Herbalism wash-- cannot get into a paste to wash body, but working on it . Their lotions, I really gravitated towards the lotions. Nice and thick and not a strong smell to overwhelm you. Items are pricey, but you can tailor what you are interested in as it's based on weight. read more

GET THE LORD OF MISRULE BATH BOMB! It's GREEN but then it turns PURPLE IN THE BATH. It's so AWESOME. Get your crystals. Get green crystals and purple crystals. And then get yourself a green melon or a pomegranate, and ENJOY YOUR PURPLE BATH. Maybe even get some wine! Red wine of course. Anyways THAT bath bomb in particular was awesome. And ALL of their bath bombs are epic. I love lush. Lush is my favorite store. I have been in love with Lush since I discovered them in Oregon. And now I'm here, in New Mexico, and they are here! It doesn't matter what you like; bath bombs, skin care, hair stuff etc. this place is amazing. I've been going here for years and I just keep glowing. If you haven't gone here yet, it's TIME. And if you're worried you'll spend all your money here, DONT WORRY. Just carry around Citrines and blow cinnamon in your house every month and you'll get rich and can buy every lush product you want. Also your bathtub will be really happy with you if you get bath bombs here, my bathtub just looks happier and happier every day. Anyways. I love this store. And you will too. ALSO: if you leave the bath bombs on your shelf, or store them in your open spaces, they make the ENTIRE HOUSE SMELL NICE. So do that! read more

Ordering online and using curbside pickup couldn't be easier at this location. My order was ready in less than a few hours. When I arrived, the phone was answered immediately and it took her a few minutes to find my order. I was out of there in less than 10 min. Plus, she threw in two samples. Very sweet. Never had a bad experience. The employees are lovely, curbside pickup is efficient and I love their products.

I'm such a newbie, this is the first time I've seen, let alone gone into a Lush. What a great store and amazing product line. There are lotions that are so fresh that you have to Refrigerate them, there are soaps, and bath bombs, and shampoos, and conditioners. The produces are fresh organic and natural. They don't use any hash chemicals, so no animal testing. The company believes in ethical sourcing for the ingredients. I really love companies that are leading the way in paying attention to world issues. The products really aren't more expensive than the cosmetic lines at the mall, but you walk away feeling cleaner, on a lot of levels. read more

Visited this store on vacation from Washington. I needed something for my skin as it isn't used to the drier air and wind here and started to get dry and rough. A lady helped me pick out some things for my skin that have worked really well for me so far. She was very helpful and friendly and made my experience a great one! Wonderful smells and products! I spent about 45 minutes in the store yesterday. I could be there so much longer. It was a little overwhelming how many amazing things there are. This Lush store was awesome. We instantly got helped by Dara (sorry if I spelled it wrong). She answered any and all questions we had and was very informative. Even the other two girls in the store were either helping others out or ready to help us as well. The wife bought mask of magnitude which she says is 7/10. She has some better ones. Regardless, we're likely to come back and check out some more stuff. Oh yeah, and I got a sample of the stout shampoo. That stuff smells awesome! 5 stars is mainly for the awesome customer service! read more

Instead of focusing on a sale, why not focus on treating all of your customers right? I have been buying Lush products long before they were at malls and well before vegan and gluten free were a thing. Yet, here I am on a Sunday afternoon being followed around Lush while I am considering buying soap for my unusually dry hands. I really don't appreciate it. Is that standard procedure to follow certain people in a store? Then retailers wonder why people don't shop at stores anymore. This is why, your treatment sucks. I'll buy online instead. read more

I went into this store today with my young child. I was wearing a mask & HEAVEN FORBID MY YOUNG CHILD WASNT?! A worker came up to me immediately saying she needed to wear a mask, ignored my response that we'd just leave & continued to talk to my 5 year old directly telling her to put it on. I cannot believe the disrespect. If your small children like to breath in stores, avoid this one, because not only do they enforce it on them, they're CREEPY about it... read more

I have been to several Lush locations.. Ala Moana, Hawaii Las Vegas, Nevada New Orleans, Louisiana Austin, Texas The list goes on. I have always received top notch service but for some reason in Alburquerque, New Mexico I had a different experience. The employees constantly bombarded me and my partner asking us to try every single product in the store at EVERY TURN. Yikes! I grabbed everything I came for minus R&B (my personal favorite) because they were out and ran for the hills! Give the customer an opportunity to browse, decide, and ask for assistance when and if needed. When you constantly follow around customers without allowing them to make a choice about products it becomes annoying. I'm giving this location 3 stars based upon past experience with Lush products. If not for the products, It would have been 1 star. I'll stick to online shopping to avoid being constantly accosted! read more

I love Lush! I have been using their products for years, having to travel first to Canada or the uk to get my fix. The solid shampoos are wonderful. If you like to take baths this is the place to go, bath bombs (like a giant alka seltzer) , bubble bars, shower gels...oh la la. Not tested on animals...some products are vegan. Soaps, lotions, face products...too many new things to name. Go! Come out clean! read more

Lush always has such great products, and a really helpful and amazing staff. I've been to this location 3-4 times, and all around the holidays too. For the longest time I've been going into Lush and getting samples. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy the cuticle cream that will literally change your life. I know 17$ seems steep for a cream that is only intended for the tips of your fingers but this stuff is sent from Heaven. Especially in New Mexico, Especially in the winter! Its called lemony flutter. Its not greasy, it absorbs into the skin and nail bed, and it truly elimates that awful dry cracked skin. Put it on your elbows, heels, any where dry skin peeks out its ugly face. Bonus it has the best smell imaginable. You will be sniffing your fingers ALL DAY! So back to the store. This store is just magical and the ladies who work there are so so sweet. When I walk in they are always so happy to help me. I usually leave with at least 7 samples. They even catered to my husband who was just along for the ride and has a lot of skin allergies. They always go through all the ingredients with him on the stuff they give him to try which is so cool. This is a luxury store. Its a place to go if you want to treat your skin to something really nice. If anything please stop in and get a bath bomb, it will run you 5-7$ and you will have the most relaxing bath of your life. Also the ladies are gonna pamper you a little letting you try all the fun things in the store. Honorable mentions- Sugar Scrub for the lips (limited edition Santa Cola Flavor) So SO SO Good! Get all the dryness off your lips and also get the yummy taste of a sode (with no calories) haha Helping Hands- You want lotion that your skin will eat up. Buy this! EXTRA BONUS- They fight against animal testing, the use 100% recycled plastic for their containers and if you bring back 5 empty containers you get a free mask. In the end, yes I love this store and so will you! read more

I hope this review gets back to the PHENOMENAL employees at Lush in uptown Albuquerque. Sara B, Devin and Kat, you guys are literally some of the best people I have had the pleasure of knowing. I didn't see too many aggressive salespeople, although I didn't see many salespeople, however most were helping other customers, and the 2 that weren't were looking for someone worthy of their time. I was not that person. The store was crowded, as expected for a saturday, so I only browsed through one section, but I didnt see anything I liked, but then again I didn't know how to use the stuff and I wasn't helped by anyone. read more

Always a great experience from their knowledgeable staff. I first tried their lotion in Dublin and I loved it so much that I wanted to get more. I was worried that my lotion wouldn't be here in the states but I was fortunately wrong. On top of that, the sales people I talked to (both in Ireland and in the US) were helpful in picking out other products that worked well for my skin type (very dry and cracked). I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to their sensitive skin lotions now... As are my sisters! We love that they don't do animal testing and that they do their best to stay away from harsh and harmful chemicals. The only downside is that their stuff is pricey. However, this is generally true for any type of body care product that doesn't use harsh chemicals. (Think Weleda, John Masters, Dr. Hauschka) read more

I love Lush!!! This is one of my favorite cosmetic shops in the entire world and I'm so happy to find one in the 505. All animal and cruelty free, green packaging, and a recycling program makes this a conscientious choice. They also have a "charity pot" and proceeds from that purchase go to charity. This is a social movement type of place that lines up nicely with my values. The staff is also one of my favorite reasons to come. They always staff very well so if you have questions or want to try a product you're able to get help immediately. They also introduce you to new products and talk about what specifically you're looking for. I really appreciate someone trying to help me figure out a moisturizer for my hair in this high desert environment. My favorite product is the bath bombs. Super amazing fizzy balls that smell divine! Honestly it turns a regular bath into an affordable luxury. My second favorite product is the bubble bars, which are super long lasting bubbles for the bath. Who needs bubbles that disappear in 5 minutes. These last so long you drain the bath and STILL have bubbles that stick around. Other favorite products of mine are the hair conditioners, masks, and soap selection. I think Lush is a great option for gifts, chose from brightly colored wrapped pre-sets or build your own. I love Lush as a gift! I hope you'll try this amazing shop and fall in love! read more

Omggg I love this place! How does someone NOT love Lush? Anytime myself or my husband come in, we ALWAYS get amazing customer service. For the life of him, my husband can't remember the name of one of the gals who helped him out ... but he owes her a massive "thank you" for the suggested uses for some of their products. The obvious thought is," You use Lush stuff for personal care. Duh". Well... I Love Juicy makes an UH-mazing carpet cleaner. Yeah, you read that right. It makes your tile and grout look brand new, too. OOOHHHHH how about that? Have a clean house that smells like some heavenly Lush? Sign me up! My carpets look fantastic, and thats pretty massive considering I have a pack of dogs that LOOOOOVE to ruin things ;) Product wise, I can't praise "Curly Wurly" and "Blousey" enough! Even though you can only get Blousey online now, it helped my damaged hair immensely! Curly Wurly has been reviving my lost curls and now they're coming back with a vengeance! LOVE IT! And if you happen to fall in love with any of the Snow Fairy line, snatch it up while you can since it's an "exclusive" that's only available after Halloween until Christmas The prices can shock you at first, but their products *are* worth it; I've used Lush for over 10 years - converted my husband to the Lush life almost nine years ago, lol. read more

Love this place! Everyone is very helpful and attentive! I too can spend a lot of time in here. All their products are natural and animal testing free, which is a major plus for me. I hate the idea of animals going through torment, pain and death for MY VANITY. During the holidays they have so many amazing limited items that I wait every year for, it suck that they don't carry them year long.. But in the end it's kind of cool cause it adds to the holidays ritual. They also have really cool gift boxes that make for great presents during the holiday. If you save five of the plastic cups the products come in they give a free be. Which is very very epic. I also love their bath bombs, adds a lot of excitement for bath time for the kids. read more

This is as much a review as it is a testimonial. And I'll be candid. I found out about this place when my Aunt (from Australia) sent me some products for Christmas last year. She sent me some bath balls and some of their body butter. From that point on, I was hooked. I went last month for the first time when I had a little bit of extra money. LUSH is a place you go to get things to pamper yourself and take care of yourself. I walked in and was treated like a princess! They have more things for the body than you can think of. They have body butters, plenty of bath balls (fizzy and bubbly), shower gels, soaps, lotions, body conditioners, deodorant, and tons of other stuff. This place smells SO good..and it's all natural stuff! A lot of the products even have a sticker on the back about who created your product, and when it was made. Talk about fresh! So I was taken in to the store and pampered. They let me try a bunch of the products that they offer. It was awesome. So I ended up settling on a few things: The Bath balls: they have fizzy bath balls that you drop in the bath when you are ready, as well as bubbly ones that you crumble while you're running your bath. They are a bit pricey, so you can cut them in half to make them last a bit longer. They smell heavenly! These are smells that I've never smelled before. They are chalk full of natural ingredients that tantalize the senses and leave your skin soft and conditioned. The Ro's Argan Body Conditioner: the cool thing about this stuff is you don't have to put lotion on if you use this stuff in the shower/bath. You use it in the same way that you condition your hair. Massage it in, then rinse it off before you get out of the shower. It leaves your skin so soft and smelling like roses! It's too heavy for the face, so that's the only place you shouldn't use it. I use it once a day. The Ocean Salt Scrub: Love this stuff! I use it 1-2X per week on my whole body, including the face. It's exfoliating and smells wonderful. It has lime and vodka in it. And it has moisturizers in it...so it won't leave your skin stripped or dry. The Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter: There's literally a whole juiced lemon mixed in. You can use it on your rough bits..including your heels, elbows, knees, and cuticles. It leaves your skin soft and conditioned. The Imperialis facial moisturizer: This is where I get on my soapbox. This and the ocean salt scrub have saved my face. They are the only two products I've been using on my face for over a month (besides the occasional face sunscreen if I'm outdoors for an extended period of time). Let me give you some backstory. I stopped taking birth control about 2 years ago after having been on it for years. I wanted to give my body a break from all of the hormones, and my husband and I are thinking of having kids sometime in the foreseeable future. Well, ever since I stopped taking the hormones, my face has hated me. I was breaking out all the time. It was just horrible. I broke out at least once a week. I felt like I always needed makeup on my face. I tried Proactive and several other products with no luck. I started using tea tree oil and witch hazel with some success, but I was still having occasional breakouts. I haven't had a pimple since I started using LUSH products. And my face looks so much better. I actually realized that I stepped out of the house without makeup today and wasn't self conscious at all. Self-confidence is priceless. This place is a little pricey. Pampering yourself often costs $$. Don't break your bank, but I recommend this place. I wish I could buy everything in the store, but I can't. I think the products are worth every penny. The beauty of these products, too, is that a little goes a LONG way. So don't be wasteful with the LUSH items. You only need a dab. They will last you for months if you are conservative. Another cool thing was that they gave me a bunch of samples to try before I left. I got some samples of lotions and shower gels. Make sure you save your product pots. If you return 5, they will recycle them AND give you a free mask. The masks are made from fresh items (like avocados or bananas) and are overnighted and put on ice inside the store. They are available Thursdays or Fridays. So go to LUSH, look around the store, take a tour, and decide what works for you. The LUSH girls will help you out. Enjoy! read more

A while back my wife took me to lush and since I have dry skin, she wanted me to try some natural produces. I went along doing what most men do and I harped and complained the entire time. I bought some face moisturizer and body wash called "Dirty"! Being a huge fan of natural products I can honestly tell you I'm in love with this store, almost borderline obsessed. Just walking into that place makes me feel that not spending lots of money is no longer an option, I'm about to go broke in this store. Walking in to Lush the smell is freshly intoxicating, the sales people are inviting and friendly and the natural products have made a believer out of me. read more

This place is bath product heaven. Everything is food-grade (I assume that means if I ate my handmade masque, I wouldn't die from some horrible chemical ingestion.) Face masques are genuinely divine. MUST BE REFRIGERATED or they will mold (remember the food thing?) my favorites are the Love Lettuce and the Brazened Honey, but am always willing to try something new. All formulas are based on what your skin needs (dry, dull, etc.) I could go on and on about which products I adore (and am happy to do so), but mostly, this place is awesome because of the customer service and every employees' belief and love of the product. They will show you their personal favorites, have warm bowls of water to try products, play, smell. They also will give you a sample of of ANYTHING you want to try and are GREAT about suggesting items. Ok, my favorite items (just because): masques, Marilyn hair masque, Dirty room spray, Rose Argon body conditioner...ok never mind. Everything is amazing. Just go. Pamper yourself. Lastly, they recycle! Take in 5 used pots and get a free face masque!! read more
