I was very pleased with Marisa, she was extremely sweet and explained everything before and after my appointment. My eyelashes came out beautifully and are still looking really nice 3 weeks out. They are a bit long for everyday wear though so hopefully when I have my fills done we can place the shorter sport length lashes in. Eyelash extensions are a huge commitment, it's like having acrylic nail maintenance but more pricey. Overall I will be back and love my new lashes!!

Their cancellation policy makes sense until you see how unflexible they are in extenuating circumstances. I've never had a business be so punitive charging 100% for a canceled service. I tried to reason with them regarding the nature of the booking and need to cancel or reschedule. My daughter has been late 10 minutes for a previous appointment, called ahead about it. Apparently this was all they could forgive and counted it as a cancellation. Another appointment my daughter was rescheduled by the salon last minute due to salon's need to reschedule and my daughter was was understanding. Now we have been charged a cancellation fee for something I tried to reasonably work out with them. Cancellation fee for a first time customer- my second daughter is 100% cost of service. They could not value our business enough to come to an amicable resolution. I will not go back. Which is too bad because we had liked the cuts enough to begin to schedule my other daughters. Typically I leave only positive reviews for businesses or no reviews at all.

I booked online like I always do, booked with a new stylist since mine isn't there anymore. I go to my appointment and no one is there. I call get a voicemail, leave a message. Check the app to make sure I have date and time right, I do. Somehow the new stylist booked under the Golden Child's name- ( we normally go there for facials when he visits) , I call back and the owner Michelle answers, she immediately said that the stylist must of had an emergency to cancel, then texts me to tell me I canceled it, which I didn't. She originally said " I'll give you something for the inconvenience" and then said " I'll have to call you back once I talk to the stylist, I said "Okay, I guess I'll head back to work " and she sarcastically says" have a good day " never calls me back and I get a generic response from her. All the negative Yelp reviews are in reference to her- Michelle- the owner- lack of professionalism, organization , scheduling and communication issues . I can see why the turnover at her place of business is so high. Unfortunate for those that work for her and the clients who have to deal with her due to issues with her staff. The customer DOES not matter to her.
