The only positive here is that the employees were nice. The outside looks a lot nicer than the inside. If you don't get gel nail polish, you pick off the wall, which I hate because I'm indecisive so I like to look at the colors while they work in my feet. I wasn't asked what kind of pedicure, so not sure if there are options, but it was basic at best. The biggest issue that will keep me from EVER going here again: sanitation. I was pretty sure the instruments didn't come out of a sanitary package, and I confirmed when I watched the technician pull up to the next person and use the exact same tools on them that they used on me. So if you like your foot fungus and sharing bacteria, it was $32 plus tip for a pedicure. But I'll gladly pay more to not share toe jam with the next person. So disgusting!! read more

Not the best. I've gone a few times trying to give it a chance when my normal nail tech is unavailable elsewhere but each time it's not good. Manicure is thick (acrylic) and not flattering. The pedicure had me watching the entire time nervously because they were being so rough and had even cut me. There's so many things they can't do from pictures as examples and the cost is higher than it should be considering the lack of design options. Every little thing is an up charge it seems. So I made it in by day 12 and told Ashley what happened. I just wanted to start over with new dip, fully intending on paying. I just thought they'd want to know what happened. They nail technician proceeded to tell me my nails looked over two, more like three weeks old. I told her they certainly weren't even to the 2 week mark. She kept arguing with me about this. She then proceeded to tell me that it must have been my fault from chemical cleaners. I do not use chemical cleaners and wear gloves to do my dishes. I'm not really sure why I was berated but I definitely was just looking to be acknowledged. Maybe a "thanks for bringing this to our attention". When I checked out Ashley she told me that they only guarantee their nails for one week. $45 dip manicure for one week. Previously, I was told dip lasts 2-3 weeks... I asked for square tip and I got multiple that are lopsided. * she didn't coat very carefully with each coat. I felt rushed because of the lack of care. * She did 9 coats!! NINE!! I think these nails will last a long time! Base coat, color, glitter with coat, base coat again, top coat... wow! *the gel finish looks super sparkly and pretty * price is very affordable * manicure job was well done * the salon is spacious, sleek and modern look with good dance music playing So I'm happy but I wasn't wowed. They look good but if you look at the details, they're not great. Soooo, this is a matter cedar bag review. To my pleasent surprise, a nail salon showed up in the shopping area by my home. I had been looking for a new place close to home and had high hopes of one going into the new shopping center. I really wanted this nail spot to work out. I arrived around 6:30pm on a Thursday but they went ahead and got me in. I choose my nail color, which I was happy to see that they had fresh polishes, (not like other shops I have been in the area , with old polishes that need to be changed out). The water was prepared for me and I waited in the chair until the nail tech was finish with the current client. I saw menu and thought that was the only menu they had. I asked for the deluxe pedicure, since I wasn't asked which type I wanted. The nail tech did a great job getting my nails clipped and trimmed. In the middle of my pedicure she did clean her previous clients bowl while working on my feet and use the same gloves while doing so, I wasn't so happy about that. My message was ok, not the best I have had--but it was the end of the day and she told me that they had been busy. At the end of my service I learned that my nail tech did not give me the full nail menu and their was a larger menu. I feel if I'm the client and you want my business I should be shown all the options, especially if there is a more expensive option. I may give them another try, but I wasn't really happy about not being given full options and the cleaning of the other pedicure chair during my visit. I visited Polish on a Monday as a walk in. I decided to try the new spot which is convenient to shopping and fairly close to where I live. I was immediately greeted and provided with a tub of perfectly heated water. The nail tech was with me almost immediately. I upgraded to a deluxe pedicure with a scent that I chose. There was an uncharge for both the deluxe, which I expected, but it was not clear that there was an upcharge for choosing the scent. When all was said and done, my gel pedicure was around $60. The experience was good and the nail tech did a good job. I would return but would be more careful about what each item I am being offered costs. While I was there, I also was told you can make an appointment which for me is a huge plus. I will make an appointment next time I go in because it is unlikely that I would be going in mid-day through the week unless I had another day off. read more

Have been here about 3 times and spent close to $100 every time. Pretty expensive for mediocre work at best. Anyways, I called ahead and had an appointment since I know the weekends get busy. When I showed up, they had me waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time for a new set. Now short on time and having an hour to get this done, I made sure to show the tech a picture of what I wanted and asked if she could do it in under an hour. If not, I would gladly reschedule for another day. It wasn't anything crazy, picture below (clear acrylic with a thin white French tip). They said they wouldn't have time for a new set but if I did a rebase instead, it could be done in time. I was reluctant but decided to trust them. I said if you think it will be okay and it will look like the picture, let's do it. After an hour, pictured below is what I got. And they were charging me $60.00 for this mess. You can see the line where the old acrylic and new didn't mix and I wasn't able to get the thin line cause of my nail undergrowth which wouldn't have been an issue with a new set. The polish didn't even cover my nail on some fingers. I asked for a manager politely and waited until he was done with another customer. I expressed I wasn't happy with my nails and the issues I mentioned above. His response was well that's common for the acrylic not to mix well and they did the rebase at my request because I was short on time (like this was my fault). So basically they knew about the acrylic problem, rushed it, and still did my nails anyways despite me telling them I could reschedule. I didn't feel like arguing and the manager wouldn't even let me talk, he kept cutting me off and getting defensive. He finally just offered to put some pink polish over the top "free of charge." Gel pedi was uneven. Toes on right we're filed crooked and the left ones were cut down to the quick and in a round shape- I said I prefer square, but now they are too short to correct . Gel dipped nails were worse, very thick and way wider than my nail beds!! Friends and family call them Frankenstein nails because they are Wide and thick and unnatural. I didn't even get a hand massage and the foot massage was awful. I left with polish allover my hands and was assured it would come off , it stayed on for 2 plus days of vigorous washing. I have been going here since it first opened. Tammie is amazing. My family and I go once a month for manicures and pedicures. The Ultimate Pedicure is a must try with many different scents. The hot rock treatment is an extra bonus. Collagen socks and gloves soothes soothes the skin. Prices are comparable to other businesses, if not better. There is a slight wait time because business is booming. But wait! My polish lasts for weeks. It doesn't chip, and it is nail biter proof. I just went in and only had time to take off my dip and the woman who was working on my nails was obviously annoyed that I was not redipping my nails. She then had another girl finish my removal and then I was charged $11 just for removing the dip. Over priced and definitely not a way to get repeat clients of recommendations. I've been going to Polish for a year now and I absolutely love it! I usually see Tom, he is attentive, pays attention to detail and he makes sure I'm happy with how my nails look before leaving. I like that when all the employees are talking and laughing he (or any one else I've seen) will tell me what they are saying or laughing at. My mom who uses a walker also gets her nails done here and they are very accommodating to her. They even go as far as bringing a bowl of water to wash her hands so she doesn't have to get up. Awful experience. I had an appointment with a friend. They started my manicure and never set up her pedicure the whole time. Once my nails were done they finally asked if she was ready so she obviously declined. The woman who did my manicure cut up my cuticles, missed areas of my nail with paint even after I pointed it out and got polish all over my hands and never cleaned it out.
