I truly enjoyed my experience here while getting my nails done. The conversations were lovely, and the overall atmosphere made the visit even more enjoyable. They do an amazing job with so much patience and attention to detail. So far, I've worked with Nathan and Jimmy (I believe that's his name--he's the youngest one), and both have been excellent. They really take their time to make sure everything looks perfect, and I never feel rushed. The salon itself is aesthetically beautiful--I absolutely love the pink décor and the cherry blossom tree. It creates such a soothing, calming, and clean environment. The staff is professional, respectful, and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and vary depending on the service. My first visit, I got Gel X nails, and on my second visit, I tried dip nails. Both sets were very pretty, demure, and in natural tones--exactly what I wanted. Does not honor appointments! Booked a wax for 5pm 3 days in advance. Arrived at 5, told to wait "a few minutes" , after 20 minutes another tech showed up, but the took the walk-for nails before me. I get a simple polish change for a very reasonable price. I have never had to wait long. I am very satisfied with the quality.

Not worth the time or money. Stopped in for a regular pedicure during my lunch hour and although the service was complete within 35 min, it cost more and was less thorough than other salons I frequent. The nail tech was not friendly and seemed to speed through the process, no extra attention to any step, but handed me a menu to ask if I wanted deluxe services starting at $48.00. I had to call out for her to more completely pumice my feet after a quick once-over. She applied lotion only to my calves so that she wouldn't have to use polish remover on my toes before doing the nail polish, so low-end to skip steps. The polish was done neatly but with maybe 1 1/2 coats to save time or product, who knows? I heard the woman who answers the phones hang up on callers saying "Hello? No owner not here thank you." My advice don't choose this place for convenience, stick with your tried and true salons. read more

Came for a mini bridal party. I got a mani for $24 and my aunt got simple nail polish for $10. Total of $34 plus some change. They greeted us with water and quickly got to our sessions. Worst salon in Albuquerque. It doesn't even deserve a one star rating. I wish there was a negative star rating system. If you plan on going here, you might as well throw your money in the garbage before you leave your house because that's what you'll get. If you decide to get a service here you will not get what you paid for and you will have to have pay someone else to fix their mistakes. Additionally, you will not get all of the services you paid for either. I spent almost $300 on the deluxe most expensive pedicure for them to completely almost eliminate my nail fully, they cut them so short that my skin was covering my nails. I was supposed to receive a hand Massage with the package I paid for and I did not receive that. When it was time to get my nails done, I had asked if they can clean under my nails before putting the acrylic and they got upset and were very rude to me and said that they did not clean under the Nails before putting acrylic or at all. I was took back because everywhere I've ever gone always cleans under the nails. So you can now see the dirt under my nails in my acrylic because they didn't clean it . Really liked this nail salon. Kim and Damon were very efficient. The salon was very clean, including plastic covers for pedicure- a must for me to feel comfortable since tbey are disposable. Temperatures taken upon arrival and all staff wore masks. Loved the ambiance - Very relaxing. Yankee and Linda are so good here! The salon is nicely decorated and super clean. It doesn't have a TV which sometimes I love (because noise) but sometimes I wish there was one because you can't look at your phone when you are getting a manicure. Don't let that convince you not to go to Eastern nails though. They're really good. They don't do acrylics anymore so it's not stinky and won't give you a headache which is so nice. They do a good job and don't charge you extra to remove your current mani/pedi if you're getting a mani/pedi service. I've seen other salons do this and I am not a fan! read more

I went to eastern for a few dips. They assured me it would not damage my nails. After the 4th dip I had it left off and had a regular manicure. No massage or lotion. $44 to remove dip and do a regular mani that did not include a massage or lotion. My nails were so soft from all the drilling they did to remove the dip that they are now split down into the nail bed, soft, and in awful condition. I had to cut them as low as I could go. I cannot shape them yet because the nail is removed and split in the nail bed. Very painful. read more

The salon itself is nice, they use liners in the tubs and had partitions available to separate customers. My was my nail tech and she was great. Super gentle and took her time. I was a little bummed that they don't do SNS on toes (which is why I knocked off a star) I really prefer that as it lasts much longer, but I was fine with the gel. They have a ton of colors to choose from for both dip powder and gel. I settled on #708 She did a good job with the gel polish and made sure I liked it before she continued as the polish was a bit sheer (which I liked for a more natural look). This nail salon has potential and maybe I caught them on an "off" day but this was the worst pedicure/manicure= $70 I have ever wasted money on. I removed the nail polish when I returned home. I was hopeful because the place is gorgeous but a $38 pedicure better be amazing and it just wasn't. I had to ask the gentleman to pumice my feet and the nail polish application was as if my 9 yr old son had applied it- my husband couldn't believe I actually paid for it which is bad because he doesn't pay attention to detail. My hands, I typically just like a clean up and my cuticles look worse today. First off they are very rude about walk in clients and when they do take you they rush to get out out and the end result isn't worth it. I've been going to the one on Eubank salon but was again made to feel like an inconvenience. I have a busy schedule so walk ins work best with my schedule. I got there early in the morning to ensure I wasn't in the way and it took about an hour to do my toes and hands (I even requested a relaxing pedicure that should have take time). To end they told me at the end of my visit it was cash only. No where is it posted that it's cash only but she was even more upset when I informed her I only had a card. I understand if I was in the wrong and I'm usually okay with letting things go but this place needed to have a real review. I got my nails done over the weekend. I called to book an appointment, showed up 5 minutes early and still waiting passed my appointment time because they didn't have anyone else to do acrylic. Once in the chair to get my nails done the nail tech was working on my nails in such a fast speed that I was worried she was gonna cut me when using the drill to the highest speed. My nails look terrible!!! I'm so unhappy with them and will NEVER come to this nail salon again!! I paid over $80 for nails that I could have done better. A kid who looked about 17 gave me the worse pedicure I've had ever in 25years. He barely worked on my feet's heels & calluses (my biggest need). I came here today based on the great reviews online. Not sure if my experience was the norm but there was a lot I did not enjoy about this nail salon, the most important one being my nail results. I made an appointment, given it was fairly last minute. When I arrived they seemed very bothered by me even though there was only one other customer and 3-4 employees. I wanted a manicure and pedicure so picked my color and sat in the pedi chair. I was handed a price list for upgrades to my pedicure and asked which one I wanted. Chose a more pricey option due to lack of a base pedi option. My pedicure was average I guess but someone else came to do my manicure while my pedicure was happening and both employees seemed frustrated by me being unable to keep up with lifting which foot and turning which hand consecutively. Both asked which color I wanted but neither understood or cared what I was asking for. I wanted navy nails with pink flowers to coordinate with my bridal shower this weekend. My fingernails are purple and my toes are black. Neither have pink/flowers on them.
