Eastern Spa And Nails - Gel builder nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

It's hard to find a good nail place. I came here because Yelp said there were good reviews. I went on a Sunday. It was packed. They knew I had an appointment. They still let walk-ins go before me. They sat me in a dirty chair, but it was not as dirty as the one they sat a little girl in next to me. They rushed the toes then tried to cash out. I said I had a toe and nail appointment. The woman at the first seat, who was rushing everyone around, took me. She LOBED bio-gel on me, then drilled 99% of it off to get a regular nail, then rushed through the paint- the nails came out nice, and I said "I wonder what kind of work you would produce if you were not so rushed." Also, had my Apple ear buds in the whole to translating what they were saying and it was exactly like the movies-- talking trash about customers, joking with each other, and talking about who they needed to focus on and who could be rushed. I think it's important the staff know that new technology helps us now understand what they are saying. One really important thing- they do dips and the girl to my right had cut her clients cuticle and still dipped. That dip is then shared. That is a huge health hazard. I don't recommend anyone get dips ever because of stuff like this. But from my own hand gel and pedi catastrophe-- it's on par. Never again. 0/10- run. read more

I truly enjoyed my experience here while getting my nails done. The conversations were lovely, and the overall atmosphere made the visit even more enjoyable. They do an amazing job with so much patience and attention to detail. So far, I've worked with Nathan and Jimmy (I believe that's his name--he's the youngest one), and both have been excellent. They really take their time to make sure everything looks perfect, and I never feel rushed. The salon itself is aesthetically beautiful--I absolutely love the pink décor and the cherry blossom tree. It creates such a soothing, calming, and clean environment. The staff is professional, respectful, and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and vary depending on the service. My first visit, I got Gel X nails, and on my second visit, I tried dip nails. Both sets were very pretty, demure, and in natural tones--exactly what I wanted. They also offer a wide variety of nail colors to choose from, as well as services like eyelashes, eyebrows, and waxing. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back! read more

This nail salon is right by my house so I give it the benefit of the doubt every time I go in, but each time i am very regretful. This last time I actually had to leave out of frustration and I don't think I will be going back. One time I went in the nail tech was very rushed and, as a result, did an awful job with the builder gel application (it fell off within a few days when it is supposed to stay on for 2 weeks). The artwork was also not worth the $$. For $100+ manicure I would expect the artwork to be clean or at the nail tech to be open for suggestions.... But I had neither. When the nail tech finished with the art it was very sloppy and then when I chose 1 nail to fix (when they all needed fixing) she gave me attitude and reluctantly redid it... it wasn't much better. Then at the end of the appointment she specifically asked me for a cash tip rather than one on credit card, which isn't a big deal, but after the entire experience felt rude and presumptuous. This last time, giving Eastern Nails the benefit of the doubt again, I had an appointment at 10am. I arrived at 10am... wasn't escorted to the pedicure chair until 10:30am and waited 10 more minutes until I walked out. As a person that goes here regularly I can say that they definitely don't honor appointments.. there are no chairs saved for you when you make an appointment and their customer service is unapologetic. The moment that made up my mind to finally walk out of there (besides the 40 minute wait time past my appointment) was when they helped a customer that only just walked in before me. read more

I love my nails, Edney did a great job! Calming atmosphere as well. Would definitely recommend

Does not honor appointments! Booked a wax for 5pm 3 days in advance. Arrived at 5, told to wait "a few minutes" , after 20 minutes another tech showed up, but the took the walk-for nails before me. Very unprofessional and disrespectful and disappointing. Just walk-in and wait, don't waste time booking an appointment. read more

I found my nail place! It is quiet, clean, and they got us in early before our appt time. My pedicure was amazing and they have my little one strawberry lemonadw in a cute little glass which she loved! The nail art is beautiful and I completely recommend them! read more

While the service was fine and the provider very nice and respectful, the price should have reflected perfect polish and squeaky clean nails. It did not. Won't spend almost a hundred for a mediocre service again. read more

I went in and got a full nail set done. Helen was amazing and very helpful. It's been quite some time since I've had my nails done and it was a very pleasant experience. Everyone inside the salon was very nice. Highly recommended. I'm looking forward to going back. read more

Eastern Spa And Nails - Full nail set - Nail Salons Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Not worth the time or money. Stopped in for a regular pedicure during my lunch hour and although the service was complete within 35 min, it cost more and was less thorough than other salons I frequent. The nail tech was not friendly and seemed to speed through the process, no extra attention to any step, but handed me a menu to ask if I wanted deluxe services starting at $48.00. I had to call out for her to more completely pumice my feet after a quick once-over. She applied lotion only to my calves so that she wouldn't have to use polish remover on my toes before doing the nail polish, so low-end to skip steps. The polish was done neatly but with maybe 1 1/2 coats to save time or product, who knows? I heard the woman who answers the phones hang up on callers saying "Hello? No owner not here thank you." My advice don't choose this place for convenience, stick with your tried and true salons. read more

I get a simple polish change for a very reasonable price. I have never had to wait long. I am very satisfied with the quality.

Hanna is the best! I wish I knew about this place previously. Amazing! Great customer service! I called for an appointment and they accommodated me the same day. When I showed up they took me right back. Both the pedicure and gel manicure was exactly what I wanted.....and exactly what I asked for. Sophisticated yet sparkly for Christmas! Positive atmosphere, kind and gentle service, and the prices were wonderful! read more

Came for a mini bridal party. I got a mani for $24 and my aunt got simple nail polish for $10. Total of $34 plus some change. They greeted us with water and quickly got to our sessions. The other ladies got both mani/pedis which took about an hour and 30 mins. Nice seating with massage chairs. Nice staff. Decent waiting area. Pretty waterfall decoration. Tip: if you come here often get a punch card and get $3 off your 6th visit! read more

Really liked this nail salon. Kim and Damon were very efficient. The salon was very clean, including plastic covers for pedicure- a must for me to feel comfortable since tbey are disposable. Temperatures taken upon arrival and all staff wore masks. Loved the ambiance - Very relaxing. I accidentally left my ring there and Kim called me to let me know so we could go pick it up- which I really appreciated. Great experience! read more

I got refused service because apparently they won't take off other nail salons gel if you didn't get it done at Their nail salon?????? That is absolutely ridiculous, and the first time I've ever heard of such a thing. They have been rude anytime I've ever been in, I don't know why I keep trying. I definitely don't recommend this business. read more

Worst salon in Albuquerque. It doesn't even deserve a one star rating. I wish there was a negative star rating system. If you plan on going here, you might as well throw your money in the garbage before you leave your house because that's what you'll get. If you decide to get a service here you will not get what you paid for and you will have to have pay someone else to fix their mistakes. Additionally, you will not get all of the services you paid for either. I spent almost $300 on the deluxe most expensive pedicure for them to completely almost eliminate my nail fully, they cut them so short that my skin was covering my nails. I was supposed to receive a hand Massage with the package I paid for and I did not receive that. When it was time to get my nails done, I had asked if they can clean under my nails before putting the acrylic and they got upset and were very rude to me and said that they did not clean under the Nails before putting acrylic or at all. I was took back because everywhere I've ever gone always cleans under the nails. So you can now see the dirt under my nails in my acrylic because they didn't clean it . They also have Very rude employees! I am Never going back again! & to top it all off they left so much acrylic on my actual fingers and I'm still picking it off. Just look at the pictures I posted. You will see for yourself read more

Yankee and Linda are so good here! The salon is nicely decorated and super clean. It doesn't have a TV which sometimes I love (because noise) but sometimes I wish there was one because you can't look at your phone when you are getting a manicure. Don't let that convince you not to go to Eastern nails though. They're really good. They don't do acrylics anymore so it's not stinky and won't give you a headache which is so nice. They do a good job and don't charge you extra to remove your current mani/pedi if you're getting a mani/pedi service. I've seen other salons do this and I am not a fan! read more

Just a visiting tourist but wanted to treat myself to a pedicure and found this place online. I asked for the deluxe $40 pedicure from the menu. It was about a 45 minute ordeal. The nail tech that I had was wonderful. Nothing but good things to say about the experience. Until I got to the front to check out.. then my $40 pedicure became $42, plus a credit card fee of $5- so $47 for a $40 pedicure came as a surprise. read more

So far so good! Girls are very attentive. I always call for a same day appointment and they always have a spot. One thing that I appreciate about this nail salon is that the atmosphere is tranquil and passive. Ah, and their color collection is infinite! read more

My friend and I stopped in for a Pedicure. We were greeted immediately and asked to wash our hands prior to being seated due to Covid safety. We proceeded to pick our nail polish color and were seated in fully functional massage chairs. We opted not to have any of the deluxe pedicure options that were handed to us on a menu. I am very happy with the service that was provided and will definitely go back. A 8% discount is offered if you pay with cash. read more

Nice environment and convenient hours. Fine pedicure But Gel manicure lasted less than a week with peeling up from base of nail and line crack at top of a nail. Usually you should get at least two weeks. Different manicure tech than pedicure tech with different quality of outcome. read more

First time at this nail salon, actually my first time at a salon since moving to ABQ. I settled on this place based on reviews. I was a walk-in, and they were able to see me right away. The salon itself is nice, they use liners in the tubs and had partitions available to separate customers. My was my nail tech and she was great. Super gentle and took her time. I was a little bummed that they don't do SNS on toes (which is why I knocked off a star) I really prefer that as it lasts much longer, but I was fine with the gel. They have a ton of colors to choose from for both dip powder and gel. I settled on #708 She did a good job with the gel polish and made sure I liked it before she continued as the polish was a bit sheer (which I liked for a more natural look). Overall, it was a pleasant experience, would go back again! Thanks, My. read more

I went to eastern for a few dips. They assured me it would not damage my nails. After the 4th dip I had it left off and had a regular manicure. No massage or lotion. $44 to remove dip and do a regular mani that did not include a massage or lotion. My nails were so soft from all the drilling they did to remove the dip that they are now split down into the nail bed, soft, and in awful condition. I had to cut them as low as I could go. I cannot shape them yet because the nail is removed and split in the nail bed. Very painful. read more

This nail salon has potential and maybe I caught them on an "off" day but this was the worst pedicure/manicure= $70 I have ever wasted money on. I removed the nail polish when I returned home. I was hopeful because the place is gorgeous but a $38 pedicure better be amazing and it just wasn't. I had to ask the gentleman to pumice my feet and the nail polish application was as if my 9 yr old son had applied it- my husband couldn't believe I actually paid for it which is bad because he doesn't pay attention to detail. My hands, I typically just like a clean up and my cuticles look worse today. Maybe they will work through their kinks but as for now there is no justification to charging that amount for low to mediocre services in this area. read more

Service was rushed, Kayla the nail tech was rude. I asked if she could clean up the polish on the sides of my nails and she did one, then rolled her eyes and walked off. I paid on my card then she said, "Leave how much tip on card?" . I was going to get a pedicure there but ended up just leaving. read more

I first went in to get SNS with extension, I decided on color but luckily Suzy informed me that what I wanted would not come out too good with SNS powder so she said acrylic would be better. Due to her recommendation and Kayla's amazing work I am 100% satisfied with my nails. I will definitely be coming back, Kayla was very nice answered all the questions I had. I recommend you check it out, they took their time with the work not like other places rushing to keep seats filled. read more

First off they are very rude about walk in clients and when they do take you they rush to get out out and the end result isn't worth it. I've been going to the one on Eubank salon but was again made to feel like an inconvenience. I have a busy schedule so walk ins work best with my schedule. I got there early in the morning to ensure I wasn't in the way and it took about an hour to do my toes and hands (I even requested a relaxing pedicure that should have take time). To end they told me at the end of my visit it was cash only. No where is it posted that it's cash only but she was even more upset when I informed her I only had a card. I understand if I was in the wrong and I'm usually okay with letting things go but this place needed to have a real review. I would NOT recommend based on their customer service and the quality of their products. read more

On the higher end $$ for a mani/pedi. A basic one begins at $38 plus tax. They do have a beautiful layout with all new machines and tools, but are not staffed well enough. I waited over 25 minutes for them to start a pedi as a walk in and someone after me waited as long with an appointment. They have a good music selection and friendly staff, but more is left to be desired when justifying a premium price. I expect premium service. read more

The beauty of the salon itself is breathtaking. Very clean with a quiet but friendly staff. The color selection is awesome as well. The only reason this is not a five star is because of a ripple flaw in my powder nails. I ran out of time to get it fixed so hopefully the next time I go in this can be fixed. My manicure looked nice. I am definitely going back. Keep an eye out for my next review! read more

Nikki was great, I showed her a reference photo of the design I wanted and she matched it exactly! Highly recommended.

I got my nails done over the weekend. I called to book an appointment, showed up 5 minutes early and still waiting passed my appointment time because they didn't have anyone else to do acrylic. Once in the chair to get my nails done the nail tech was working on my nails in such a fast speed that I was worried she was gonna cut me when using the drill to the highest speed. My nails look terrible!!! I'm so unhappy with them and will NEVER come to this nail salon again!! I paid over $80 for nails that I could have done better. This service doesn't even deserve a 1 star!! read more

This was the third time that I went always giving them the benefit of the doubt. This will be the last time I go to this place. When I go I feel like it is an inconvenience for the staff to do my nails. This time I went for a pedicure and my heels are still rough. I have never been dissatisfied with a nail salon as I am with this place. And straight robbery the prices are ridiculous for the treatment that I experienced. One of the best pedicures I have ever had. Make sure they know which option you want before they start...we were not clear enough on what we wanted so they started with the basic package. The gel polish was worth the extra, it lasts a long time and looks great! They were super friendly and the spa itself was very clean. They have a large selection of polish colors and types of pedicures/manicures. Will make this my go-to spot for a weekend pedi here in ABQ. read more
