We were asked in the middle of our feet soak, to get up and choose our nail polish, after being asked to sit and soak.. 15 mins in, and we have to pull out and go look for colors. After trying to match my toe mail color to my gel polish, this guy becomes exasperated and all of a sudden they have a matching color. It was a HORRIBLE experience today, and this is it for me. They are good until they are not. We were 3 all together, made an appointment a day prior, and even with all the arrangement ahead of time, things were chaotic. The man doing my nails mixed black and white and continued to paint my nails with the same polish even thought it was mixed Then when i asked him to fix it he proceeded to try and tell me "he would not be doing it again" . He made the paint on my nails uneven and some of it unpainted . He got nail polish all over me and never cleaned it up. He yelled at me because i was "moving" while the whole time i was still and he was shaking therefore making my hand move as he held it. My nails look more botched then when a nine year old paints they're fingers . They charge me $70 for nails that look absolutely awful . They are too chunky he didn't shave them down at all it's uneven and overall my worst experience at a nail salon. read more

So I decided to try this place on a whim a few weeks back. The outside is pretty plain but insife is very chic and clean. I got a full set and a pedicure. The full set lasted me almost 2.5 weels before I broke a nail. That is amazing for me! Im very rough and hands on at work and outside. They even repaired my broken nail for free! I really recommend this nail shop. Everyone is super nice and they are quick and thorough! Will probably use them for a long time. Give them a try! read more

I get acrylic over my natural nail. Initially when I called I didn't realize I was booking with the owner Lien. Lien's work is always detail orientated. She cares about her staff and it shows. Recently went in to see Lien but she was out for vacation. I decided to book with the next available staff member. I was fortunate enough to meet "Bee". Well as my first experience/impression with this nail shop as I am in search of a new spot. I got a gel pedicure and dip powder overlay. As I sat in the seat to get my pedicure, it was cool at first, then it just got uncomfortable. The lady who was doing my nails was literally hovering over me to pick a dip color while mid pedicure, which I had to ask her to backup (politely)... Once I finally got my nails done they ring my bill subtotal $76.14 TOTAL $101.60!!! SOOO since when do you pay $25.64 in tax??? Make it make sense?? When I attempt to question the charge, the man who was ringing me up, reminded of what services I had..Well my issue was the tax, not what I was charged for services I had received..DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF!!! read more

The worst nail experience and customer service ever! That it left me shocked and speachless! It was my first time going to the salon since it near my house. I came in, it wasn't busy morning just one person doing nails. Nobody greeted me, I was standing until a lady who was working on someone's hands yelled across the room covered by loud the sound "What do you want?" When I called before to book. I waited for 45 minutes outside in the cold and no one did care! They sent me away cause the the woman who suppose to do the nails was no longer available by that time but in 2 hours or so... I only come here for an eyebrow waxing and I consistently have positive results. I am typically in and out quickly which is super important. The staff is friendly enough but they seem to have their "regulars" who get treated noticeably different/better. I've seen some average/poor reviews about this place and I have to say-- I think people are as nice as you treat them.... I've seen women come in here acting ABOVE the HELP, so to speak, and those are the people I've seen treat staff poorly. The staff here is polite, and respectful, there is a language barrier with some staff but they are always as polite as you are to them. The absolute worst. why schedule an appointment when you're still going to have to wait longer than a half an hour to get your pedicure? Also got a manicure and the polish job they did was terrible, it doesn't even go to the edges of the nails. And then they made some poor girl cry because they were raising their voice at her because they didn't understand what she wanted. Even though I watched her show them pictures. Its the only good nail place I've found here in Rio Rancho. I've gone there to get my nails done for a while but now they've become kind of rude. They rush my nails when someone new comes in. I went to get my eyebrows done last week. When i asked for a clean up they shaped my eyebrows anyway and made them very small and thin. They even waxed part of the front of my eyebrows. I recommend going there when absolutely no one is there and in the morining so you wont get some of the attitude i get. read more

I went to Pro Nails this AM, first one in, for manicure and pedicure, no polish. Worst experience ever!! Pedicure was minimal and tips of four of my fingers are bleeding where she trimmed the skin. Have never had that done with a mani before and now they are sore. Will never go back unless new management comes in. Used to go there last year repeatedly, but staff has obviously changed. I started going here simply due to distance to my house but am glad I found this place as it's wonderful! They also recently did a major renovation inside so the place is beautiful and all new chairs and equipment. They've always taken care of me and done an excellent job so this improvement is the icing on the cake. I went in for a regular manicure. I was seated and my technician brought her tools and started working on my nails. She didn't let my hand soak for more than sixty seconds before applying cuticle remover and pushing my cuticle with her metal tool. My nail beds did not have time to get soft and she complained when I pulled my hand back and placed it in the water dish to rinse off some of the cuticle remover since it began to burn my skin. She then proceeded to work on my hand and cut my nail bed. She seemed not to notice the cut and kept working. She then got upset with me when I told her my nails were filed in a crooked fashion. I ended up taking the nail file and filing my nails myself. Another technician assisted me shortly thereafter, and pulled out a set of cuticle cutters from her drawer. I have no idea if the tools were stearlized properly. After my manicure I rushed home to disinfect my cut cuticle. I will not be returning to this particular establishment. read more
