I had a terrible experience there today. The only male there, who claimed to be a. manager, burnt me...and then starting cutting my nails too short. When I told him not to cut them so short, he went off on me, yelling, wnd being verbally abusive. He claimed that since my burn did not bleed, that therefore he hadn't burnt me. He then put the tool on his palm over and over. Truth is stranger than fiction. He became another person..and I got out of there as fast as I could and went to another salon to get the job finished. This place gives a SOLID pedicure. I've been here twice and each time I experienced top notch service. Very thorough and they pay attention to the details. I'm not one to leave a review but I feel I should warn others about this salons lack of care for your nails health. I usually go to a private nail tech but got my acrylic nails removed here for a special occasion. The tech soaked my nails in acetone while she did my toes and then after we finished my toes she drilled off what was left of my acrylic. She drilled my nails down so bad that they felt raw and were bending when I left. My nails burned even just washing my hands in warm water. This tech clearly has ZERO knowledge on nail health, my pedicure came out fine but please do not get soak offs here for the sake of your nails integrity. My fingers are still recovering 3 weeks later. read more

Came to Impression Nails to get a new set for my sisters baby shower. I wish I would have went somewhere else. I booked an appointment with Abby, I went to her because she does decent art work. My nails were not shaped correctly, you can see through the nail polish, the art work came out terrible and my white nail turned purple and bubbled with spots. I'm not sure if the powder was expired or something but I don't recommend this place to anyone. Very rushed work for something I wanted to look nice. Not impressed and not returning here again. Got my eyebrows done. No complaints. They took me quickly as a walk-in. A cute canine also works there. I do feel bad for the people that work there though because the ventilation is really not good. They need to do something to move the air more and get fresh air in the building. I don't feel that it's safe fume levels for the people that work there or really the clients. Had a girls nail Manicure/Pedicure Spa Day here. It was Saturday, very busy and the wait time was surprisingly less than 10 minutes to accommodate a walk in of 4 people at the same time. The massage chairs were operable, comfortable and the tools, overall facility was clean. My mood changing gel pedicure Came out EXCELLENT. However, there was a slight hiccup with the application of the gel polish for the manicure. I didn't have time to redo it but there were eager to fix it later on and it came out great. Came to impression on the recommendation of a beauty school graduate. She assured me it was a very clean studio and they are an amazing nail salon. impression left a lot to be desired. I only got a pedicure and I am so bummed. The pedicure started out fine but the tool that were used were in a dirty caddy and were very obviously not sanitized as she walked over from one pedicure to mine without changing or cleaning the tools. I never feel comfortable speaking up in salons but I should have. Toward the end of my pedicure after she finished with the gel she went back in and cut chunks of my pinky toenail off. Literally cut the edge of my toenail into my nail bed and left the broken nail still attached to my toe! I tried to fix this when I got home and it led to a bloody and really painful mess because I have a huge piece of nail missing. Skip this spot or learn to do it on your own. I could definitely see someone getting an infection from here. read more

The pedicure was decent but they smooth calluses instead of completely remove them. The dip powder on the other hand, was the worst Ive ever had in my life. The tech I had was extremely rude and seemed upset when I asked for specific things such as reshaping. Ive been doing dip for the past 6+ years and it usually lasts weeks. Here it was chipped in just 1 day. After 3-4 days they were all chipping off. Certain techs seemed better than others, but unless you make an appointment with a good tech, go elsewhere. Okay where to start... I got my acrylics done November 25th and am just now, December 17, thinking about going to get a fill in. It's been 3 weeks and my nails haven't lifted and the color didn't chip or dirty, it's AMAZING! My experience at the salon was pretty great too! I was greeted when I walked in, everyone was sweet. They have a great selection of colors too which is awesome. The only reason I'm going to get them redone again is bc my nails have grown out (obviously) and i want to change my color. These nails have been through war, In the past three weeks, I've worked on my car. Paint and everything and these nails still look amazing, I was scared when I was trying to take the paint off my nails the color would go too but it didn't budge. Finding a salon that has actual SNS for a good price is hard in this city! I tried impressions today and waited less than 5 minutes to be seated before getting started. They use the wrap technique to soak off previous nails, which I appreciate so my entire finger tips aren't dried out from acetone. (BTW you can also still use your phone with the foil on your fingers.) My tech was friendly and efficient, and did a wonderful job of keeping my nail shape after filing. There are no weird edges (that sometimes happens when filed Improperly) and the product isn't super thick on my nails which I love! read more

I read the reviews & expected a terrific salon. I was very disappointed. I was greeted when I walked in & asked what I wanted. I told her a dip manicure. She didn't say anything, just walked away. A few minutes later a sullen-looking young man came up, said "dip powder?" & pointed to a chair. Since the tech did not talk to me I spent my first few minutes looking around. The place was dirty & looked as if it hadn't been swept or cleaned in days. The tech appeared to be less than interested in what he was doing. He just brushed the nail dust on the floor instead of having a towel or paper towel on his station. His bottles were dirty & he took nail clippers out of what I guess was supposed to be a sterilizer, but was just a metal box. No sterilizing here. He kept looking around at what others were doing or texting on his phone. He finally asked what color I wanted. I said I don't know, so he got the color samples, plopped them down next to me & walked away. When he returned he was still texting away. He made 2 of my nails too pointed & did remedy that. But he did not smooth out the edges or remove the excess product under my nails. He had to redo one nail so he just added extra powder so that nail is darker than the others. For the price they charge I would expect at least some lotion at the end & a smile & thank you. Got none of that. I went to Wal-Mart to buy some files to smooth out the edges. I would not recommend this salon. The one star is for the adorable little girl associated with the salon who was outside. She did say goodbye & have a nice evening. read more

Such a great salon! Needing a pedicure in a time crunch I stopped at the closest place near me and found this gem. I was treated very nicely by the staff when I walked in and was quickly sat down to start on my nails. The woman who took care of me was not only very sweet but also very attentive, which seems like the case with all the workers. My experience here was bad. The girl who did my nails was terribly rude and my nails looked AWFUL! It took so long that I was desperate to leave when she finished, so I didn't say anything about the quality of the work. When I got home my partner commented on how uneven they looked. Within a couple of days they began cracking and chipping! They were gel dip and should not have been breaking that quickly. It was very strange. Amazing experience at this salon! I came to get a pedicure with gel already on. They took the time to soak the polish without ripping it off like other salons. They have different options for a more luxurious experience but I chose the classic which was really nice on its own. They massaged my legs & feet with a scrub & hot stones then wrapped a hot steamed towel around my legs. The man who did my pedicure was professional & really nice. I hate to give a poor review, but I am disappointed and was physically hurt at this salon. Very little English is spoken here. I got the dipped acrylic nails. She ground on my skin around my nail three times with her electric grinder, which is very hurtful. When she finished, I would say the final outcome was just okay. There was a divot in one of my nails, instead of being smooth. The white tips are too big for the size of my fingers. I did not tip her, for obvious reasons. I really dislike leaving bad reviews but this place was just...bad. I waited 45 minutes even though I made an appointment and then it took another 45 minutes to get just a regular manicure. The space itself was dirty, when I sat down, the technician just brushed all the nail dust and clippings to the floor. She also used an old set of tools. No sanitation procedures anywhere. Came across this place while traveling out of state in ABQ recently. Great facility-very clean and well laid out. Had my nails done by Bee, one of the owners. He did SUCH a great job. Needed a new full set and he removed what I had easily, painlessly, and quickly. They had tons of finishes and polishes that most places don't have-textures, chromes, mattes, etc. I had a unicorn chrome finish done that looks fantastic! I came here one day after work to get a fill. It was 20 minutes before closing. A older man did my nails and he was very attentive, kept asking if I was okay, he was super sweet. I picked a gel color and I would have to say that I was very upset with his polishing job. It was streaks and bubbles all through the paint. I let them know that I was not happy with the job and the girl offered to re paint them, however it was late and I was tired and ready to go home. She would have had to drill it off and re paint it. The manager said that I could come back any time and they would repaint it. I just dealt with it but it wasnt that bad after it settled. Its been 3.5 weeks and my nails have barely grown out so they are awesome for that, just hate that I had small cuts on my cuticles. Overall my experience was okay here. read more

This place does impress! E did my nails today and she was so good! I got a standard pedicure which is the obvious nail shaping, hot water and callus scrub, but they also did a minty exfoliant scrub, warm towels, leg massage AND hot stones on the arch of the feet! I've never had a standard pedi include all of these amazing perks. They take their time and don't rush through your service. I walked in and was seated right away. I was also impressed by how sanitary everything was. I received a nail tools packet to keep that she used on me and she changed the plastic in the water foot bath after each use. I walked in here hoping they could fix the hideous work that I got at a nail salon in Santa Fe. Everyone was so nice and made my nails look so lovely. I'll never come here again. My mother and I got cheaply done mani pedis. I chose the mood changing gel on my finger nails (no acrylic). She left chunks of crap on my nails and went over it to try to cover it up. My index finger has streaks. The lady that did my pedicure had me walking barefoot and without toe separators. The woman who did my manicure was rough and didn't speak any English. Never again. 81$ for a cheap manicure and pedicure. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!! read more

She gave me two options for my nails when I asked her what the other was she made me feel very incompetent. Honestly was not totally impressed with this salon. The nail tech that removed my acrylics was not very friendly and she made all of my nails extremely brittle when she was filing the acrylics down. The paint job was alright but since my nails were so thin they ended up breaking the very next day. I'm not saying that the service i received reflects all of the other nail techs at this establishment. I was just very disappointed with how this individual cared for my nails :/ read more
