DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! The owner of this place talked to me SO disrespectfully after me just simply asking if he could perform something similar to the picture I sent. He told me "hell no in your dreams" and brought up me needing to get a "sugar daddy" entailing I won't be able to afford the total price. After I stood up for myself being talked down on so much, he did not even offer anything to make me feel better for the disrespect and disservice. I will post receipts. Not to mention the multiple times he disrespected women (talking about bodies) and would offer me alcohol during my appointments when no one else would be in the salon. On a Friday afternoon I called this nail salon and asked if they took walk-ins. To my surprise, they said yes. I told them i was basically on the other side of the city and it would take me roughly 23-30 minutes to get there with traffic. When i got there, it was completely empty and that is sad to see for a local business. Kim and another guy were so friendly from the second i walked in the door. I was offered a drink from their mini fridge, where they had a variety of beverages (bottled water, Redbull, Celsius, SB Frappes, among other drinks that i do not recall). The reason for my visit was to get a pedicure. I was asked to pick a color and Kim started getting ready the water. I was tight on money and make Kim aware of that when we asked the kind of service i wanted. She convinced me to go with the deluxe pedicure mainly because my heals were rough, really rough and needed some love and it was in my budget. I am very quiet and Kim was so friendly and chatty with me the entire time. I only wish i was better at keeping conversations going. She did an amazing job on my pedicure. Umm not to insult all other nail salons, but the language barrier has always been an issue for me. Or sometimes the workers are just plain rude. At Deluxe Nails, everyone spoke perfect English kept the conversation going the entire time and were genuinely funny people. I took my 14 year old brother, and he was laughing the entire time. He said we aren't going to get pedicures anywhere else. Which I am perfectly fine with. We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon here and our toes look so much better. I awarded them 5 stars because I do not want to get my nails done anywhere else. I can converse with the employees here, and will not have a hard time communicating something in regard to my nails. Chose this establishment based on location and Yelp ratings. My daughter and I came in for regular pedicures and gel nails. Let me tell you!!! Kim recommended powder dip instead of gel. I had never heard of dip. She told us the benefits. It didn't take much to convince us. I was just hoping the end result would be equal to or greater than gels. The atmosphere in Deluxe was extremely welcoming and felt like hanging out with friends. I walked in not knowing anyone and left feeling like I had just had drinks with the girls. The pedicures were excellent. My daughter and I had a great time. My nails......I LOVE THEM!!!! They are absolutely gorgeous. Kim did an amazing job. My daughter had similar results. Quan did such an amazing job on my nails!!! I especially appreciate that he was so gentle w my nails, which were not in the greatest shape. He assured me we'd get them looking good and not to worry. Quan didn't over file my nails or cut my cuticle (which has happened before) I was relieved and truly happy with my nails. It's important to me to be unique and do different designs and colors, on my nails. I showed Quan a picture and he far exceeded my expectations and hooked me up with a unique color combination. This business is highly suspect. They have no protective COVID equipment, a very limited color supply, and questionable sanitation. Said they've been in business 4 years but looks like they just setup shop. They only accept cash (service fee for credit cards) and even have a sign up asking for 20% minimum tip, which if you don't tip that they become rude and disrespectful. "Keri" was my technician and she was not personable all; acted like she was doing me a favor. On third appointment I called in and she told her husband who answered that she didn't feel comfortable working with me anymore which is likely due to my 18% tip. Another technician is very loud and talks constantly which makes for a very unrelaxing environment. Needless to say I will be reporting them to the NM Attorney General. read more

Quan did a fine job with my manicure and pedicure. My foot message loosened up the tension in my feet, that I did not know was even there! My feet felt 100% better! He was very personable and surprised me that he does this part time while going to nursing school. Stood in the front of the salon for 5-10 minutes before being asked if we had an appoint or what we would like. That should have been or sign to turn and run. I was trying to take my mom and my daughters for pedicures for Mother's Day... we asked for pedicures for 3 and my oldest wanted her nails done, we asked specifically if we could all be seen at the same time and be finished together, we were assured yes, many nail techs were all finishing up with their previous clients and would be with us all shortly. We all sat simultaneously, feet in water, my daughters pedicures was completely finished when my mom was half done and I was still sitting unattended. My mom was quite unhappy with her tech, who "diagnosed" my mom with foot fungus, which she doesn't have, insisted her toenails needed to be squared off, and meanwhile I'm still sitting with now cold water. We were required to pay full price for a crappy half done pedicure which had to be redone at a better salon, and full price for my young daughter. No apologies, just rudeness until we walked out the door. read more

I was referred to this salon by my neighbor on high authority. I went and very started with a pedicure. I had gel polish on toes that had to be removed. The pedicure began, I was never asked what I wanted but thought to myself it's late in the day and I guess the basic will mean I'm done earlier since I usually get the Deluxe or top tier for a pedicure. Then I go on to have my nails dipped. A great job done. I go to pay and it's $107.00. I thought how can that be. I asked how much for the pedicure and told $50.00. Now mind you the basic pedi is $25.00 on their internet pricing. Nothing about gel removal or gel polish but we all know usually $5-10.00 extra. To my surprise I was charged an extra $25,00 for gel pedi. Let me tell you the basic does not include a scrub on legs just lotion. I was appalled. Never have I ever would have thought being charged that amount. I was so bugged I went back cuz I thought maybe a misunderstanding and no. Then I called and told their prices went up due to Covid and went I quoted the internet prices the gentleman said oh well we have not updated our website. Okay it is what it is and I note to self to never go their again. If that was not enough and to add insult to injury, two days later I have three nails cracked and break. And a day after that another cracks. A good job turned out to be too thin and fragile. I'm so dissatisfied and disappointed. Again note to self not to go their again especially when I can get a great pedi elsewhere with all the bells and whistles for $50.00 that includes my gel for $5.00. I called Deluxe Nails for an appointment because of the high ratings they received on Yelp. They were very nice and set up my appointment. I was not disappointed. When I arrived, I was about two minutes early, they were ready for me. They took me to my chair, offered me water, and helped me work the massaging chair. The experience was very enjoyable for start to finish. The conversation was interesting and at times entertaining. This was the best pedicure I've ever had. My feet even days later are still smooth and soft. The nail tech took her time and ensured my feet were smooth. The only down side is they move around a lot while doing nails. I started with the one good tech, then the "deluxe" part was done by someone else, the toe flower by another person. I walked in and without a "hello" or "welcome" the lady Kim yelled out "DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT?" already sensing the rudeness I just said yes and waited 30 minutes which the wait wasn't a bother really because I could tell they were busy but when I did start to get my nails done the tech Tommy who did do my nails was rude also and did a rushed job on my nails (underneath my nails you saw large amounts of glue" I did at one point ask if he if could file one of my nails down on the side a little more and he did so with a rude response "and how long have you've been doing nails"....So I won't be back again. read more

I spent $64 on shitty ass nails. This was my first time here. My nails aren't even the same, I chose the coffin style. My nails look horrible. All the ladies and men spoke good English and were nice but the lady they put me with I couldn't understand her and she had no idea how to do my nails. After reading all the amazing reviews about this nail salon, I was so excited to get my nails done here with easy. I was graciously greeted and sat immediately with no wait, even on A Saturday. I was thrilled. A man sat down and was friendly at first until I asked him not to use the drill tool they use, he shrugged and proceed anyway.
