I checked online (Google & Yelp) for reviews of this salon and it got great reviews! I am now adding another one to the pile! It took me 3 months to get an appointment (that's when you know you're in a pandemic) for a session of live in color and a trim. The day finally arrived after much patience and waiting. I arrived at 9am on a Saturday and Heather (my stylist) greeted me cheerily. She already knew what I wanted and proceeded to just warn me that we may not get as light as I wanted since my hair color is jet black naturally. Heather was really friendly and made me feel comfortable immediately. We chatted all thru the appointment. Process was painless and it took about 3.5 hours. The results were excellent! I'm not completely blonde but the color is beautiful! I love what Heather has done with my hair! She's very good at coloring and has been doing this for awhile! I had called about a balayage a week before my appointment the girl that answered the phone was nice she booked my appointment a week later I arrived. I had the hairstylist Tiana I arrived at 10 AM sharp. I left at 3 PM with jet black hair. She was awful. She was so unprofessional and at the end when I told her I did not like it she basically told me I wasted her time. she took an inch off my hair and charged me $70 for it, I will never step foot back in this establishment ever again, which is really sad because there are some good stylist in there. I went in for a partial highlight because my hair was already bright and blond, so I just wanted to get blonde on the top of my hair. I left with a golden brown because the toner Devon used was too dark. There is no excuse for messing up the blonde like that, it takes years and money to get the right blonde. I let her know how unhappy was she offered no apology no discount or asked me to come back to get it fix, nothing. In a word: FAB. I love this place - and am so happy Tiffany, the owner, has her own salon. It's about time!! :-) I have been going to her ever since I asked someone with a totally fantastic haircut (bone straight hair doesn't lie!) who cut it. From the Highland HS area salon to Craft and now ROCOCO. Yes, you may have to wait but it will be worth it, I assure you. She is fantastic with color, short hair and long, curly and straight. What else? I was so impressed during the pandemic and still am, now that things have opened up, how meticulous ROCOCO is about temps, social distancing and spraying everything down. I'm older and Tiffany was so kind - early morning appts with no one else in the salon. She has a talented group of other stylists there and she is a great teacher. Honestly? This location is TOTALLY INCONVENIENT for lazy me, but I'd probably drive to Socorro if she had chosen to open there (thank god she didn't!). Went to Ruby and definitely one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. After she was done my hair was uneven with one side being longer than the other. She said its because I have a side part. However, the entire one side of my hair was longer. I could tell she was frustrated with me when I asked to fix it. Overall came out very dissatisfied and the layers are still not even on both sides. I had a great experience at my appointment yesterday. A little under the weather and wary of trying someplace new, I felt really great by the time I left my appointment with a great cut and color. The color needed a little adjustment, but it was done right then and there without hesitation. I really appreciated the honesty that it didn't quite turn out right, and that I didn't have to wait to fix it! The space is great and atmosphere very calming and welcoming. I can't think of a reason not to try it if you are looking for a new place. They definitely know how to use a curling iron there--just take a look at their Instagram account. This salon is Amazing! I was very impressed with how clean and professional everything/everyone was. Beautifully decorated and very serene. You feel very comfortable as you enter. I was relieved and grateful that they practice strict social distancing guidelines. Everyone wore a mask the entire time and temperatures are checked before you can be seated for your appointment. One employee cleaned every station, what seemed like, every 15 minutes wether it was being used or not. You can't to be too careful in these times. Ariana performed her magic on my hair with partial highlights brightening everything up and bring it back to life. She even gave me some suggestions, which I took, to try something new and I love it! Did not get what I asked for at all, multiple sessions went by, and I never achieved my end result very disappointed. I was trying to go honey golden balayage, and ended up with dark brown hair after she bleached it, which makes no sense. Hairstylist is very nice, salons very pretty but I paid for a service with realistic expectations and I got nothing even close to what I asked for. read more

Wanted to try this place out because of the good reviews online. However, I did not have a good experience. The stylist was clearly in a rush to go home and be done for the day. I gave short hair and all I needed was a trim. She trimmed my hair alright, but one side was longer than the other! When I looked in the mirror I waited for her to say something and she didn't. I mean come on, it's clearly obvious! So I said "hi I believe one side is shorter than the other" her response was "oh yea I noticed that" okay well if you noticed why didn't you say anything? She probably hoped I wouldn't say anything so she could go home early. I was so disappointed, afraid for her to "fix my hair" she didn't even dry it or style it. Which is why I paid $150 ... I didn't say anything and just left. My hair was not even thinned out like I asked her for. Very disappointed in this place. Will not be coming back. Please take the time to take care of your paying clients! Unsure if the stylist was new as well, but that's no excuse. read more

My first time here and I was very impressed with how friendly and welcoming everyone was, the salon is gorgeous, warm colors and super cute accents. Tiff was amazing, you can tell she really knows hair, techniques and color. I had a previous bad cut and she made suggestions to correct it and help grow out the layers. I have really thick, corse, long hair and previously the stylists that cut my hair gave me a choppy and uneven length that was only wearable when curled.
