Now over $300 per year - and the Lawrence PO and other surrounding Post Offices are less expensive, go figure! It has been a Pain in the A-- to mail anything there so I no longer try to visit and go elsewhere (btw, Salem NH is also very bad - lines out the door also). Unfortunately, I have to sign for things at times and therefore have to go to the window, which I dread....That typically means long lines and long waits, as there is typically one person at the window. I was there about 2 weeks ago, there were two people at the window, two customers with them, I was next in line with no one else behind me. When the customer was finished with the clerk, the clerk left. I had another 13 mins or so to wait until the person at the only window had about 7 return receipts done on her mailings. There were now about 7 people behind me and out the door. I had to pick up something unexpectedly at the window today - again, tried to find a time where it wouldn't be busy. WRONG! They were out the door again and people had lots of things to check in and only one clerk on duty. REALLY? So again, after driving miles, I had to leave and will return again - this is actually the 2nd time I tried to pick up the package....so it will be a third time in the future that I will give it another shot. It usually takes about 3 times to pick up something...unfortunately, I still have to wait typically 15 or 20 mins or more. I WANT OUT OF THIS POST OFFICE and don't care if I ever go back. Have been using and visiting this PO for 60 years. I will negate my business cards, invoices/receipts just so I don't have the aggravation of constantly waiting. Btw, the employees are typically nice and unfortunately are probably stressed when at the window and there is a long line. This does seem like a 3rd world country as far as the PO goes. BOB, whom I have dealt with numerous times over the years, is always friendly, is a help and enjoy chatting with him, IF there is not a long line out the door. Had to leave as it causes other issues, but will be glad to get rid of the stress and anxiety that this causes when I have to visit IF I have to go to the counter.

    I had to drop off a couple of large 50 pound packages to be shipped to California. The packages…read morewere prepaid by the receiving party, the labels were affixed properly and I brought them in using a dolly. A woman who works there scanned the packages and I tried to be helpful by asking where she would like me to put them. They were already on a dolly so it's much easier for me to move them to where they needed to be than for them to carry them. The woman hesitantly pointed to where they needed to go behind the counter and I sensed her nervousness as she glanced over at the manager. I stated I was simply trying to help but I'd leave them in the middle of the floor if that's what they preferred. I was told it was ok to put them behind the counter. John the manager didn't say a word but stared at me as if I had committed a criminal act. I have no idea whether or not he berated the employee after I left but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. What I can say is I've dealt with him in the past and I was surprised when I saw that he still worked there. As others have stated, he's a miserable person to deal with and I feel he most certainly has anger issues, does not represent the Company well and does not have the personality traits to effectively deal with customers.

    Raymer's Express delivered a dryer for me. They refused to take the old dryer out of my laundry…read moreroom stating that it was impossible due to the size of the room. I explained that I have had this dryer replaced in the past and the delivery men didn't have a problem removing and replacing the dryer. I called the company and spoke to the manager who was so RUDE! He yelled at me telling me that I didn't know what I was talking about as he could clearly see that the dryer was too big to get out of the laundry room. The delivery guy said if I could get the dryer out of the laundry room he would take it away and leave my new dryer in the bedroom next to the laundry room but he would not be able to hook up the new dryer. It took me (a 64 year old woman about 3 min to pop the hinge off the laundry room door and pull the dryer out of the laundry room a the big burley delivery man stood and watched. What is this world coming to that people are getting paid to NOT do their job!!! I cannot recommend this company as they are incompetent ant the manager was hot tempered and VERY RUDE! My rating is zero!

This "company" delivered my new fridge from Home Depot in Nashua. They were several hours late and showed no respect for my property. They carelessly tried to force the new fridge through my front door, damaging my storm door in the process. They finally took the storm door off its hinges and laid it on the ground where the continued to step on it. When they put the door back on it would not close and they left without mentioning the problem. I called home depot claims department and it turns out Raymer Express deals with all of their claims in house. Karen dealt with the claim. Her name says all you need to know about her. Her guys said they never touched the door and never took it off the hinges. She said she has worked with them for 10+ years and they would never do something like that. Have you looked at the reviews Karen, they say all you need to know. In the end, she said that the storm door damage was probably done by a different delivery company (this was the only appliance I've had delivered in the last 6 months)and she denied the claim. From my understanding, Raymer Express does most of home depots deliveries in the Nashua/Amherst/Methuen/Lawrence area. I strongly advise getting home Depot to use a different delivery company so the don't ruin your property too.
