OK, so I'm updating my review from 1 to 3 stars because, despite the owner being a dink, the staff has been pretty friendly and helpful the last few times I've been there. I hope this place gets a better owner. read more

DO NOT BUY, POSTAGE STAMP STAMPS HERE. They charge a 50% Service charge so be prepared to pay $8 extra for a book of stamps and they don't accept returns even the moment you realize it once paid. It's highway robbery. Poor poor business. Shame on them. read more

Trevor went above and beyond to help me get my package shipped. It's a well kept store with really kind employees. I highly recommend it.

Again, I went to the UPS store in Salem, NH. Again the service was great. I went with my 95 year old friend. Treated her with respect, kindness and caring. He took care of all her returns. Thank you Gunnar. read more

Packages all over the place. A real tripping hazard. The store smells like nasty body odor. It was making me gag. Deodorant would be wonderful, please. I had three Amazon returns with me. I thought one of the packages was a QR code when in fact they had sent me a label. The lady behind the counter tells me it will be $2.10 to print my label?!?! She has got to be nuts. Making money for doing nothing with Amazon packages I dropped off and wants to charge me for 1 label. Bunch of crooks as I went to Staples and they printed for free without hesitation. read more

The UPS Store #4548 Brought in 2 tiffeny lamp, 4 boxes. They repackaged them for me for about $200.000, also took out insurance on both lamps. Both lamps arrived trashed. One I could repair myself (super glue), the other was beyond help. As requested I shipped the damaged lamp (2 boxes) in original boxes with original packing back to them. Months go by,,, NOTHING. I call UPS? They say the UPS STORES are seperate from UPS. I call the UPS STORE AT: 215 S Broadway Salem, NH 03079 Phone: (603) 894-4702 Fax: (603) 893-9511 Email: store4548@theupsstore.com Given the run around for days, numerous phone calls, finally told I packed it wrong. I explained they packed it and I have insurance. Nothing for days, call them back (1/19/2021), I am told again I didn't pack it right. Again, I explain "THEY" packed it and I paid about $200.00 extra for them to do the packing. On and on and on... DON'T DO BUSINESS HERE read more

I dropped my amazon return here , I was not acknowledged and watched associates chat amongst themselves. I returned my item through them two weeks ago and amazon never received it. Because of their negligence and lack of organization my item is most likely in an employees living room and I get to chase amazon around to get my money back. Unbelievable!! Don't go to this store and if you do get a receipt because something shady is happening. Reply to comment from UPS - I have reached out to amazon, there is no information that has been updated. I did not get a receipt so I do not have a tracking number. Amazon refunded me for the item because of your negligence. I am not making false allegations. My package was never received by amazon and has vanished and there is no update in 3 weeks. You should consider that mistakes and theft can happen and not be naive about employees. I did not disclose any names or information about your employees. Before you accuse me of lying you should read the other reviews which indicate your employees are not doing their job. Before you send an ignorant reply you should maybe work with your staff to provide better service. My review is to make others aware of a situation I experienced to protect other customers. Hopefully you can learn to take feedback and work to improve the stores function. read more

Very disorganized / high fees I have two ups accounts open at different locations and I have realized this ups is far worse overall , many times I will go and they will only give me 2-3 packages when I have 10 packages there. On one instance I had to go back up to the counter 3 extra times asking them to give me ALL the packages I have . I opened this PO Box for my business and I am scared to order here because many times my packages are not given to me, and may end up getting lost. They also gave me another else's packages before. They have CRAZY FEES. They charge 3$ PER DAY for each package that is there after the first three days (this fee doesn't even exist at the other ups i use). They play it off as being a way to free up space although we all know they just want to make more money. A package the size of bar of soap will cost you 33$ to pick up if it's left there for two weeks. After my first two weeks using this PO Box and ordering around 20 small packages, I get a call from them telling me I owe over 600$, yes, over 600$ for late fees. They explain to me this is in the terms and conditions, which I'm sure it is , they know nobody reads it and never told me upfront when I opened the box about something so important and so expensive, Rather told me once I owed 600$. They did not disclose this fee verbally upfront to me when I signed up It cost me 140$ to open the box for 6 months. And within two weeks they are asking me to pay 600$ for my 20 small packages that I didn't pick up promptly (because I live out of state and only go once every two weeks). The Fees are very high and service is terrible, businesses should avoid using this place especially if You deal in expensive items like I do, I still have items from months ago I never received. Perhaps they're still there or they gave them to another customer. If you looking to open a business box here I would suggest going to a local usps or any other mail place. read more

They never told me why I only received the partial refund, instead of the full refund, when I asked them why and they never answered me. There were so many major problems and so many messing up crises of how the store manager, Brandon, was mishandling my international package very bad and very terrible. I was expecting the other half of the partial refund to make a full refund that I never received. I contacted the UPS franchise owner, Karman, by texting him, to ask the question why I only received the partial refund, instead of the full refund, and I never heard from him. The UPS franchise owner, Karman, never contacted me, because he refuses to communicate with me. He has NO compassion, NO customer sensitivity, NO cooperation, and he does NOT care at all about customers, like myself! One time, he told me, by phone, that he cares about customers which is NOT true at all! If the UPS franchise owner, Karman, wants to give me the other half of the partial refund to make it a full refund, he can, but he refuses! SHAME ON HIM!!!!! The UPS franchise owner, Karman; the general manager, Alex, and the store manager, Brandon, made my life so extremely very miserable, because they are full of apathy for NOT caring at all and for NOT being sympathetic at all with customers, like myself! read more

I have a pet peeve. I sell stuff on Ebay and I had to use UPS this week. I used the UPS.com website to get a price for the buyer. It's dependant on the weight, and package size which were accurate. When I get to the UPS Store, I find out that they are not part of USP, but a "franchise" and have different pricing. Yeah it was a few bucks more but come on, UPS lets get with the program and stop misleading all your on-line customers. The lady in the store said that everyone who uses UPS.com and Ebay shipping calculations should add $5 more to your estimate. Gee...thanks. read more

The UPS Store - Printing Services Near Me - Salem, New Hampshire

Had a package delivered to me 4 times that was for the previous home owner. I returned it each time telling the counter person that the person no longer lived there. I would then get the package delivered again the next day. Idiots is too general of a term for the people who work there. I guess return to sender which I wrote on package was too confusing. Package is now at Salem dump. Thanks for your help!!!! read more

I have never been to this store. I received great service today, 4/1. I had disc to copy, then scanned and then emailed to my personal email address. The 2 men who worked in the store couldn't have been nicer. They helped me out and I had no delays. There were also careful for a customer protection and kept the social distancing, yet were still effective. I will definitely go here when I'm in the area, Thanks for the great service! read more

Imran was super helpful today. I missed the instruction on my amazon return that required packaging. Instead of turning me away because I didn't have my wallet, he provided me with packaging gratis. On 10/16 I had to drop off a medical device to this location and this UPS location advertises that it opens at 7:30 am on weekdays. I arrived at 7:25 and waited there until 7:45. I got out of my car at 7:30 and waited in front of the door until 7:45 and no one came to the door no lights were on. I was extremely disappointed and I ended up having to go two towns over to drop this package off and then I was late for work. Do not advertise early hours if your employees cannot get to work on time. Will not visit this location again. read more

Had to come in here to drop off some Verizon DVRs. The clerk knew exactly what I needed as soon as I stepped in, got my paperwork ready, told me what to fill out, and had me on my way within five minutes. I only wish shipping everything (I'm looking at you USPS) was this easy! read more

On 12/19/18 I came into the store with a box of gift wrapped items to send to my parents in FL. Each item was individually wrapped and placed in a box. Matthew the gentleman at the counter said that they'd seal the box for me. 3 books of stamps later the total bill was $105. On 12/25 while speaking to my parents, I asked my mother if she liked the necklace that I had sent. She replied that there wasn't a necklace in the box. As a matter of fact, every wrapped item that I had placed into the box had it's gift wrapping paper ripped open and the necklace was gone. I've been calling and calling that store and no one answers. Pathetic that you cannot trust people to do the job you paid them to do. read more

This place appears to be a rip-off. The first time (a few months ago), I suspected that I paid too much. I don't ship often but try and judge what to expect to pay through the online calculators on all three web-sites: USP; Fedex & USPS. After suspecting that I may have paid too much, last time, I decided to shop around, this time. I was shipping a box that was just over 43 pounds. The online calculator estimated that it would be approximately $120. I almost dropped when the kid behind the counter told me that it would be $156!!! I then proceeded to the Fedex store (1 mile south on RT28), they quoted me only $105.95 (for the SAME package). I saved over $50 !!!!!!! Now, okay maybe the kid behind the counter punched in something wrong, but how would I know? Bottom line, "it pays to shop around". These stores are independently owned franchises. It appears that they are trying increase their profit margins by overcharging. read more

Nice & helpful staff - I came in the day before New Years and they were in good spirits and eager to help.

When approaching the entrance I had to walk over solid ice. Very slippery. I brought it to the clerks attention. I suggest they put some salt so no one gets injured. His responce "I don't have any". I responded "Maybe you should get some". I could not believe the responce. read more

I believe new owners have taken over recently. All but one current employee has quit. Don't bother trying to call, there is a new recording which you will get EVERY time you call because the new owner NEVER answers the phone. He sends all calls to voicemail even when it's not busy. Absolutely ridiculous to buy a customer service business when you don't want to talk to your customers. I have a mailbox at this location which I have had through 3 owners but I might be looking for a new location soon. read more

I went to the UPS store in Salem, NH at lunch today to ship an ebay item to the winner of the auction. To ship to Fargo, ND it was going to cost me $16.00 for packing the item and then to ship UPS Ground was going to cost me $50.00. Needless to say, I took it back to my office in Salem, NH. I paid $0.00 for packaging and $12.04 to ship UPS Ground. I asked the gentleman helping me if his shipping costs are the same as if I shipped from my office and he said same UPS charges. Hmmm, does not seem the same to me. read more

I went into the salem ups store today and had an awesome experience dealing with them. They knew exactly what I needed, no hassle, and most importantly a smile on their face. Do not go there for DHL! I went there twice to send a package internationally via dhl, was told I needed ID and other info that is required for UPS but not DHL. Went to the store to get a UPS box to take home and pack something up to ship. They had no supplies out and when I asked for a box the lady at the desk told me they only give them out if you are packing and shipping there. Aren't these free boxes???? VERY RUDE! I went to Kinko's Fedex down the road, got a box and shipped through them!!! Will never go back to this store again! read more

Brought a package into the Salem store to get a quote on a few car parts I was sending to Michigan. The young lady put it on the scale, took the physical measurements of the packaging and told me it would be $78 and some odd cents and suggested I tell my client $80 for shipping just to be safe. Receive the money from my client, returned with the exact package I had quoted. Much to my surprise when a different young lady told me it would be 138.99. When I informed her of the $78 dollar quote her response was it is a large package thus costs more. My receipt reads $64.68 for ground commercial and $67.50 for large pkg fee. Not sure where the $78 dollar quote came from but it appears there is one set of numbers for quoting and another set of numbers when shipping. read more
