I went in with 3 open boxes of family treasures ranging from hundreds of pictures and slides to fragile personal mementoes and the like. Explained the situation; needed these sent back to Chicagoland, time was not important, safety and integrity of the items was. Conrad and the rest of the team got into action, got the right size boxes, wrapped, protected and packed. Pricing was a fraction of what I thought it would be. Everything arrived perfectly intact. I just received my last package a week ago...ALMOST THREE MONTHS LATER. I spent over $400 to ship my things across the country in a timely manner. I called at least 3-5 times every week trying to locate my packages because the original tracking numbers were bogus. The staff there didn't know where my packages were for weeks, until finally someone discovered them sitting at another facility. I spoke with Bill, the manager/owner and he never had answers for me. When I called and left messages or emails seeking new tracking numbers, my calls were never returned. Bill became annoyed and rude, at times, when I would call because he was "sick of dealing with this". Trust me dude, I was too. Now that I finally have all my belongings, I have inquired about a full refund as I certainly did not receive the service I paid for in the timely manner it was promised. Once again, I have yet to hear back from Bill. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. This place is a joke and Fed Ex will hear about how poorly customers are treated at a company they are affiliated with.

Because I was unable to get there, I called and asked if it was possible to put the package back into the system and get it redelivered to my home without a signature. My attempts to change instructions to UPS were time consuming, frustrating and unsuccessful Brenda could have said no. Instead, she made several calls to people at UPS who assured her that the package would be redelivered to my house. When the package arrived again at the UPS store instead of my house, Brenda called to say that I shouldn't have to spend so much time on this and then she delivered the package to my house herself. At out business, we constantly help our customers carry into our showroom, their windows and screens. We have done this for the past 49 years and will continue to do so. I was not aware that I had to insert my own documents individually into a small slot. I had 130 pounds consisting of 10 boxes so it took quite a while to do. Then..... IT GOT WORSE!! I guess that morning cup of cappuccino got the best of me!! I embarrassingly had to urinate due to the extended time the documents took to insert. When I asked the male employee to use their restroom, I was told that was not possible. I asked him two times as I hustled to try and finish inserting all of the documents and hold in my urine. He refused each time. When I asked a 3rd time, the male employee asked me, "when you have to pee, where do you go?".... I awkwardly responded.... "in the toilet?" He replied, "well... there you go". I do not understand his question or his comment to my answer. Does anyone else out there understand it?? I then pleaded with the female employee asking her if I could please use their restroom to urinate and she also denied me. I explained to her that it was urgent and she denied me once again. I could not hold it any more and was forced to then grab all of my boxes and put them into my company van and drove away to find and use a rest room. The male employee ran several hundred yards behind my van as I drove thru their parking lot and subsequently thru the Eldredge Lumber parking lot in order to reach Route 1 and head south as I drove to my office building to use my own restroom. A few minutes later while at my office building, I discovered that the York Police Department had called my office/showroom. The UPS Store could not figure out why I left so quickly without taking the time to pay them and had called the York Police. I have owned and operated Seacoast Glass in Kittery since 1977 and we do not deny our customers the use of our restroom and especially would not do that if one of our customers were repeatedly asking for relief and in such discomfort.

The most recent transaction had been a package of 15 of the silicone wrist bracelets. The weight that Mailboxes assigned them was 10lbs!!!! (heavy bracelets huh? don't think so...) Bringing my charge to $70!!!!!!!, to mail them to Florida. What are the people at Mailboxes doing? Leaning on the scale? Charging other people's packages to my account? I will never go to them again and thank you so much Fedex for correcting their screw-up not once but twice now. I suggest to anyone that needs to mail anything, to go anywhere but here.
