False claims to the shipping company (and myself) that they'd attempted to contact me multiple times and schedule a delivery. Or there's the part where I spoke to a real person a grand total of one time, and she had no idea where my sofa was or any record of it ever being there, and promised to call me right back - and then didn't. Over the span of a week, I called them every day to leave a message asking what I could do to facilitate getting my sofa and never got a response. Or there's the part where I had to call the shipping company who was using them three times in three days - resulting in them calling these guys and their manager as well to leave "SRSLY CALL THIS CUSTOMER RIGHT NOW" voicemails - before I ever got a response from them on the third day (on day seven of this whole adventure). Or there's the part how when I did finally speak to their "Customer Care" rep - on whose voicemail I'd left 3 messages - she vaguely recalled getting a message from me and was pretty unapologetic about all of this. My sofa had been sitting in their warehouse for 2 weeks by that point. Or there's the fact that the delivery was scheduled for 2-5 pm when I checked online but (luckily) when I called at 8 am their dispatch was like, "Oh, they're going to be there in an hour!" Lucky me! To their credit: their delivery guys were pretty persistent about getting my sofa up the narrow flight of stairs after it kept getting stuck...but when I thanked them for their patience, they were like, "Well, we just don't want it back on our truck." I like writing positive, silly reviews on yelp; consider it my "thang," if you will. I don't really like slamming anyone's business and I feel like deep down anyone deserves some credit for making some sort of effort. These guys made almost none, and their service sucks huge hairy sweaty donkey balls.

Northeast Color was the first to respond, the cheapest, AND the most responsive to my questions. Sold. Three business days later, the banner is being shipped to my client, and I can bow gracefully and pretend I had this all planned out.
