Stopped in here recently to send out some mail. I was surprised by how large this location is! I…read morewas immediately greeted as I approached the counter by an employee named EJ and he asked me if he could help with anything. I told him I was shipping a letter via two day priority mail and he went out of his way to get the appropriate envelope behind the counter and put my letter into it himself! Usually at post offices, they'll just point you over in the general direction of all the assorted envelopes and have you do it yourself. Because of him assisting with this, I was in and out very quickly! A huge plus with my two kids in tow. Another patron entered as I was finishing up and the other employee who was working jumped right up to help him too. Great service! And the establishment was kept very clean as well.

The post office workers here are always nice and friendly and I have never had a problem with my packages not making it to its destination. I also walk in my letters to be sent out as well as I sometimes have to send checks in the mail. Overall, a perfect little post office conveniently located near the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

When I explained my situation to the window clerk, the woman said she would hand cancel all of them, but asked us to leave since they were about to close. However, when the wedding invitations started to arrive a few days later, I learned the clerk didn't just not hand cancel them, but sent them to Boston to be canceled by a machine. It's a shame you can't trust anyone to do their job right anymore.

Then I saw mail-it unlimited. I knew roughly where it was located but the website didn't say much about what to expect. Wow this looks like a tiny store from the parking lot but once inside it's pretty big and they have so much stuff. By the time I got to the center where the register was I had seen dozens of things I'd like to get, but I was here for a sympathy card and a gift and I was definitely out of my comfort zone. So I asked one of the associates where to find the sympathy section and what would be a appropriate gift. He showed me where the card section was and an area where I could find the gift. I found so many beautiful and thoughtful cards that fit and I finally narrowed it down to one. Next I headed to the gift area and there were so many beautiful choices, but within a few steps I was looking at the various figurines (Willow Tree) and they were so well crafted and I found the sympathy one. It's about 9 inches tall with a dove on the arm, I was expecting a big price tag but it was alot less than I expected. Check out was quick, the staff checked the figurine to make sure it was perfect and boxed it up and back to the jeep I went. Here I had to sign and address everything and then run back in. Not only do they sell some beautiful and sentimental items but they will ship them out for you to. Honestly it was the best stop all around for me Without missing a beat the staff spotted a error in the zip code. We all know during stressful times we can make errors but thankfully they caught it and fixed it and our stuff was shipped out and should be arriving by tomorrow night. Had they not caught the error our package could have wound up taking days to arrive at the correct destination. We have the tracking numbers and we will know when it's arrived. I know I'll be going back because they have so many different things that I'd love to wander around and find some nice stuff for our house. If you're in Kennebunk and have some time to check out the shops stop by here. You'll definitely find something you're going to want to take home

Well, after a few days I decided to call, I was dreading to go in so I decided to try out the phones. Called, spoke to a gentlemen, he said he would call me back, I wasn't holding my breath with this one. Within 5 minutes he called, said my package was at another post office and he would go pick it up and hand deliver it to my house. OK, WOW on the customer service!!! Thumbs up guys, talk about the luxury of living in a small town! Thank you!!! Everyone gets a raise!
