Getting a glass of wine.
Ann D.

Always a great place to visit!!! The service is spectacular and the prices per glass are very affordable. The types of wine on the tasting list are very unique! The ambiance is very well decorated with nice bar seating and a couch and a couple of chairs! It was packed today. Nancy is always very nice! Some of her wines have made the top 40 on the wine enthusiast list. I recommend stopping here before going to any of the big wineries in Paso Robles or just going to this small tasting room and having a different experience than what all the other large wineries are offering.

We decided to come to Ulloa Cellars for a few reasons: one of their tasting room neighbors told us that the place was Barbie pink, that they did all white wines, and that they offer a wine and crystal pairing. We thought it would be a fun and unique experience that you wouldn't be able to find at any other tasting room. We booked a reservation by emailing Nancy (the owner) and good thing we did because the tasting room is fairly small, and just about every seat was filled at some point during our time there. Nancy led our tasting, and I'm so happy that we got to experience it with her, she is extremely passionate about all she does with the wines, and it was fun to learn how she created her own label. We ended up leaving here with two bottles of wine, and full hearts from how warm of an environment it was.

What can I say? Loved the vibe, loved Nancy the owner/winemaker, loved the wine! Nancy makes mostly white wines, and I do like white wine, so I stopped by and was not disappointed. Nancy herself is a breath of fresh air! You know that she is passionate about wine and the wines she makes. She made the tasting experience fun. I read an article about Latinx owned wineries, and wanted to support them. I'm so glad I stopped by Ulloa Cellars. Nancy is doing great things from making good wine, to the fun labels and the affirmations on the back of the bottles. Check out Ulloa Cellars. You won't regret it.

This is a MUST stop for anyone who likes wine, is about good vibes, and is wanting to support a winemaker who wants to CONNECT with her clientele. Do not let the location or outside fool you. Once you walk inside you are instantly wrapped in a cozy pink atmosphere. Comfy couches, or a bar top with hip hugging bar stools await. Nancy is not only the winemaker but your host for the day. The way she welcomes you makes you feel like you are a friend or even family. We opted to do the crystal pairing with our wine. For $11.11 extra you get to keep the crystals which pair with your tastings. She explains each wine, the affirmation that goes with the wine as well as why the crystal pairs. Each tasting is waived with a two bottle purchase. I became a wine member for the FIRST TIME Because I felt like I was becoming part of a family not just a club. You can see the passion and soul she pours into her wine and her customers. Absolutely must try while in Paso or anywhere nearby!

I was recently able to try the amazing wines of Nancy Ulloa, the owner and winemaker. She has such an amazing story about her inspirational journey to becoming a winemaker. I love the girly vibe to her winery, like a fun boho Barbie-chic atmosphere. I really want to bring some of my best girlfriends here now for a tasting. It was so interesting hearing about her appreciation for crystals (and their symbolism), as well as how she uses them in her winemaking. This was such a refreshing experience and I can't wait to go back (and to open what of the great bottles of 2022 Semillion that I bought).

It's 16,000 square feet of underground tunnels. As one of the few spots offering complimentary tastings to our complete surprise! This winery is a hidden gem. We loved the selection so much we had to pick up a few bottles for home! Overall Great wines, beautiful views & amazing service! Definitely going back!

By the end, pretty much everyone in our group had found a wine they wanted to take home--including the ones who swore they weren't buying anything. Dennis, our Tasting Room Host, made the experience. He was warm, very knowledgeable, and genuinely engaging with everyone--from the serious wine lovers to our six-year-old--while keeping things professional and elevated. The whole visit struck that rare balance: polished without feeling formal, refined without ever feeling rushed or "in-and-out." Dennis has been with Eberle since 2017, and you can feel how much he cares about the place. He spoke about the winery with such genuine pride, and as you look around the tasting room at the rows of award ribbons from years of vintages, it hits you--this is a place with real history behind it. That sense of legacy and care is woven into the whole experience. The historic wine caves are a must, the complimentary tasting felt generous and unhurried, and the grounds have that unmistakable Paso magic--rolling hills, big oaks, golden light, and room to breathe. We even crossed paths with Gary Eberle (founder, 1979) and his sweet black poodle, Vieto--one of those authentic, only-in-wine-country moments that sums up the welcoming spirit here. If you go, ask for Dennis--he turned our first visit into one we'll plan future trips around. Good to know before you visit: * Make a reservation--it gets busy * Don't skip the cave tour (you can even taste down there) * Large lawn & games--great for kids and mixed groups * Very dog-friendly * Private, romantic tastings available in the caves * Complimentary tastings + military discount available * Plan to stay a while...and bring your camera :)

He was welcoming, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable throughout the entire tasting. He didn't just pour the wines, he walked us through each one, explaining where they came from and what made them unique. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it elevated the whole visit. FOOD: We didn't go for a full meal, but we did have some charcuterie--and wow. The cheese selection was delicious and paired perfectly with the wines. Simple, but very well done. AMBIANCE: This spot has such a cozy, homey feel. Sitting on the couch honestly felt like hanging out in someone's living room (in the best way). It's relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for slowing down and enjoying good wine and conversation. DRINKS: We did the 6-wine tasting (2 whites, 4 reds), and it was a great mix. Each wine felt thoughtfully chosen, and with Anthony guiding us through the tasting, we got so much more out of it than just drinking. His knowledge really brought each glass to life. OVERALL: If you're looking for a laid-back, intimate wine experience with great service, this is definitely a spot to check out. I'd come back again just for another tasting with Anthony.

Our first stop when we arrived in Paso. We've been to so many wineries, this would be one of our top 10. The spice pairing is unique but pairs so well with the wine. Buy 3 bottles to waive the fee. Since it's more of boutique, the bottles are quite pricey, mostly ranging near the 100s. But it was our favorite the whole weekend we went there. And we bought 6 bottles. We loved the spell and got 3 bottles of that! It's a Syrah cab blend. Has the Paso flavor that we love. It's not a vineyard, just a tasting room but worth a visit. We met the wine maker too. Friendly and attentive service. Can't wait to pop open a bottle at home soon!

They had a room set up in the back for us (it pays to make a reservation) and it was personalized with our name and it had a comfortable couch and other seating, with a beautiful tapestry on the wall. Our "guide" for today was Nyoka, and she was fabulous. I don't know if she was solely helping us or not; however, it sure seemed like it. She was really sweet, was so informative and just a pleasure to talk to. We did the tasting, and we also did the optional spice tasting for an additional $15. I would strongly encourage you to add in the spice tasting. It is definitely well worth it, and it goes with the wine tasting so well. Nyoka was very good at not only telling us about the wines; however, also telling us about the spices, history, growing conditions, the owners, and even the geography -- along with a map as a visual. She was truly a pleasure. We did end up buying three bottles to take home. These bottles are a little bit pricier than ones we usually buy. We usually fall in the $50 range and these were definitely in the $75 to $90 range for most of them; however, they were definitely good and likely premium. We had an excellent time, and would return again in the future.
