Incredible food at the cutest spot! Went here for lunch after walking around 'Iao Valley State Park. We loved the açaí bowl, burger (A+++), kalua pork fried rice, and the Cajun mahi mahi. They also have activities for kids to do while you're waiting for your food, like cornhole, coloring pages with crayons, etc. highly recommend and will be back!! read more

Came here after we went on a nice two hour hike!! It was hot hot hot so i just chose a smoothie and the bf got the Loco Moco. Should of taken a picture of his food but he scarfed it down too fast lol he said it was delicious and it reminded him of his grandma who use to make it for him. I loved my smoothie! It was made with fresh seasonal fruit and it did not disappoint. The staff was sweet and it was just us that we're eating there which was nice. read more

If you're passing by on kaheklli highway, stop by this cute food truck!! Lots of seating (5 picnic tables - 3 shaded and 2 not shaded), options for the whole family, and friendly service! I knew already I wanted an açaí bowl. We had just finished a hike down waihee side so I was craving something nice and refreshing. This açaí bowl was delicious! Topped with bananas, pineapples, strawberries, granola, Mac nuts, and honey. For some reason, the pretty patty also stood out to me so we ordered one of those too! It was a taro/sweet potato patty and it was delicious! I'm usually a burger eater but the flavors in this sandwich were really incredible. Warning tho - it's a wee bit messy so don't eat it in the car. Might be better to use a fork too bc parts of the patty kept falling out. But I didn't mind, it was just soooo tasty. The bun is a taro bun too which is always so good. I'm definitely coming back soon to try something else - and to get another pretty patty! read more

Ula Ula Cafe was a great stop for lunch on our way back from hiking the Waihee Ridge Trail. Fantastic spot with a shaded seating area and multiple picnic tables with a macadamia nut farm in the background. Additionally, the team working were so energetic and friendly, making small talk with all of the customers while we were there. We ordered the vegetable egg rolls, Ula Ula Burger, and fish tacos. The vegetable egg rolls have edamame in them and are served with a delicious sauce. My husband really enjoyed his burger. It was served medium well with a taro bun, cheddar cheese, and a slice of pineapple. He said the flavors melded well, and it was very enjoyable. The fish tacos, while decent, weren't what I was expecting. They were served with lettuce, tomatoes, a bit of shredded cheese and a bit of cream sauce. The fish was fantastic, but I prefer the more traditional cabbage topping with a fruit salsa. The last thing we tried was the Lemongrass Basil Lemonade from the smoothie stand. WOW! It was fantastic. The blend of flavors was tart, crisp, and refreshing. We also grabbed some Auntie's Organic Rodeo General Store banana bread before we left. We just had some for breakfast, and it was moist and delicious. What a wonderful place. Overall great experience! One of the few places on east side of Wailuku to stop and have a bite. Some say the prices are a bit high, Welcome to Maui! The fact they use organic and mostly local products, you get what you pay for. Good quality food that's yummy.. yes you can find cheaper for less quality but eat good and feel good and support local. I ordered the tofu budda bowl (lowering cholesterol is real), great flavor, i would order it again. I really wanted to try their Kalua pork. My friend got the papaya smoothie, the papaya is perfectly sweet and flavorful. Sorry no pictures of the food but I really want to post the latest menu since I didn't find one on the internet. There was a tour group that stopped for a bite and an elderly man bought fresh pineapple cut up. Yes you can go to Costco and buy a Maui gold pineapple for less but chances of it being ready to eat are slim. It looked like the whole pineapple was in that bag he ordered and I wanted a piece, it looked so refreshing. Maui has the best pineapples, sweet and low acidity. Enjoy! read more

My husband and I stopped after a hike for an early lunch, and we were delighted by the welcoming greetings from the staff. They're so friendly. The atmosphere is so relaxing. We ordered beef loco moco and mahi mahi sandwich and both were soooo good and the prices are reasonable. We had loco moco at several places before but this one is the best we had yet. The mahi sandwich was very flavorful, and it came with fresh vegetables that added texture and quality to the sandwich. Highly recommend this place! read more

Everything was beautiful. From the sight, to the comfort of the tables and shade they had. They even have a nice setup outside if you want to sit in the sun and have a drink with people as you talk. Workers were so sweet and patient even though it was hard for a bit with the masks for them to hear. The food portions are so big. Service was pretty fast for how busy and short staffed they were. They are short staffed, so please be patient with them. We had the breaded chicken, salad, a burger (can't remember the kind), pulled pork sandwich, tea, latte and macaroni salad. Everything was so good. I admired the organic salad since I can't eat much of their menu anymore due to diet restrictions. Had a really guava or some kind of great dressing. Macaroni salad was flavorful but not too much. Perfect to make our taste buds happy. This place deserves 10 stars!! Wish them the best. We'll have to come again soon. read more

After leaving the Airport we decided to just hit any local food restaurant as we headed to relatives house. We took a route away from family as we saw Ula Ula's menu on yelp. Everyone will miss out if you don't stop here to grind. We had Beef Local Moco and Chicken Katsu. Best CK I have ever eaten in my life and the Beef LM was out of this world. We could have fed a family of 4, but luckily there were just the 2 of us and our tummies were stuffed. Will never come to Maui again unless we plan to stop at Ula Ula Cafe. read more

From farm to table this is a great outdoor breakfast/brunch spot. We ordered the loco moco, kalua fried rice, and hot dog. Surprisingly the Hawaiian style polish hot dog was my favorite although I'm a big fan of loco moco. The hot dog was cooked and seasoned very nice and was in a toasted bun. The loco moco plate is pretty big so I would suggest to share with a friend if you're not a big eater. You can obviously tell that the patty is handmade and it was cooked very nice as well. I think the kalua pig fried rice was cooked with coconut oil and it was very overpowering. I couldn't taste the salty kalua pig or the fried rice at all. The workers here are very friendly and sweet. I was helped by a young guy and he even offered to sell me banana bread and fresh fruits from the farm that was on the same property. Next time I come here I really want to try their fresh fruit cups! The parking here is great. There are many stalls and they aren't narrow. They offer outdoor dining and each picnic table has a bottle of hand sanitizer. read more

This is a welcome stop on the road towards Wailiku! Even though my family drove in at 3:30, after their closing time of 3 pm, they gladly served us. The macadamia-but-encrusted mahi-mahi salad plate was out of this world delicious. The kids loved the POG (pineapple, orange, guava) smoothie and their hotdog. A lot of their ingredients are from the fields right next to the truck (same owner). Highly recommend! read more

Food was very good. The presentation is excellent and the patties in the Loco Moco was great in texture and taste and the gravy was also decent. The Kalua pork fried rice was very tasty and satisfying without being too heavy. The portions are good and price is at a reasonable 10-20 dollar range. The owner is a super nice lady and she hand cooks everything with speed and the food comes out nice and hot unlike a lot of trucks where food is pre-made. Decided to check out this new food truck that opened up a few days ago. Offers a great location, outside of town called Waihee. The area offers lots of parking, picnic tables to sit and eat and a beautiful view of the west Maui mountains. The lady that took my order was nice, I think because they just opened she was busy helping the workers so ordering an paying took awhile. Their menu isnt large,which I personally prefer. Decided to try their loco moco which comes with rice, mac salad or caesar salad. I opted for no rice and salad. I really wanted to like my food, but the hamburger patty was rock hard and offered very little flavor. I did however loved the caesar salad, they make their own dressing which reminds me of Cafe Olei. This was their first few days of being open so Im sure their still figuring things out, I will be back to give them another try. read more

We took the road 340 to get back to Lahaina as we found this food truck right next on the street to the left. Everything looks pretty new and it was fun to talk to the staff, very helpful and I am glad we went with the recommendation - The fish of the day on rice. We were told everything is local and organic. The fruited and nuts are from the farm behind the food truck. Everything tasted delicious. For dessert I got a fruit Smoothie.
