That was over a month ago. Now he won't answer my phone calls. He has no showed twice when he was supposed to clean it up. I've used other concrete contractors in the past and it's a very different experience. He did pour the concrete though, so there is that. But if you use them it won't be the best experience you've ever had. I'll update this if he gets back to me and finishes the work.

In 2023, I hired Sam to repair a 30-foot section of my hollow tile wall that was leaning. He did a…read moregreat job. In 2024, a truck crashed into the other end of the wall and destroyed about a 15-foot section. I did not hesitate in hiring Sam again due to his previous work. When he completed the work, I pointed out several areas where there was no mortar between the vertical seams of the hollow tile blocks and the mortar between several caps was not smooth. It was raining off and on during their work. He told me that he would come back and patch the areas when it was sunnier. Relying on his promise and having worked with him the previous year, I paid him the total amount due on that day. Over the next 8 months, I called him 3 times to see when he would complete the work. He said he would call me when he would come out. I called again in December of 2025 and left him a message and he did not reply. I left him a final message in February 2026 saying that if I did not hear back from him within a week that I would assume that he is not going to complete the work and that he is standing with the work to be his final product. I stated that I was waiting for him to complete the work before I wrote a review. I waited a few months to see if he would reply. He did not. I have lost trust in Sam, and the quality of his work has gone down over the past years.
