We had it with the ginger dressing. I really like a good fried tofu, especially since I have never been successful making it at home. The Agedashi had a gently crispy exterior and came out so hot and steaming that I kept burning my mouth, but it was so good I kept eating it anyway. Just perfect! It even came with an elegantly cut flower made from a carrot. My husband had the salmon roll, which was also good. We ordered a bottle of sake, and our waitress patiently helped us narrow down our choices--clear or cloudy, and what we might like from there. We appreciated her taking the time to help us choose. All that fresh, delicious food plus a bottle of sake for a great price. We really enjoyed our last dinner in Asheville at Wasabi!

What a wonderful little spot! I discovered this place a couple months ago, and it quickly grew to become one of my favorite sushi/Asian fusion restaurants in Asheville. The owners and the waitstaff are kind people, and you can tell they care about service and the quality of their food. I've had most of their sushi rolls, clear soups, a few appetizers( shrimp egg roll is BOMB), and they're spicy chicken Chinese dish is to die door.
