Great spot for ice cream just on the edge of covent garden. We all tried several flavors before choosing and were so impressed with the options! There was seating for about 12 inside, but it was absolutely packed with a line out the door. The service was good and the interior was cute. There was a shady spot outside to eat as well. read more

Wow! This is some of the best ice cream I have ever had! They make the ice cream on site. They are happy to provide a sample of you are having trouble deciding from their delicious and original flavors. I had two scoops: salted vanilla cookie dough and dark chocolate and sea salt. We picked Udderlicious out because there was a line out the door. They have a couple places to sit inside and there is a bench outside. There were four people working behind the counter and it was efficient and friendly. When I ordered two scoops the woman asked if I wanted two half scoops or two small scoops. This was some of the best vegan ice cream I've ever had! I appreciate that they have vegan options that are not just sorbet (as sorbet is NOT remotely close to ice cream), and they had some really interesting and delicious flavors. They offered tastings of the flavors before you commit to a scoop - I tried the vegan Biscoff & Honeycomb and vegan Hazelnut & Stracciatella, and I didn't need to try anything else because I immediately knew I wanted a small scoop of each of those. The texture was perfect and creamy. A little too sweet maybe, but ice cream is always a little too sweet when it's not simple vanilla. It seems like they have a good variety of flavors all the time, so they'll definitely draw you back. We came at a quieter time, which is good because of the aforementioned lack of space and that it was sprinkling off and on as it tends to do in London. The flavors are cleverly displayed in a series of "picture frames" off to the right, which is great as you don't have to hover over the case wondering what flavors they have, especially if there is a line. I went with a shake and it was very good! I do think it was a tad overpriced and the straw that came with it was not very good--a large tear formed early making it less useful, but all in all a very positive experience! read more

Really wanted to try this place out because it's one of the top-rated ice cream places in London but was honestly a bit disappointed with my experience. I ordered the Hazelnut Milk & Stracciatelli in a cone and was disappointed with how little of one scoop they gave me. My friend who ordered her scoop in a cup got 2-3x more which was quite insane. Either way, they didn't charge me extra for the cone so I can't really complain. The flavor itself was okay, there wasn't a ton of hazelnut flavor which I was quite disappointed about and the chococalte they used didn't really melt in your mouth so it was a bit tiring to eat. Not sure I would come back given the flavors or portion sizes, but I will definitely say that if you do come, get the cup instead, you will get much more than the cone by far. read more

I lived nearby during the summer and frequented Udderlicious because it's amazing and has enough flavors that I was never bored! There was always something new to try! Neal's Yard is also nearby, so I would highly recommend getting a cone and then enjoying a walk to Neal's Yard to sit on the benches there. This location is very cute but also pretty small. If you can get a seat, the swinging bench is adorable! However, it is also often crowded so I usually take my ice cream to go! This is a quaint ice cream shop that caught my eye on my way home after a hot yoga class. Looking to "cool down", I stepped into this place which I now visit at least once a week. Udderlicious is a local brand that creates freshly made ice cream using organic milk, natural ingredients and real fruit. My fave flavours so far: (1) Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Sorbet - There's no dairy in this but it's super rich, creamy, and heavenly. If you love rich chocolate, the sea salt makes it that much more unique. (2) Espresso and Chocolate Biscotti - I love coffee ice cream in general (as long as it's not sour tasting) but not only is the espresso flavour yum, there's the added chocolate biscotti crunch! Helena and I popped in here after a lovely dinner and before a show as Helena had heard good reviews. Like all good gelato places we were able to sample a couple of the flavours before deciding. I tried the chocolate honeycomb, coconut and choc chip and peach and prosecco. You are able to get a 1 scoop ice cream with two flavours and I picked the first two I tried while Helena had the chocolate espresso and one other that I can't remember. It's not that the peach and prosecco was bad but it was more on the sorbet side and I wasn't feeling that. At £2.95 for two flavours in a cup it was a decent deal. The service is friendly and quick and they don't mind you trying a multitude of flavours before picking.
