We headed over to G Street WunderBar located on G street in downtown Davis. We ended up parking on the street-so many parking spots in Davis-so it was no problem. When we walked in,it was quiet,not a lot going on but I knew this was a fun place. Wasn't hard to imagine how much fun this place would be on a Friday or Saturday night in this college town. I asked the bartender lady and she pretty much verified that it gets nutso in there on weekends. This bar has lots of tables and multiple rooms,so they have capacity for many people. They have multiple pool tables and video games in the back room,along with an entirely separate bar back there. They have a big screen projector screen and many small TVs along the bar to accommodate anyone wanting to watch any live sporting event. The Happy Hour here is pretty solid as well,$5 drinks were available. I heard the food here is pretty decent but we weren't here for that-maybe next time. My favorite part of this bar though easily was the bartender-She was such a breath of fresh air,so much personality and her hockey knowledge was amazing-she really made my visit to this bar quite enjoyable. We also ordered a regular hamburger and a grilled chicken sandwich with pesto mayo. The pesto mayo was a nice touch and the chicken wasn't over cooked or dry it was nice and juicy. This place gives me sports bar vibes with a very friendly attentive staff. This is our second time coming here and it definitely wont be our last. Definitely recommend this place if your in Davis.

All the vegetables were fresh, crispy clean lettuce. I felt like the pickle they either made it themselves or they get it from somebody handmade. And the buns also tasted homemade. We were both impressed with our burgers, however, the avocado burger, which he got had a lot of mayonnaise on it. So just a heads up they do put pretty much all the condiments on the burger so just make sure to specify what you want or don't want condiment wise when ordering. As far as parking, it's downtown so it's a lot easier to walk or bike to this location. However, there is some parking around the block and by the park - you just need to be aware of signs. I really feel like this place can host multiple different kinds of going out. We went out for a casual afternoon date, but of course there's families there, friends getting together, small groups of two or maybe even just one person and of course, larger groups were there too. I can see it being a kind of a cool date spot for more casual kind of date and of course I can see this being used as like family gatherings so I like that it's very versatile . The meal was really pricey and consisted of mostly fries and a mini burger. In order to get enough satisfaction I would need probably three of these burgers as they were the size of sliders. I would be better off going to McDonald's for the price. But if you like fries more than burgers then go for it . The fries were also really salty. The burger had great flavor but it needed to be bigger. I see this as a place where drunk people go.
