The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment.
