Walnut Old Fashioned - A close-up of a glass of whiskey with lemon slices and a cherry garnish on top, placed on a bar menu at The Devilbiss Room in Winters, California. The menu features craft beers and cocktails, and the bar has a historic interior with memorabilia. The setting appears to be dimly lit, creating a cozy atmosphere.

Small cocktail bar and lounge that is affiliated with Buckhorn Steakhouse which is next door. The cocktails were good and would come back here for small bites and drinks

Cozy vibe - A dimly lit bar and lounge area with exposed brick walls decorated with paintings and mounted animal skulls. The space includes various armchairs and sofas arranged around small tables, with a chandelier made of antlers hanging from the ceiling. A bar with a bartender is visible in the background, with shelves of bottles and glassware illuminated by warm lighting. The overall ambiance is cozy and eclectic, with a mix of vintage and rustic decor.

Cozy cocktail bar that has done a nice job decorating for Halloween. The music was at the perfect volume...quiet enough to ignore if you don't like the song but loud enough to add ambiance for those that do...and no shouting needed to hear the people at your own table. My husband loved his Old Fashioned. My Empress cocktail was good but not good enough to order a second round. We had the the steak frittes and heirloom tomato bruschetta, which were both delicious. We look forward to another visit!

French toast - A serving of French toast topped with a mixture of blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries is presented on a white rectangular plate. A small metal cup of syrup is placed on the plate, along with a dollop of whipped cream. The dish is set on a rustic, dark-colored table, and part of a menu or sign is visible in the background.

We've passed by this place and decided to try it and OMG this is our new favorite spot! Reasonably priced and the food quality was delicious! The breakfast burrito had the pan fried outside and the filling was cooked to perfection. If you don't like spicy, I'd pass on the potatoes but the dish was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, chorizo was cooked to a jerky type but had such good flavor along with the poached egg. Chicken and waffles were flavorful, we love this town and there's so many amazing places to eat. This is one of them!! Go check them out! Service is great and the ambiance is so cool, welcoming and great location!

Chicken & waffles - Four fried chicken bites are arranged on waffle pieces with fresh greens, secured with skewers, and served on a dark wooden platter. The presentation is on a marble table, with a menu visible in the background, indicating a restaurant setting.

New brunch is amazing! Croissant takes awhile but is worth the wait. Lovely Bloody Mary's and chicken and waffles. We definitely would visit again!

We had a lovely Happy Hour before our delicious meal at the Buckhorn. What a great way to start an evening with friends.

My sister & I didn't understand what the problem would be since they already sell all the other food from Buckhorn.

Our server/sommelier was very knowledgeable in the different wines. She came by multiple times to make sure we were satisfied. We ordered the tasting flight so that we could try multiple varieties. I loved how each had their own unique flavors. The interior is nice and modern with a slight rustic feel. There was calming music playing in the background. We had some crackers to go along with our drinks. The prices were also very affordable for the quality of the wine and the experience. Overall, I enjoyed my time here. Certainly recommend this spot and I will be returning. Bottom line/TLDR: excellent wine tasting spot in Winters!

The Cloudbreaker immediately met my taste buds with bitterness and then left my tongue completely numb for several minutes. Perhaps those sensations would have paid off if they were followed by a calming or THC-like effect, but I didn't experience any change in mental state. The comfortable atmosphere saves this establishment from 1 star. Dim lights, leather couches, chill music, and colorful tiki wall art make for a decent study spot or date night. However, if you're hanging out at a business, you gotta support it, and to support it, you gotta buy something -- I can't see myself buying anything kava-related with any ounce of enjoyment. Surely there must be some variation of a kava drink that tastes delightful. I don't want to spend any more money finding out though.

Lovely and chic hotel!…read more I stayed here over the weekend of the Tractor Parade and had a lovely time! When we got to the lobby, we were greeted by the pleasant scent of the spa and a complementary glass of wine. The lobby was gorgeous. There was a nice fire going with plenty of seating, even some mounted down tablets where kids can play games. Outside, there is a ton of patio seating as well. There are fire pits, cozy chairs, and a pool (that seems to be more of a puddle). This hotel is unique in that it promotes socialization. I noticed that there is an abundance of seating not just in the lobby, but on the room floors as well. With the wine and fire pits, it makes for the perfect evening to chat with the other guests. The rooms are also super nice! They were spacious and very clean. The shower was huge with two high-powered shower heads. The shampoo and conditioners bottles were high quality and smelled very nice too. We paid a $75 pet fee and the room, to my pleasant surprise, came furnished with a dog bed and pet food bowl. This hotel is very dog friendly! I would say though that the lighting in the room was very minimal. There was no overhead lighting; just a few lamps that directed light down. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Winters and would love to stay here again!

We had to stay here for a conference. This CA town has a population of 7500 people. Everyone knows each other and there are 4-6 big families known here from the town's origination. We were greeted upon arrival at the hotel registration desk. The registration is two large sit down desks with the hotel agents offering a glass of wine at check in. There is 1 restaurant attached to the hotel, and it is only open for most business from 4-9 Mon-Sun. They offer a coffee shop with pastries counter service Mon-Wed 7:30a-11:30a. It's a bit inconvenient because if you work earlier than 7:30, you must walk a block to another place or drive 10 mins to Starbucks. The hotel is beautiful, very minimalistic, rustic modern, and the design is geared towards Wine Vineyard/Tuscan/Farm like decor. There is a common area in the lobby, an outside large patio with a shallow fountain pool. The inside offers a two sides fireplace with seating on both sides. A small corner next to the 2 elevators has 3 tablets that are fixed in place for guests, this seems to be a business corner in the open space. There is also conference space. Our room was nice but when we arrived, the toilet paper stand was on top of the toilet seat. This was very odd at 8:30p since they had several hours to quality check our room before we checked in late at night. The good news is that I had no itchiness after staying here. There was a clean bed, bathroom, desk, and carpet. For our 3 night stay, it was a good experience.
