The best part of the visit was a personal tour of the grounds at Park Winters from Rafael who is one of the owners. He has got to be one of the most humble and nicest people I have ever met since moving to California. There is so much to see and do if you decide to walk the grounds on your own. I love how they have repurposed some of their buildings with old doors, wooden fruit crates, window frames for picture frames, just so much creativity in this hidden gem of Winters. The owners really put a lot of thought into every detail of their gorgeous venue. Thank you Rafael for taking us on a tour of your beautiful property. You're an amazing host. Several of us got the fried chicken and biscuit and it was good with honey but was hoping the fried chicken would have been more crispy. Fries were yummy and salad option was delightful. We sat near misters, which we would probably ask not to for our next visit - little too strong for our eating setup. Overall a beautiful spot and wonderful way to spend a weekend with the family. The chicken portion was extremely small and was served separately on a plate rather than sliced and placed on the salad as ordered. The other dishes were also small and underwhelming. The burger and fries were nothing special, and the spaghetti was plain and lacked flavor. If you are looking for great ambiance, this may be a nice place to visit. But if you are looking for great food, you may want to consider other options. For a great burger, I would recommend Buckhorn instead. It costs less and is much better.

We had a double stack of huge pancakes, nothing special here but still good, a delicious egg scramble with fresh avocado, bacon, jack cheese, eggs, potatoes and toast 10/10. I love when a place is generous with their coconut! Crunchy and delicious! The nice older lady suggested a beer I might like ( I wish I got her name...very pleasant!) And she was spot on! The City of Bees beer from Woodland was delicious! So good I bought more before I left! It is so relaxing outside with plenty of covered areas. Water fountain was a nice touch! I contemplated also buying honey but figured the hostess already had us covered with charcuterie, ports, olive oil and balsamic vinegars. I didn't catch the name of the man who helped me out, but he was super knowledgeable. I tasted more than a handful of different meads, ranging from bright and sweet to hoppy, to notes of cardamom and pine, to a thick almost port-like consistency, to a dry one. I also noticed one local brand, Strad Meadery represented as well. This wasn't a formal proper sit-down tasting as I was short on time, compared to when I did the actual honey tasting and they had a UC Davis Honey Flavor & Aroma Tasting Wheel to go along with. Ultimately I ended up purchasing a bottle of limited edition Sky River Chamomile Mead (Puget Sound, WA) and a specialty small-batch Monarch Series bottle of SideTrack Meadery's Celebratory Cyser Apple Mead (California Bay Area). We shared the Cyser which was great, and saving the bottle of Chamomile for a future date. I'll be back soon for lunch or to catch live music on the pollinator garden patio!

Doggy friendly ( well behaved..small dogs). One side of the restaurant is alittle bit more formal which is Kitchen Four Twenty Eight. Adjoining it is Mojos Lounge which is more casual with more seating ( and bar seating). SAME menu for both sides. Since I was with my pup we decided to sit in the lounge. Both sides offer table service. There is also outside seating. I only had a glass of wine because I was watching my pup but my girlfriend got a chicken sandwich with nicely cut fries. The vibe is cool and relaxing. Menu is not just a standard fare...very creative! Full bar with plenty of seating! Nice friendly employees in a casual but historic beautiful building. I will be back!
