Tan at the recommendation of our wedding coordinator, With Grace and Love, and I'm so grateful for the connection! Rev.Tan service's were pretty straightforward and given our wedding plans changing significantly due to COVID we still needed someone to officiate for our party of 11. The idea of crafting a wedding ceremony seems a bit daunting but they share a great program that helps the couple craft the perfect ceremony unique to them. I found the program to be easy to use and so helpful in mapping out the narrative. I felt super confident going into our ceremony having reviewed the script beforehand. There were no surprises. Rev. Tan was readily available in the lead up to the day with some tips on the order of the readings and even gave us some pointers on crafting our personal vows. I especially appreciate him respecting our request to wear a face mask during our event. It's little details that really resonated with me given the times. He took care of our marriage license, sent us an image of the signed doc, and mailed it off to the county. Overall, I was so pleased with the ease of his service. I do hope to take him up on his offer for coffee one day when the world settles down a bit. Forever grateful he officiated our micro wedding!

From the beginning, she was incredibly timely and responsive--always replying quickly and thoroughly to any question we had. She went above and beyond by joining us for vendor meetings and venue tours, even when her presence wasn't strictly necessary, just to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Her extensive network of vendor connections gave us high-quality options that fit both our vision and our budget. Stephanie also shared practical tips on how to keep things budget-friendly, which allowed us to save without ever feeling like we were cutting corners. Her professionalism and commitment made us feel supported and confident every step of the way. Design & Aesthetic Stephanie has very sophisticated and aesthetic taste, and she elevated the vision we had for our wedding day while staying within our budget (which was tight). She personally helped arrange the table decorations so that everything looked cohesive, balanced, and elegant. The overall design reflected us perfectly as a couple, and with her touch, it felt elevated, intentional, and beautiful. Every detail was thoughtful, and she managed to create a stunning look without ever straying from the financial boundaries we set. Execution on the Big Day When it came to the big day, Stephanie's execution was flawless. She anticipated things we didn't even know to think about--for example, our 95-degree heat could have ruined the flowers, but because she ensured each bloom had its own water source, the arrangements stayed fresh through dinner. Our decorations were exactly as my wife envisioned, but even more stunning with the little touches Stephanie added. She set up our welcome table with minimal instruction (literally just a messy sketch and a box of random pictures, flowers, and decor) and turned it into something beautiful. She seamlessly coordinated a surprise serenade I performed for my wife, ensuring it was timed and staged perfectly. Stephanie executed her job extremely efficiently without ever drawing unnecessary attention to herself, working quietly in the background to keep everything moving smoothly. Every detail was handled with calm precision, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the day. Stephanie made our wedding seamless, stunning, and unforgettable.

She worked with my husband and I even with us being 2 hours away from her and our wedding being 3 hours away from each of us. Stephanie was able to take my hazy muddled "vibes" of a description and turned it into a beautiful vision. When my dad died and my mom broke nearly ever bone in her body in a car crash just 4 months before the wedding Stephanie became even more valuable, not just as a planner but as a human. I didn't know if I could move forward with the day. She had about 7 different plans in place depending on what I would need, be it pushing things back a year, cutting down the list, or canceling all together. Stephanie took a day that could have been filled with pain and made it stunning. She literally helped me make it down the aisle, and carved out the most beautiful moments to honor my dad all while keeping the day focused on the love my husband and I share. It is not an exaggeration to say I genuinely love Stephanie. She is an incredible planner and a more incredible human. I'm so utterly thankful my memories of this special day all have her smiling in the background, making magic happen.

Once we eventually got our photos back we could see just how badly she had done. She used fake flowers when we paid for real, used the literal cheapest decor everywhere possible. We were sold a dream and were left with unlit tacky candles, plastic walls, exposed sand bags and BARE minimum decor. Practically everything she did for us was CHEAP and TACKY. She lied to us about having "a team" when it was just her husband and son that evening. When we reached out for a refund she agreed (clearly she knew she didn't do a good job) but when it was time to pay us she ghosted us for a year despite multiple efforts. Stay far away!!!

They do serve lunch to 2pm. We were here to have lunch and then take pictures at their lavender farm. Hopping to catch some blooming lavender. Sadly, it was mostly a green garden w not much blooming lavender. There were a few other flowers blooming tho. Upon arrival.... Pros 1) plenty of parking. 2) location was plain but pretty and clean. 3) they had like 4 to 8 tables on the front by the parking area where you walk in. I saw a few people eating there. 4) they had a beautiful wooden table in the back on the grassy area with 6 chairs around it. That's where we sat for lunch. Our reservation was at 12pm. We got seated right away. Today was perfect to eat outside. There is no indoor seating or a restaurant here. I didn't see any. 5) there is a gift shop. But we didn't make it to see the inside 6) they serve salads and sandwiches here for lunch. Very simple and short menu. Their soup of the day today was tomato bisque. 7) our sandwiches and salads tasted fine. But salads are large portions. I could have shared my chicken salad with another. Sandwiches are normal size. Enough for one person. 8) Drinks were ok. Water tasted good. No funky or metal taste to it. 9) two porter potty bathroom but clean. Not the typical blue porter potties at putdoor events. A little nicer and it flushes. 10) our server was very nice. Cons 1) it took a long time to get our meals once we ordered. We were seated at 12pm. But we didn't get our salads and sandwiches till like an hourish later. By the time our foods came out, we sat to catch up and eat, and celebrate a bday, it was like 1:45ish already. Gift shop closes at 2pm. 2) our young server seems like she's still in training. But she was good. Wish they check on their customers more often. But maybe she was the only one taking orders. I don't know. 3) Conclusion This location was nice. Clean. Pretty. There wasn't any lavender blooming when we were there. But I heard it's a hit and miss to catch it in bloom too get beautiful pictures. It's ok though. We found other areas to get nice photos in. Foods were ok. Meh. But salads looked pretty and in large portions. Chicken on the salads were perfectly made. It was juicy and not dry. Each of our plates were $18. There is a small drinks menu. With both their menus being short, it made it so much easier to order something. Love that no one rushed us out after 2pm. We were allow to take our time on the area to take photos. They were setting up for a 4pm wedding. Not to bad here.

We looked through the recommended list of vendors and found Events by Wise. I reached out to Shari and she quickly responded with all the information I needed. Shari's team consists of not only a full service catering staff but also a team of experienced individuals and coordinators- which makes them an even better full service team to hire because they understand weddings and what is required for a successful event. Shari and her team went above and beyond to assure I had no worries at all! On top of this, the price was very reasonable!! The service included more than what we were quoted for elsewhere. We were able to offer the type of service we could only dream of providing. Water, wine and champagne were served table side. Our hors d'oeuvres were served on elegant platters by Shari's team. They placed all of the chargers, plates, cutlery, napkins and menus. They assisted wherever needed and assured everything was taken care of. I decided very last minute that I wanted a champagne welcome shelf for my guests and Shari's team executed this perfectly!! Shari's team worked gracefully with my wedding planner, caterer, and the events manager to make my wedding everything I envisioned. I would 100% hire Shari and her team again! After booking with Shari, my anxiety and stress disappeared. I knew, without a doubt, that I was in capable hands and could finally relax. Thank you Shari, Meredith, Megan, Andrea, Jackie & Austin!

I recently served as Matron of Honor for a wedding coordinated by "Events by Wise," and I want to…read moreshare my observations regarding my sister's (the bride's) treatment by Shari. One major issue was the lack of personal presence. Just three days before the wedding, Shari called to inform my sister that she would not attend due to a conflicting commitment to her granddaughter's 16th birthday. Although the contract stated Shari's presence was not guaranteed, she led my sister to believe she would be there to fulfill her vision for the day. Imagine the stress the bride felt upon hearing this news! My sister was overwhelmed with worry about whether the assistants would understand her vision as she had explained it to Shari during planning meetings. As someone with a background in high-end hospitality, I find this treatment of a client (especially a bride!) unprofessional and, frankly, mean. To add to the stress, my sister could not contact the assistants directly until the day before the wedding. While the assistants did a commendable job executing the wedding, some significant components were mishandled. The bridal party arrived at the bridal suite an hour before the ceremony was set to begin, fully ready after preparing at an Airbnb. However, just 30 minutes before the ceremony, one of the coordinators informed the bride that they were still figuring out how to get her out without the groom seeing her. This detail should have been sorted out earlier, ideally during the rehearsal. The ceremony, originally scheduled for 4 PM, did not start until 4:30 PM, which felt unacceptable. The wedding coordinator's primary role should be to ensure the schedule is followed. Additionally, we felt rushed despite waiting an hour in the bridal suite. At the ceremony site, the coordinators distributed bouquets but failed to bring the flower girl's basket, a cherished family heirloom. When this was pointed out, one coordinator dismissively stated, "Don't worry about it, we don't have time to go get it." This hurried feeling persisted into the reception. When it was time for the wedding party to enter the reception for our introductions, we were told last minute that we had to use a different entrance than what had been rehearsed due to a locked door. This lack of foresight caused confusion and disrupted the flow of the entrances. Although the wedding was absolutely magical and my sister had such thoughtful and beautiful touches throughout the ceremony and reception- there were elements that did not meet her expectations and her vision. She expressed disappointment about the dessert table, which Shari had promised would be stunning. While all the wedding guests thought it was a beautiful dessert display, if the bride wasn't satisfied with it- does it really matter what others think? The situation escalated when my sister wrote an honest review expressing her disappointment. Instead of addressing the issues professionally, Shari responded defensively and attacked my sister, even including false claims that she was an hour late to her own rehearsal!! This response felt shocking and unkind. Shari never apologized or reached out to my sister to discuss what went wrong. This wedding was especially emotional for our family, as the groom's father had passed away two months prior, and we were coping with the impending loss of our beloved aunt. It would have meant a lot if Shari had shown some compassion towards my sister, even if there were changes in plans. While no wedding is perfect, when hiring professionals, you expect warmth and respect. Given my experience, I cannot recommend Events by Wise." There are many other coordinators who will honor your special day with professionalism and kindness.
