I hired Amanda to create a French meal for my mom's 90th birthday party. Coq au vin, Dutchess potatoes, French onion soup, roasted vegetable Provencal--it was truly wonderful food. She came into my parent's home with her assistant Whitney, and in five hours created a deeply delicious and memorable meal for my family of 22. I was excited to use Amanda's services as she has excellent reviews on yelp and elsewhere. But unfortunately we never received a bid from her for our party. We made numerous attempts by email and by phone way in advance of our event. Despite several promises and apologies by email or phone that she would have pricing by a certain date, we only received excuses. By missing three promised deadlines she set herself, I could not trust her to cater my wife's 70th birthday. I have known Amanda since highschool and was ecstatic to hire her for my new store opening. I work for Ralph Lauren and we opened a new store in Napa back in May. Amanda was flexible with her schedule and was able to arrange her schedule to our needs. She was able to plan a menu for 7 days that fed 40-60 people. I found Delivered by Grace via Yelp so I wanted to make sure and come back to write a review. I cannot say enough positive things about Chef Amanda with Delivered by Grace. My husband and I hosted a Christmas party last night at our home and wanted a full holiday meal with appetizers, turkey, ham, sides, etc. Not only was the food outstanding, but Chef Amanda was a pleasure to work with....from start to finish. During the planning phase she was very prompt about responding to me and was accommodating when working with me to create the perfect menu for our event. She arrived at my home and was organized and timed the meal perfectly. The food.....oh my....the food was soooo good. My guests were talking about it all night. "That turkey was so flavorful and moist", "The stuffing was incredible. I've never had stuffing that good before." Presentation was great. Chef Amanda brought her own chafing pans, so my buffet looked professional with lovely presentation. She also had a sous chef working with her. Lisa and Chef Amanda worked so well together to make my event a success. They were respectful of my home and took care to safeguard my kitchen from any potential mishaps. The best part was when they left my kitchen was CLEAN! Additionally, the prices were very reasonable and fair. There are not many catering choices in Solano County that can provide you a more upscale experience, especially for a reasonable price.
