I've been here multiple times over the past few weeks. The restaurant is in a nice location, easily accessible in busy downtown Andover. The interior looks modern, but with wood walls. I usually get the All-In burger with sweet potato fries and a shake. Now the shake and sweet potato fries are usually pretty good. However, the burger tends to be a little small, and if there's cheese in it it can be a little overpowering. Another thing to keep note of is that the place is pricey! If you get a shake, burger, and fries, you can easily be looking at an almost $20 meal. In my opinion, while the fries and shakes are quite good, the burgers don't match up to local places like Fuddruckers in nearby North Andover. read more

So I had a free 15$ to spend here from a Nift promotion and I chose to walk out after experiencing the worst customer service from a cashier. The food could be good, I don't know because mid way while placing my order I was so put off by there attitude and and lack of customer service told them to forget about it and left. I have been going to u burger forever when I found out one opened so close to my house I flipped. As far as chain burger joints go this is the best. Get the cowboy burger you won't be sorry. We came here for lunch and ordered ucheeseburger, fries with cheese and bacon, and a strawberry malt. Also got two drinks from the cooler, the total came up to $21.74. The food was horrible. The malt had no malt, burger wasn't anything special (I'll go to McDonald's next time), the bacon on the fries was not cooked enough and was rubbery, and the cheese on the fries had a weird grainy texture and didn't taste right (it must have gone bad, but they served it anyways). As a reviewer stated earlier, it is really just a very expensive McDonalds. When it first opened the burgers were fantastic but as time has passed the food and preparation​ are just not that good. Made our first venture to the newly opened UBURGER in Andover. Big burger fans that we are, it pains to say that we were highly disappointed. We ordered their 'build-your-own' burger. Both orders were overcooked and bland to the taste. While the sweet potato fries and onion rings were better, the main event (I.e. the burgers) was very disappointing. I explained to a young man that I owned a business 1 mile from them and many times I needed to call in an order because of my short lunch breaks. I called in an order for two burgers: the basic cheese burger and one with a whole bunch of toppings. They told me only five minutes which seemed super fast. Took us slightly longer to get there. The restaurant was packed. There's no separate line for pick-ups so I got stuck behind 5 other customers including two girls who were giggling, flirting and taking forever as they spoke with the boy working the register. He even tried to take off to chat more before the woman directly in front of me objected. Yikes. So, the food is good. Decently priced and whatever the house sauce is was really tasty. Looked very cramped if you wanted to dine in and the noise level was super loud for the small space. I noticed some good beer flavors on tap. If I lived a bit closer then I might go back but I wouldn't make a special trip there again. read more

Once inside we recognized that this was a glorified fast food joint with over priced options. $20 got us 2 skimpy "premium" patties, minimal toppings and a small fry. The cashier taking my order complained to me about how it was getting busy then my friend told me she was talking shit about her coworkers when she took her order. It wasnt pleasant. Then she gave my friend a water cup and she filled it with juice and she walked up to our table and made my friend dump it out which was just about the dumbest shit ive ever witnessed. If it was possible to give these guys zero stars I would. Went there for a chicken sandwich and a burger both where DISGUSTING! The chicken was burnt and sour, the burger was greasy tasteless and just completely unacceptable. My wife called the management to complain, and they could not have been RUDER!!! The repose was "We can't do anything, it happens." Actually there is a lot you can do about it, and you can start by not treating us with disrespect. You can remake my food and not burn it, you could offer me credit towards my next meal in the HOPE that you cooks give two cents next time, or you could give me a refund and not just prove that you don't care about your customers. Food was ok but the man at the desk this afternoon was beyond short with myself and other customers. Two walked out and didn't come back. Alienated people for whatever they asked for to the extent that it was intimidating and everyone rushed to complete their order. Drinks, fries, and anything else not so great on pricing. Two burgers and a fries and a ring will cost you about $23-25 dollars. I've been a long time fan of UBurger. I was so so sad when they closed the Downtown Boston location, but eagerly awaited this location to open up. I came here once a few months ago, and service was slow, but the food was of good quality as expected. But I am seriously disappointed by my experience tonight. I was so excited to go to Uburger tonight, and I checked the hours to make sure they'd be open past 9. I called around 9:30.... And nobody picked up. I called twice more and again there was no answer. At this point I was pulling in the parking lot. I didn't want to arrive too late and burden the employees, so that's why I tried to call ahead. Well, when I got there, all chairs were stacked on the tables and nobody was in sight. I was seriously so frustrated. If you don't plan to stay open for your advertised hours, then at least adjust them! I've loved UBurger for a long while but will no longer be a customer. It's inexcusable for a location to have shotty service especially as a small company. Quality assurance is not difficult with only a few locations. A decent burger in the increasingly competitive premium burger space. I went with the house cheeseburger to gauge it against the competition. Bun is somewhere between a potato roll and a Kaiser- not super soft but not overly dry either. Size is between a Fuddruckers/Sauce ( a local joint) and 5 Guys/Shake Shack/Tasty Burger. Of all of those, this fits somewhere in the middle. As a local I'll probably come again but I wouldn't drive out of my way for this. I did think the fries were great, they are the small McDs-type which I do like. My buddy and spent $27 for 2 burgers, 2 fries, a Coke and a Frappe which seems about what the new non fast food/junk food burger joints run now. read more

I've only had one burger, two times: the Boom Burger, and it's really, really good! I've had the onion rings and the fries with cheese. The cheese on the fries is a little chunky, so I wouldn't really recommend that. But otherwise, definitely a great place for a burger. The staff has been absolutely amazing both times I've been there. I love to dip my burger in ranch dressing, but forgot to ask for it before I paid. It's only 30 cents, but so many chains INSIST on making you pay for dipping sauces. The manager gave it to me no problem. This sounds so silly, but it really makes a difference! Also, I went for the second time and someone else took my to-go order. I had to wait for them to make my order over, and the same manager handed me both my order and the person's who took my original order and apologized up and down for making me wait just 5 extra minutes. The food isn't spectacular, but the atmosphere and staff make it worth the trip!! read more
