I never even thought that corporate franchise business might do that to you. But here is what happened. I brought in my ASUS Zenbook for repairs of a screen. There was a huge crack in the middle of a screen, making the touchpad unusable. I brought my own screen, bought from asus website but I was told that in this case the repairs won't be covered. And for a screen from their screen I have to wait. That's alright I thought. Two days later, got a call saying the part has arrived. They fixed pretty quick, no issues here. Bringing laptop home I realized the bezel is not afixed correctly, there are lots of glue all over the screen and small crack in the corner. Not sure if it happened when I opened the laptop or they gave it like this to me. Brought it back. And that's where the circus begun. "Screen functioning with no issues so we can only refund the labor" - their words. So not only the new "broken" screen is never been covered, the broken bezel is not covered as well. Pretty cool this place makes house calls! It all began my IPHONE XS Max I noticed a slight crack in the screen. When I bought my phone from AT & T I also took the insurance. Probably because the phone was expensive. So I contacted A T & T and they have you put in a claim online. You chose going to a store and waiting several hours or have someone come to you? No brainer considering it was $29. either way. Got an appointment on Monday they call first come to the door with a mask on. Has you show him the phone making sure there is no other damage. Terrible Service. They make you wait outside for over 5 minutes without even bothering to greet you or say "i'll be with you shortly". They gave me a phone with a broken screen after I pay $250 for a new one, plus a case, plus a screen protector. I took it back when I realized the screen was broken (screen protector & case were intact) and they expected me to pay $250 again to get it replaced. I spoke to a rep from Samsung and from uBreakifix and they told me to bring my TV 65" in for repair at the Biscayne store and when i get there after carrying this huge TV the store person tells me they dont repair TV's there. Horrible!! This location may be good for fixing phones but do not take your laptop to them. Not only did they break my laptop further than just the initial screen repair they missed 4 screws on the back and the other screws are stripped. They have a bunch of kids working there who are unprofessional and have no idea what customer service looks like. You know how panic sets in when you can't access your files? Yeah, that's what I felt when my laptop refused, in spite of the step-by-step instructions on how to close the airplane mode didn't work. Referring me to further info online when connecting to the WiFi was the initial issue just added to my frustration. Then I remembered a while back I had an issue with something technical and this little shop real close to the house helped direct me. So I called and had it not been for a sudden thunderstorm ... the next day.... the laptop went to visit and within several minutes- no more airplane mode. I went to repair the i- phone of My son 3 months ago. They changed the screen and they fixed it for 180 $. On top of it I purchased the extra screen to save it from the impacts. 3 days ago the touch screen stopped working but since there was Memorial Day in between I decided to bring it in today. They told me that my warranty was expired 4 days ago and I had to pay in full again with a discount of 25 $! I prefer to bring my money somewhere else! Terrible!!!! read more

The first thing I want to say is that, I could have been taken advantaged of and wasn't! I visited the North Miami store with a problem with my laptop today because it was stuck in airplane mode and would not log on to the network. After my wife and I tried everything we could, even googling the problem, Still no luck! The computer is being used for home schooling my 4 yr. old granddaughter who has been using it for several months with no issues and suddenly it stopped working. After Eric ( I think that was his name) worked on the computer for a few minutes he said, it looked like a hardware problem, and I thought , here we go.....get your wallet out! Then a pause and he said he had found the problem. Buried in all the function keys there was a key with an antenna on it. It apparently puts the computer into airplane mode and can not be disconnected by any other means ( believe me we tried everything) on the computer. Thank you for being honest! R Scott read more

This was a horrible experience - if 0 stars were an option I would select that. I will never use this company again. If you are reading this I recommend you steer clear. Suspect ability to troubleshoot laptop errors (at best) and I felt like they were trying to get me to buy hardware that I didn't actually need. I thought this may have been related to poor troubleshooting but as it continued it seems likely it was intentional. I dropped my laptop off on 3/8/2022 and was told it would take "4 or 5 days to fix it". I picked my laptop up on 5/6/2022 and it is not fixed. Let me be clear - it has the same exact issue(s). First, instead of 4-5 days I heard nothing for two weeks. Then I called the store and they had not even STARTED the diagnosis. Heads up, about 1 out of every 3 times I called the store (during business hours) did someone pick up. A couple days later I get a call that it was my RAM that was bad. They said replace the RAM and you'll be set. I agree, they say it'll take a few days to ship but should be ready to go sometime next week. The following week I get a call asking how much RAM, I said I wanted to stay at 16GB of RAM. They said I only had 12 GB. The employee would not believe me until they opened up my laptop and physically saw that it had 16 GB of RAM. So the 16 GB of RAM comes and gets installed. I get a call to come pick it up. When I arrive at the store the employee pulls out the laptop and starts it up. Only for the SAME EXACT ERROR to occur. So turns out I had just wasted $130 on RAM that wasn't actually the problem. The error does not always occur after startup. It would seem the employee swapped out the RAM, turned it on once without the error occurring, and then let the battery die because they had to plug it in to turn it on. The employee says "oh I didn't realize you had Windows 11, that could be the problem". This was after the other customer in the store had an issue that arose immediately after installing Windows 11, so perhaps just grasping at something fresh in the mind to placate me, not to mention the laptop had been with them in the store over a month at this point. In that time they failed to even know what OS my laptop had! The plan was for them to move it back to Windows 10 and see if that fixed it. Fast forward almost a month to last week. I had called several times earlier in the week and not gotten through to anyone. On Wednesday I finally get someone to pick up the phone. Asking what's taking so long and explain the laptop I was borrowing through work had to be returned on Friday 5/6. Turns out in the past month they had not changed the OS back from 11 to 10. Seems like they'd done absolutely nothing to work on my laptop. They say they'll change the OS and let me know. I get a call the next day saying they looked into my error online and found that it meant the thermal coupling needed to be replaced. No mention of changing the OS that they thought might be the issue before. The employee was convincing that this was the issue based on their online research. They said they'd install this and get back to me. Then as the conversation was winding down they added that they thought my SSD might be "nearing the end of it's life" and that I should get a new one. They talked about how rare my SSD is and that we should order it right away so that it would get here in time. My SSD is 18 months old. It's rather unlikely it's nearing the end of it's life. Furthermore, my exact SSD is $35 on eBay with over 200 available. I wouldn't call that rare. At this point, I'm aware I've already been talked into (perhaps even intentionally misled into) getting new RAM that I didn't need. I said absolutely not to the new SSD. This felt completely like they wanted me to waste more money on hardware I didn't need. They didn't say their was anything wrong with the SSD, just a vague statement about nearing the end of it's life to try to scare me into getting a new one. The laptop had felt like it was getting hotter than it should so I agreed to the other part. They called on 5/5 to say it was ready and I picked it up on 5/6. Frankly, at this point I just wanted my laptop back to look into fixing it myself or taking it somewhere else. I pay ~$180, $130 of that for the new RAM that I did not need. I pick up the laptop from the counter after paying. Walk to my car and realize they had failed to even put the screws back in that hold the underside of the laptop in place and the rubber grip strips are also gone. I got back in and they threw in some screws, clearly a mismatch of whatever was lying around, not the screws that were in it originally, and no sign of the rubber grip strips. They could not even properly put the machine back together after working on it. Completely unprofessional to give a customer a product in that shape in any industry. I get home and fire up my laptop to see if it's fixed. Turned out it isn't fixed. The same errors are still happening. Seems they again put in the new part a read more

Let me start off by saying this is a real review from a real person. One who thought he was really screwed. So my girlfriend dropped my phone in the water and that's where it all started. Not being a fan of iCloud I hadn't backed up my phone in over 9 months. I thought I lost everything thousands of photos new contacts etc.. etc.. man was I really going to have to start all over again. After hearing about how expensive it was going to be from Apple to recover my data if I would be able to at all.
