Just moved down here and a friend recommended Ubora because he knows the owner--and it's veteran owned, which is a big plus. I was welcomed immediately when I walked in, which made me feel right at home. I ordered a vanilla latte with almond milk, a chocolate chip muffin, and a pup cup for my dog. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuine. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing or getting a little work done. Went here for the first time the other day to meet a friend. It smelled so good inside! I ordered an iced chai with salted caramel cold foam, it was recommended by the barista! Oh my goodness, it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly! My friend and I both enjoyed our drinks and conversation. There's plenty of seating and wasn't crowded when we were there. This suburban stop lacks the atmosphere of its downtown counterpart, but it is clearly of the same vintage. The wifi password is "excellence". They didn't have my first choice pastry (and donuts are coming but not there yet as of this writing); nonetheless my spinach and feta croissant delivered a delightfully browned exterior and strong taste. Their London Fog, which I got with lavender, was a more cohesive flavor experience than I had with their chai. A drive-through was available for those on the go, and this place is notably open on Sunday, when it's hard to find anything in this area. read more

I think I've probably been here every morning for the past week. The espresso macchiato with SF caramel is SO GOOD. The espresso is pressed and pulled perfectly. Everyone is so nice. I haven't been inside yet, but I'm sure it has a great chill vibe. It's a little pricey but it's specialty coffee and better than Starbucks. So I can't complain. read more

Not the best experience with first encounter. I never actually got served. According to the reviews, it probably would have been a good cup of coffee. I hesitate to say more at this time but I will go to their Evans location to see if service is better. Until then, I look forward to seeing how others do. read more

I LOVE ubora and the downtown location, but this one is dare I say a little bit better! It feels more inviting and comfortable. The lot they are on is not totally ideal because it literally pops up out of nowhere while you're driving, if you drive too fast you may miss it. While I do love my coffee I took a chance and got the Chai here once, and now I have to alternate when I come between the two lol. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. There's always a fear with the sequel. Whether it's a movie or book or band album, you have this anticipatory tension that it might not be as good. I do the same with restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. And so when Ubora announced a second location, I was like "hmmm." But let me save you the worry, it's all good. I took Benny (a furry family member) and went by to check it out. I was surprised how it is tucked in on Belair Road. You're just driving then BAM, there it is. Drive-through, patio seating, and all. As we entered, the decor and ambiance caught my eye (as did the aroma of their espresso being crafted). That standard of excellence is still at work. I went for an Americano (as I favor theirs in the area). As I made my way to the patio, I was informed it is covered in a specialty paint that keeps the surface temperature down (aka, great for protecting little paws). Per usual, service and speed were top notch. And then, that Americano. I whiffed, I sniffed, and I sipped. Some see repetition as mundane. I see it as consistency of quality. And it was gloriously consistent! I look forward to future visits and am happy to see them expanding their "grounds" (pun intended) in the area. read more

This is by far our favorite coffee place now! The associates are so sweet and welcoming. Today we visited the Evans location on North Belair Rd. and tried the Herbal Tranquility Elexir and the Shaken Strawberry Lemonade. Both excellent summer drinks. Extremely refreshing! Highly recommend you get them since they are seasonal and will be discontinued soon. AND to top it off, if you leave a review you get a free drink!!! I love Ubora Coffee! I always get an iced French Madeleine with oatmilk. They are quick to fix issues with coffee. For example, the first time I came here I got a coffee that I didn't like at all and they fixed it by giving me a French Madeleine which was way sweeter than the drink I originally wanted, and I fell in love with it. Super nice to have a Ubora location in Evans! I've been here a few times since it has opened and each time has been very pleasant. It seems like the staff have a good hang of making the various drinks now and everyone is very friendly! Coffee is lovely quality and I love taking home bags of their whole bean coffee. It's very spacious inside and there are different types of seating areas from small and large tables to comfy chairs. I've gotten work done a few times here as well and never had any issues logging on to their WiFi. I haven't tried their food options yet but am planning to do so in the future. To start off this place has a nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in you're greeted by someone behind the counter. The coffee is freshly brewed most of the time or you can get your very fresh and hot espresso drinks. My go to is usually the Vietnamese Coffee, either hot or cold. It's a strong coffee made already sweet and ready to drink as is when you get it. They have some good choices of light snacks like spinach feta croissants, some sweets and their breakfast style sandwiches on croissant or an Asiago Cheese bagel. Sandwiches have a little smear of cream cheese on them which makes them a good companion to their coffees. All that and they have a points/rewards program. If you like coffee I'd give it a try. read more

Ambiance is inviting, it's a nice quiet place to study. Big tables and clean restrooms.

The espresso drinks are the highest quality. I haven't met anyone yet who actually likes Starbucks espresso. Definitely go here instead and it is much faster service. I have been through the drive through twice and I agree with another reviewer that there needs to be more training with the employees due to confusion. The sourdough melt doesn't look or taste like sourdough. It has cream cheese, gouda and some red paste. I was so hungry that I ate most of it before taking a pic but I would recommend they not sell this sandwich anymore. My total for an iced flavored latte and this sandwich was over $12. read more

I've been a few times and the coffee is delicious, the drive thru is very convenient. It can be a little weird having to go thru the parking lot and making a u-turn into the drive way if you are coming from the opposite direction. The sandwiches are also delicious and a good portion for lunch or breakfast. The ambiance is pretty quiet and seems to inspire more of a community workspace with long tables and smaller tables along the windows. Also a patio space outdoors which is a nice option as well. There's one sofa seating area that's placed near the door and restrooms. It is very clean and an overall great experience there. For cons, one reoccurring issue is the drive through service seems to struggle with taking orders. Either the intercom volume isn't set to a level where staff can hear well on the other end or perhaps more training on the pos is needed to alleviate confusion and more efficient ordering. On several occasions I've repeated my order at least 3-4 times and then again at the window. I sadly wish that was an exaggeration. The staff is so sweet and politely all the time which makes me come back and the food and drinks always come out just right, but there's definitely training and development needed to better support and avoid future customer frustration when taking orders.
