Such a cute spot!! I got the Permit which I did enjoy. Make it 16 oz with oat milk, and you got yourself a $9 drink :/ Prices are high here. The vibes are immaculate here - it's quiet inside but super cozy, and the outside looks retro, as if it was an old gas station or drive-thru converted into a coffee shop.

Such a cute spot in the heart of Augusta. The decor and ambiance is stunning. A great spot to study, plenty of sunlight and space. I ordered a winter latte which had a hint of chai in it. I would not say it was my favorite but quite unique and intrigued to try the other lattes. The barista is quite talented, the coffee art was great. They definitely what they are doing here.

Trellis is a beautiful coffee shop. What brings me back here is the ambience. It is so aesthetically pleasing. I usually come here to study and it is near the university. The drinks are well presented and they have unique drink selections as well. The drinks are decent but I wish they'd have more variety.

Warning to all readers - I am not a coffee shop girl (I know, blastphemy!) so take any feedback here or on other coffee reviews with that in mind. I only went to Trellis one time before moving from Augusta for the same reason stated above (nothing against coffee shops, it's just I preferred to drink coffee and work at home). However, many of my colleagues went here *at least* once a week if not more than that after it opened. There are tons of coffee and tea items to choose from as well as baked goods, including focciatta that looked so beautiful and tasty. The ambience of the place is just so cute. There are lots of seating areas, down to just one person there alone to a larger group wanting to sit at a big table. When I did go, there were many people there sitting alone working on their laptops. I can see now why so many people enjoy this place! The location of the place off Walton Way is great for people who work at or near the medical school or university. There is plenty of parking on site which makes it an easy place to visit. Happy this place opened up in the area!

As someone who drinks coffee everyday, I'm not easily wowed anymore. I have my go to favorites in Atlanta but I'm never shocked by a good drink...until today. I was visiting family in Augusta and my friend told me I had to come to Trellis and get their Salted Caramel. It was half a mile from where I was going to I made a quick stop in. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two guys behind the bar. Super friendly, very welcoming and made a point to ask about my favorite hat that I was wearing. (Small service oriented details that mean the world to me) I ordered my drink and it came out pretty quick. It was obvious from presentation alone that this was going to be a great drink. From the first sip, the espresso, caramel, Oatmilk and salt immediately hit my palate at the same time. Heaven. When I say this is arguably one of the best drinks I've ever had, that's no exaggeration. It was GOOD. I honestly can't wait to come back to Augusta and get another. The shop was nice and spacious. I saw plenty of people here working. If I had time to sit and stay, I would've had two more drinks. Easy 5/5 for me.

Fantastic coffee and nice people! A good place to grab a coffee with friends, read, or catch-up on work. A lovely place to sit, with pretty painted walls. A pleasant and trendy place.

I visited a fairly new coffeehouse (opened Oct2023) "Trellis Coffee Bar" for coffee and one of their freshly baked goods. The building is remodeled from an original gas station and it's very cute be it small on the inside. The coffee was perfect, though they DO NOT have any sugar free options I did choose a latte. I also added a sea salt focaccia which tasted superb. The girl's at the counter were very nice and patient. I arrived later in the morning, after 11am so the options of baked items I wanted to try were already sold out. They make them from scratch so only so many items are available daily. I recommend Trellis for a quick stop or a sit and sip...

Sea salt focaccia and pistachio orange shortbread

The distinctive garage atmosphere of this shop does require you to find parking, which is often crowded. It may be due in part to the bike shop next door, but plenty of people are in here as well, and it's a nice place to sit. I, however, wanted something quick, and their baked goods are served immediately. It wasn't a long wait for a beverage either. I found their chai mild in flavor, lacking distinctiveness but adding contrast to what I ate. The basic sea salt foccacia was immensely fluffy, and one could not accuse it of having too little sea salt or olive oil. An orange pistachio shortbread was likewise unsubtle in delivering the flavors it promised. The baked goods were certainly worth a visit.

i love trellis. I am ALWAYS in there studying, reading or chatting with friends. The coffee is always good, the music they play is always the best! The overall vibes in there are chill, normal volume (not overly loud but definitely not quiet) and place is well kept. The only issue is seating, sometimes you have to wait a while before you can get a seat but that's not their fault, just a heads up! depends on the time you go usually. i would highly recommend trellis!!!

What a delight! Stopped by Trellis Coffee Bar for coffee and a bite on a weekday morning and boy are they bustling! It can be hard to find a spot but fortunately some kind folks made space for me on the sofa. Initially, I tried to order a breakfast sandwich but unfortunately they were out (again, bustling!). Fortunately the server had suggestions for other savory breakfast items, which I much appreciated. I opted for the ham and cheese focaccia slab which was outta this world. Lightly sea salted with nice chunks of ham and cheese--their focaccia is literal perfection. The portion is huge! For my beverage, I got the mint mocha, which was beautifully rendered. The espresso was pitch perfect. The rosemary sprig garnish was a nice touch. The service was lovely, and though bustling, the customers were also wonderful and everyone seemed to be conspiring to make room and ensure all were comfortable while they caffeinated. Get to it! (seriously! now!)

I had an amazing first time at Trellis! It was perfect for a morning coffee with a friend. I got one of the seasonal drinks, the Good Neighbor, and it was delicious! I wasn't sure how the browned butter would taste in the drink, but it was surprisingly good. It added just a hint of saltiness and complimented the drink well. I also tried their B.E.C. sandwich without the Sriracha sauce and was not disappointed. There is plenty of seating inside whether you want to sit on a comfortable couch or need a table to set up your laptop for studying or work. I will definitely be visiting again to try some more of their food and beverages. It is definitely worth a visit if you are nearby!

The FOMO was real and I just had to finally come try this place. Menu is pretty straightforward, the staff were super friendly. I love the vibe of this place so much, and I also love how they have a bunch of different seating. I can imagine sitting on the outdoor patio when it gets a little warmer. I got the salted caramel latte and it was delicious, I didn't even realize they used black salt for the drink, I do wish it was a little more caramel tasting because the salt cut through very much.

From the exterior charm of the old service station, to the beautifully and uniquely remodeled interior Trellis Coffee Bar is absolute must! I think the best way to describe our first experience at Trellis is absolutely wonderful! The staff was very patient and attentive to any questions we had. The order came out quickly, and the presentation was terrific. We ended up ordering two different latte's off of the seasonal menu, which were easily some of the best cups of coffee we have ever had. We will definitely be visiting again.

Such was the case with this coffee shop. The location is the first selling point. Right on the corner of 8th and Greene Street. You might not notice it except for in the evening. The large windows in the front allow the light from inside to spill out. During the day, you get the opposite. The sun gives this place such a warm glow. I already love 8th Street because it is unique with its presence of pine trees (all the way to the riverfront), but is also home to some amazing other businesses. Walking in, you are greeted by plenty of seating selection and smiling team members. The coffee bar is straight ahead with the options. I have to give props to the design team as they did an amazing job with the overall theme, the rustic industrial feel. Again, the contrast of the dark wood and white walls with the sunlight is perfect. They will let you know upfront that they are the fruit of a collaborative effort by United Methodist Churches in the area. The primary goal is to provide a coffee shop where college students can come to study, fellowship, and grow. I mention this because I also want to add that, based on my observation, this was the only religious reference present. So know that there aren't various sayings on the walls that might offend or disturb the atmosphere. Also, because it falls under the churches, it is a nonprofit. This means payment is suggested, they can't charge per se. So have an idea of what you think a latte or hot cup of coffee is worth to you. I went with a nitro cold brew coffee and was told their cold brew and all of their beans come from Stone Roastery (in North Augusta). It is good to hear them supporting local and not trying to produce something they may not be ready for just yet. There is free WiFi and soft acoustic music playing and the invitation to come and setup to work anytime (without them knowing the company I work for). I look forward to returning soon. Stop by, if your schedule allows. Currently they are open Monday-Wednesday, 11 am-3 pm. They hope to expand hours soon.

Bodega isn't going anywhere, I am. And as I begin the moving process I have created a mental list of places I will miss in the Augusta area. And trust me, I know all the places. Fancy, hole-in-the-wall, no online presence, hyper online presence. I know all about them. And Bodega has consistently been a go-to spot for me over the years. Typically it is a Sunday morning/early afternoon, with a cup of coffee, and about half the time a soft shelled crab sandwich. Every other time, I throw caution to the wind. Could be a biscuit. Could be a pulled pork sandwich or The Lox. Who knows. But here's what I do know. The service, ambiance, and quality of what I order is always always at a level of excellence. And where else can you interact with the furry team member (Ash) as part of the experience? Such a relaxing spot, with the ceiling fans cooling you off (and the table fans keeping flies at bay) and the fountain trickling in the background. Please, if you are in the area be sure to go by and make up for my absence!

Yelp nudged us toward New Moon Cafe, and while the signage from the street is minimal enough that we almost walked past it, we eventually found our way inside and were glad we did. At 12:30 on a Saturday the timing worked in our favor. We stepped right up to the counter with no queue at all, placed our order, and settled in. By the time our food arrived about fifteen minutes later, the line had grown to the point where people were waiting nearly that long just to order, which gave the whole place that lively, slightly chaotic weekend energy without ever feeling rushed. Mrs. K chose the smoked salmon bagel, which came out panini pressed, a small twist on a classic that she enjoyed. I am still keeping things keto, so the chef's salad with blue cheese was exactly what I needed, a generous portion that felt balanced and satisfying without pushing me off track. They offer plenty of coffee drinks and smoothie combinations, but we kept things simple and were perfectly happy with our choices. There is outdoor seating if that is your preference, and the whole experience had that relaxed, local charm that makes Augusta lunches feel unhurried even when the dining room is filling up around you.
