I stopped by here on the way to Aiken, and it's the perfect spot to just relax with a cup of coffee. I went and got an iced dirty chai and an iced matcha latte. It costs like the average coffee shop, except you're ALSO getting friendly customer service. When I went, the staff were just talking to me making sure my day was going well and what I was up to that day. The inside has some seating including outdoor seating. Connected to it, is a bar which is open at nights which is really a plus whether you want coffee or a drink. Definitely worth a pitstop here! read more

Trying to kill some time in North Augusta we decided to pop in here for a cup of coffee and a sweet treat. The place is cute with very typical coffee house vibe. Lots of little tables and a cosy sitting area. As you enter there is a little counter where you order. The two young ladies working were very nice and answered all our questions. Mom got regular coffee with a caramel shot. I had the " Almond Joy" specialty coffee which didn't really taste like an almond joy but was good. There is a little area to add sweetness and creamers. We also got a salted chocolate chip cookie to share. It was really delicious. I was enjoying it until I realized Fox News was on which instantly dampened my enthusiasm. The coffee and service was great but there are plenty of coffee places where that's and Fox isn't blasting. I won't be back. read more

The breakfast wrap was delicious. The ingredients were fresh. The tortilla shell was soft yet had a nice crisp. The filling was superb--the perfect amount of filling consisting of perfectly cooked scrambled egg and meat. I will return and order this. The latte was good but next time I will order an extra shot and I wish it had been a little hotter. I had to take the cinnamon roll home because I was too full to eat it there. This is a great local coffee shop in downtown North Augusta with classic coffee and even select alcoholic beverages. If you are looking for a fancy Starbucks-like triple mocha whipped blended with 2% coconut milk from Brazil with macadamia nut whip at teenager temp this is not the place. They keep it simple and it's good. My only complaint is the size of the coffee, I ordered the large and it is the size of your typical small at any other coffee place. Like I said it's not like a big chain-type coffee spot so if you want high vibes and quality simple coffee this your spot. The workers are fantastic and very welcoming, I'll be back to try out some of their pastries and stay awhile in their cozy interior seating area. read more

There are a few places I take everyone who comes to visit. They are categorized (i.e. dessert, bourbon, etc.) and in a mental numerical order. One such category is coffee. And one location on the list is Cavalier's. Whether it's a pour over, Americano, seasonal latte, or even a glass or wine, beer, or hard cider they have you covered. Now if that wasn't enough to draw you in, just know that it is geographically located as close to the center of the Augusta-Aiken area as possible. Right in downtown North Augusta, on past the turn for SRP Park, you'll see them alongside a few other businesses. There's the indoor space just as you enter and just past the bar, but the place to be is outside. There you'll find tables abounding and yes plenty of shade as well. If the kids need to run around or you just prefer to roll out a blanket, there's even a space with artificial turf. That's also where the stage for music on regular occasions will be located. And don't worry, if you have a need of an event space where people would like to be inside they have you covered (literally). This is a very quaint and cute coffeehouse!! I tasted a really original flavor a "Pina Colada" Iced Latte! It was Pina Colada minus the pineapple!! It was a unique flavor that was actually really tasty! There was no food on menu, I just saw coffee and spirits! In addition to the good coffee, they had great service. The barista was very helpful and friendly. I'd like to go back and taste some other combinations though or taste a hot coffee to really be able to say it's GREAT! read more

Dropped in on Saturday, neat place. Bigger than we expected with a private party room, outdoor patio space and additional seating along the sidewalk area. Staff was extremely friendly. Didn't really have a chance to hang out much because they were closing at 5:30. Who closes that early on a Saturday?! Two different groups and a single individual showed up after they closed. Great coffeehouse located in North Augusta. The weather was great and I was able to sit outside and get some studying done. But there's also indoor seating in case sitting outside isn't feasible or not your thing. I stayed for serveal hours and tried the honey lavender latter and the blackberry tea Lemonade. I enjoyed both drinks and would get them again! They do have beer and wine....looking forward to visiting again with friend especially when they have live music. I have been meaning to try Cavalier's for a long time now. I frequent the UPS store next door (I love a good Amazon return), so I always see happy people coming and going from Cavalier's coffeehouse. Today, I am one of those happy people! I walked into the calm and clean environment of Cavalier's and was greeted warmly. The entrance area wasn't too big, but there is some seating off to the side, and there were some people working on their computers. When I went to order, I let them know I had never been before, so the barista kindly and patiently showed me the menu and let me decide. I wanted a latte, and there are SO many different syrup options. I went with Lavender + Honey, and it did not disappoint! Sweet and full, a great cup of coffee! I made my way out to the HUGE outside patio to enjoy the beautiful day, but there is additional indoor seating in the back as well. This would be a great place to relax in the evening with a glass of wine as well! Cavalier's fits anyone's coffee shop needs - a good place to sit and chat with friends outside, or a good place to sit alone and work quietly. I will definitely be back! read more

After a depressing morning, all I wanted was a good cup of coffee and a place to study peacefully. I was recommended to go to Cavalier's Coffeehouse and I have no regrets. When I walked in, it was a little smaller than I expected but it is a cute little cafe with three tables and a cozy sofa section. It wasn't very crowded and the music was at a decent volume for you to be able to think and work/study. As for the coffee itself, I got the drink of the week which is Cinnamon Dulce Latte (1/3 cinnamon, 1/3 caramel, and 1/3 honey). They seem to have different deals every day of the week which is very nice so look out for them! And guess what, it was real coffee! Not burnt or overly sweet (as if they are trying to hide something *cough cough* Starbucks). They only have one size available which kind of sucks but as a person who always orders small, it was perfect for me. The price range was good as well; my latte was $4.50ish. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want to get away from the downtown part of Augusta and want to just work/study in peace. read more
