So I did. Once I got there this dude tells me he's got a broken down car in the middle of the road all my mechanics are gone bla blah. Mind you this is 5mins before having the conversation to come SO I said fine screw it I'll come tomorrow and he said OKAY please come tomorrow we will be ready for you same time. Ok cool. Tomorrow comes around and I go to work and after I go to this god forsaken dealership straight out of Baghdad and "John smith" who shares my same name says he's never heard of my situation and that the owner is actually out today for a funeral. Ok well the funeral didn't get planned AFTER we made plans for me because that was just F*****n YESTERDAY sooooo I said whatever man I'll go tomorrow. And John is like sweet ok awesome Last day I show up and this diaper head tells me my window is broke and then gets all pissed off and mad when I said ok fix it this is the whole reason I'm here. The elevated 2 Star rating was because they were able to squeeze my unscheduled maintenance in and provide me an estimate. My vehicle's issue was a check engine light. I already had the code read at Auto Zone and provided CB with the P0128 code to target the repair. I discussed the issue with AJ and he mentioned he sees this issue frequently so I thought I was in good hands. We skipped the courtesy inspection to get my vehicle in and out quickly because I had an urgent family issue. They sent me an estimated cost to replace the thermostat engine coolant assembly for my vehicle to be over ~$1270 including $724 for the part alone. I told AJ that was too much $$$ and that I would pick up my vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle I told AJ I found the OEM part online for hundreds of dollars cheaper and he said that his parts system had that price. You will see similar posts from other CB customers about over priced parts. I should've listened to that feedback but the CB shop is close by and convenient. I was ready to pick up my vehicle. That's when AJ told me I had a $160 diagnostic bill. I asked him for what since I told them specifically what to target and that was their same conclusion. AJ told me that they had to pay for the mechanic's time. That same diagnostic took Auto Zone a few minutes so $160 for nothing new is outrageous! I tried CB about five years ago and they messed up the shocks on my 1968 Pontiac Firebird and it was a fiasco to get remedied by them and take accountability. I chalked that up to an older vehicle and thought I'd give them another shot on my 2016 vehicle. Fool me once shame on me....fool me twice....I highly recommend looking elsewhere. The bill to replace the thermostat assembly with the OEM part ended up being 50% of CB's cost. They should replace the C with an S on their name for Shady Brothers.

Paul worked with me & the timing was not right to purchase a car. But as of September 18th, 2021 I went in confident I would be leaving the lot with a new car and I did just that.
