A failing ranking for a failing post office. They are in a prime location and could do so much better than they do. The fading utility of our postal service is personified by this location. The Largo Post Office gives the absolute worst service imaginable. Poor customer service. They take their time when assisting customers. For example, each time I come to simply pick up a package the door is always closed with a sign that reads, "If door closed join line" Several minutes later the door opens and majority of everyone in line was there to pick up a package. Instead of them to check the window every FEW minutes they wait several minutes when the line has gotten long and then take their time to assist each customer locating their package. Every time I return to this special level of purgatory, the line is longer, it moves slower, and the service is subpar at best. * Since you will likely be eligible for social security by the time you reach the front of the line, you will be infinitely bored while waiting since there is also no signal. (Apparently, this post office is not only where efficiency and happiness come to die, but also where cellphone signals come meet their doom, as well.) * There appears to be mold on the ceiling tiles. Having to go to the post office isn't one of those events that you get excited about. The anticipation of long lines and not-so-friendly overworked mail clerks has got us all writing more and more emails these days. But in the off chance that you DO have to go to a post office and can make their ridiculously inconvenient business hours, I would say this is an okay place to go. Don't expect a lot of laughs or smiles and you'll find this place agreeable. My new favorite feature is the lady who stands at the front of the line trying to help all those waiting as much as she can. Her help will include giving you the right labels, pointing you to the right post office products, making suggestions for the type of mailing services you should use, and checking anything you've already packaged up. Much to my chagrin, the last time I went in the post office frustrated me because I had all the items that could not be shipped off in the packages I brought them in. I had tried to recycle and reuse old packaging material but quickly found out that is not allowed because that would make too much sense. However irritating the policy, the lady helped me rearrange my things as quick as she could while simultaneously keeping the line moving behind me so that I didn't hold others up. It was quite efficient--saving me and many others additional time and frustration. Is this the greatest post office to be in? No. But to be honest with you, I am not sure that I've ever heard anyone refer to any post office as a "great post office". Going to the post office is simply one of those things everyone likes to exhaust all other possibilities before resorting to. Even still, I won't rate this place poorly just because I hate being there. So a neutral 3-star rating is probably most fair. read more

This post office employees some of the most miserable people I have ever encountered. Also, someone is stealing packages. Complaints have been filed against this post office 3 times on my behalf. Advice : pay the extra money so UPS has to deliver it themselves as opposed this post office. During my last visit a man was having the same issue and I asked him where he stayed and he actually lived in my complex. My package currently reads out for delivery since Saturday I have yet to receive it the post office doesn't know where it is and tracking has not updated since it was placed here. I am Extremely disappointed with the lack of service in this establishment!!! My package has been lost for almost a month now. I have spoken with the manager and all I get is I will make some calls, I will send an email!! Yet I have to call back every freaking day because NO ONE follows up with me!! Yall LOST MY PACKAGE!! Which was full of things I sell!! This is my Business and they could care less!! No one seems willing to help me! I just called yet again and was told by the RUDEST lady to call back in 30 mins because that system is down! I know mail disappears, but everything that was in the container with my package has been mailed out. Why has my package mysteriously Disappeared?? The service is absolutely horrid. I've been requesting a package re delivery since Friday. I was told the package would be redelivered by friday--it never came. Since then, i've called them everyday and have been told the package would make it to me the next business day. Today i gave the employee my tracking number and address and was put on hold for over half an hour. The package is still not here, and its Tuesday. This has happened to me before, and my package ended up being returned to sender, the package that I paid for! What a shame. read more

I do not recommend this location in Largo they are very rude they can't hold your mail for your business when you go on vacation. They're a bunch of lazy people. They want to stick everything in one mailbox instead of delivering the mail appropriately by going to the individual Suites inside. read more

Horrible! They really need to an overhaul of this branch replacing the staff and carriers with more friendly and helpful staff. The lines are ridiculous, terrible customer service. Horrible customer service. They were in a rush and did not make me feel welcome. I felt like I was at the MVA. If you've ever been there, then you know how bad that is. The agent did not take the time to understand my question. She immediately made me go back to my car to get my ID when the resolution did not require an ID. She wanted to know the address of the package and assumed it was the address on my ID. She actually could not assist me with my question. I was told I had to drive out to the laurel location to track my package. I work in customer service as well. A good customer service rep would have just called the other location to ask about my package. If I knew I would have to drive out to the other postal service to run down the package, I would have just delivered it myself. read more

Today was my first encounter with this particular post office and I am really hopeful that we do not have to return. To be fair, my husband and I were treated kindly and our transaction was handled quickly and efficiently. Nonetheless, we did see how some of postal workers treated disgruntled customers and it was ridiculous. We saw a woman get a window closed in her face (she was complaining about mail that had not been delivered and said she had been given the run around on her visit the day before). We saw another manager get an attitude with a customer who had been waiting patiently in line to pick up a package. This lady had been standing in the front of the line, then when another line opened, a bunch of people went over to that line, essentially jumping ahead of her. The woman maintained her place, and when a kind postal worker offered to help retrieve her package, the manager scolded the employee telling her that it was not her job to retrieve packages and that the young woman would have to wait in the new line (putting her at the end of the line, when she had started out in the front). Clearly, the people who jumped out of line and moved ahead of her were wrong, but it the insult was worsened by the manager's demand that the young lady move to another line. She was unwilling to hear the young woman's complaints and instead got indignant with her. This was first thing in the morning. Not all the postal workers were rude. In fact, some were very pleasant and patient with the customers who were angry. However, the guy that shut the window in the woman's face and the manager that I mentioned...if anything, they escalated the situations, making the customers even more frustrated and angry. read more
