It was super busy but the employees had everything under control. There were several customers for whom English was a second language who sometimes struggled to communicate. There was a woman with a rambunctious child there for services. The staff helped each of us with the same friendliness and respect. I very much appreciated the kindness and patience exhibited toward marginalized community members from a government facility. A woman named Becky, I believe, waited on me. She was efficient and informative. I didn't expect to be able to actually get my picture for my passport card taken an application submitted today, but once she realized I had brought proper documentation, Becky let me know I had time to fill out the papers and get it done before the 3pm cut off time. The process was quick and very organized. It was all women working as far as I could see and these ladies had it together! They had positive attitudes with all of the customers and with one another. They gave the impression that they enjoyed their jobs. I will definitely go back to this location when I need USPS services again.

Inside, may feel a bit dated in certain spots, but their are gift cards, greeting cards, and plenty of packaging options to choose from. Plus, a passport sation for our convenience. After 4 OCT we tracked down ABF on 07 OCT and it was delivered the following day. We received a letter on 10 OCT (written on 06 OCT) that stated on 07 OCT we'll incur a $60 a day storage fee (with a minimum of $185.00). Note this is the day following when the letter was written, with no forewarning and it was an actual USPS letter that arrived 3 days later. ABF did not receive our phone number from the seller when they accepted the shipment. We weren't overly concerned about the 10 day delay in shipping which was clearly ABF's fault, but rather the contents of the letter stating it was our fault and the ridiculous timeline for notification of penalty charges. The delivery guy was a solid though and although the mattress box was filthy and torn in the middle, it was fine because the seller triple packed it.

Believe it or not, the website instructed that I should print and fill out a "form requisition" (which was online) and mail it in to get the other form. When I read that I had to look over my shoulder for a hidden camera. Since the deadline was approaching, rather than trust the timeliness of both the USPS and the Kentucky Revenue Service, I marched down to this office to see if they could hand me my needed document. Did they have my form on hand? Of course not. How would the bureaucracy feed itself if they did that? But a very kind worker bee gave me a post-it note and told me if I wrote my name and address on the form, she would make sure it got sent quickly. Sure enough, my desired form (the correct one!) arrived in two days flat. Efficiency in the midst of chaos! A gleam of competence in a sea of WTF! The little stuff does matter.
