That was not the case during my recent visit. There was a line, but instead of one employee manning the front counter that can handle 4 attendants, they had 3 employees working, with 4th person doing clean up of the people that queued up. She asked customers certain questions to ascertain what they needed and speed up the process. She was a little gruff and to the point in her way of dealing with things, but she did have a soft spot of asking people how their day was going. With Covid, the line may seem long with social distancing, but I like the fact they understand people shouldn't be waiting in line for any longer than they need to be. When it was my turn, the guy was really nice (which I was already observing that with other customers) and got me done quickly. He seemed very experienced because he could anticipate what I needed to do from my initial approach to the counter to using the credit card system. Well done USPS. I think your manager and team needs to show other locations how to do it.

There can't be anything worse than this post office period. Extremely frustrating experience,…read moreespecially as a local business that relies on USPS for daily shipments. We regularly schedule pickups, but there have been multiple occasions where only a fraction of our packages are taken, forcing us to bring the rest to this location ourselves. Then, almost every time we drop off, there seems to be a new issue or requirement. During our most recent visit, the individual who identified herself as the manager, Vanessa Miller became extremely confrontational and grabbed a box out of my hands. We were also told our packages wouldn't be accepted without a manifest and that they could be sent to "dead mail." In previous interactions, we've even been threatened with having the police called and had our legitimate business shipments questioned as fraudulent even tho they were prepaid and we get pickups and drop offs everyday. We have no problem following USPS requirements, we just need consistent information and professional treatment. After repeated issues, I have now filed a formal complaint with USPS and requested escalation above this location's management. This has gone far beyond one bad experience and is actively interfering with our business.

Which is so contradicting hence the large a s s banner outside hanging saying passports appointments walk in's available here. Customer service is good, and friendly. I visited the Copperfield USPS Drop-Off Annex today, 9/17. unfortunately, the experience was…read moreextremely frustrating as usual. The wait time is consistently far too long, especially considering this location primarily handles drop-offs. The overall atmosphere is unpleasant, and most of the employees I encounter appear unhappy to be there. There is only one gentleman who is genuinely kind and helpful, and I appreciate his professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience with the other employees especially the females is very different. The attitude from the counter staff make it feel like assisting customers is a bother. People are also repeatedly referred to other USPS locations rather than being helped at this location. What is especially frustrating is simply asking for an (one) item I dropped off to be scanned. I was told by one of the employees that scanning items is done only as a "courtesy." I understand that a scan may be considered a courtesy, but when a customer is standing there with a package and is requesting confirmation that it was accepted, the dismissive attitude surrounding such a simple request is disappointing. If this location is going to offer drop-off services, customers should be able to expect basic courtesy, professionalism, and reasonable assistance. Instead, the experience makes you feel like you are inconveniencing the employees by being there. Hopefully USPS management takes the time to address the customer service issues at this location. The one gentleman who is kind and helpful showed that good customer service is possible.

They seem to always be having a bad day. I try to be positive and polite when conducting business with them but their defenses are up so high, they are always so dry and short with you. This last visit I needed help tracking a package that said they attempted delivery but it was a package I was shipping to someone in another state. I was trying to explain the mixup to the window lady and she was deaf to listening to anything but trying to tell me there wasn't a package here for me. I kept telling her "I know and there shouldn't be" because I shipped a parcel to someone. She was not trying to understand the problem. She put me to the side and started helping others. I walked inside to ask for a complaint for. I was writing a letter on her non helpful rude attitude. All I wanted was for her to listen to what I was saying so we could find a solution. I ended up speaking to the post office manager who was very nice and actually listened and shortly thereafter my problem was resolved with my tracking issue.

I was dropping off around 100 packages, and after I had already unloaded about half of them, a white female employee came up to me and aggressively questioned why I was there. I explained that other USPS locations were closed, but she insisted that other locations were open. I asked her, "If other locations were open, why would I drive 30 minutes to come here?" Instead of helping, she threatened me and said that if I didn't remove my packages immediately, she would throw them away as trash. She even called her supervisor to ask whether other USPS locations were open, and somehow the supervisor claimed they were. Honestly, I have no idea how someone with that level of incompetence becomes a supervisor. In the end, I was forced to take every single package back out one by one after already unloading them, completely wasting my time and effort. Now I have to wait until Monday to go back to my regular USPS location. The entire experience was extremely unprofessional, hostile, and disrespectful. Absolutely terrible customer service and one of the worst USPS experiences I've ever had.
