Absolutely the worst postal delivery service - 15 packages they have not delivered. Claims due to gate code but the gate remains open. Seems as if the delivery person is too lazy to place in the box deemed for packages or will not leave at my door like every other delivery driver. No one answers the phone. read more

Pkg held without request, when attempted to pickup the rep. Could not locate pkg. After looking for a while he return to advised pkg is out for delivery to another address and not available for pickup. I was advised that a supervisor would give me a call as soon as she returned from lunch. Needless to say, I'm still waiting on that call and haven't received pkg. read more

The USPS is, without a doubt, the most reprehensable and infuriating government agency that I've ever had the displeasure to deal with. We sent a package from GA to MA over a week ago. We paid extra for expidited delivery. It was supposed to be delivered 4 days ago. However, it's still not arrived at it's destination. I have a tracking number but (of course) it only tells me that, after 6 days, its yet to leave GA. I'd like: (1) to contact the USPS via email or phone to find out what the problem is. "SURPRISE" you CAN'T! The phone numbers just lead you through a series of annoying options (none of which leads you an actual human agent). The supposed email link just takes you back to a screen where you're asked to enter your tracking number (again) to get the same "it's not there" results that you've already seen. (2) I'm trying to understand how the USPS takes my money to perform a function in a specified period of time yet fails to meet that obligation without any consequences. Of course,, in the microscopic print, it tells you that they're not responsable if they fail to meet their obligations so, "too bad, so sad".... The only reason I gave them a "1" was because giving negitive numbers wasn't an option. read more

When I am in town and have to use the post office I head to Evans because it is nice to see a friendly face and the wait is not too long. People think it is easy working for the post office and these brave souls put on a good face for the customers day in and day out. Now before you say, I would go to Fed.., UP.. , Amaz..., DH.. did you know that those companies use the United States Post Office to deliver their parcels. Do not believe? We swing by here anytime we need to mail out a package. I recently came by and asked if I could take a priority box to decorate a care package for my friend who moved to Texas. The office worker was kind enough to let me, although the address labels were behind the counter and I foolishly kept looking around before finally giving up to ask them. Staff is always prompt but the friendliness is hit or miss depending on who is there. We've had no real issues, and don't mind the location. read more

Friendly and efficient service at this U.S. post office.... Due to COVID-19 and its variants, I wish face masks were mandatory and enforced inside to protect our U.S. Post Office essential workers and their customers based on science. Essential workers are every day precious heroes. Signs on the front doors state: - Face masks are required/recommended in the lobby of this US post office. - No more than ten customers should be in the lobby to respect physical distancing of 6 feet between patrons. Nevertheless, those rules are not enforced. There is sometimes a fast-moving long queue of more than ten people with or without face masks in the lobby waiting to be served during peak hours. I wish there were markings on the floor to facilitate physical distancing between customers. As a result, I have been choosing to: - drop off pre-paid packages in the drop box inside the lobby at off-peak hours. - deposit pre-paid letters in the outside mailbox in front of this U.S. post office. You can do the same and optimize your odds to survive this pandemic. The large parking is clean. read more

The worst! Reliability is 0. I have had multiple parcels being "returned to sender." Apparently there is a maximum number of parcels delivery quota. Only 1003 (?) parcels are allowed to be delivered to a particular area, per day. If your parcel happens to be #1004 you've got to retrieve it from the post office yourself. Even if you've paid for delivery to your home. I don't have a vehicle. I am unable to get to the post office unless I pay for a taxi or Uber. This is unethical, unfair and unacceptable. read more

Stupidest mail drop Post Office... comical, really. Just for fun, notice lack of ergonomics , Feng Shui, Flow, queuing... laughter will ensue!!! The Colkection Box requires multiple 3-point turns to make the drop... park and watch with hysterical laughter any time of day or night!!! read more

Package was marked delivery attempted no resident home at 5pm. This is unusual because I was home ALL DAY and the postman came at right around 12:30 with no package. I check the camera and sure enough no attempted delivery. The next day I drive my happy self to the post office, agitated after talking to the shipper for using USPS. The post master comes out and then promptly makes excuses about the truck from Atlanta being late and drivers leaving early. He then admits that he was the one that scanned the package "delivery attempted no resident" even though there was never an attempted delivery because it didn't leave the post office the day it should have been delivered. read more

This Post Office has great, fairly-quick, efficient service. The staff are very professional and helpful.

Had an incident happen with this post office regarding a package being returned to me (mailer) because the addressee provided information to USPS that they are not receiving mail at the address that they provided to me. The addressee told me that they never filed any info saying they moved, which could be correct. However, the post office doesn't just forward mail for the sake of forwarding mail, there could be other reasons for forwarding mail by the addressee, like not wanting to receive certain mail, etc. After a week of non-stop calling, I finally spoke to a supervisor at this location and updated me about why it was being returned to me. It was something the addressee did regarding their mailing address. So basically the addressee could have falsified information that they gave me (this is my opinion and NOT that of the supervisor). The Post Office did their part in delivering the package on time to the addressee. Now it's a waiting game to get the package returned. so I have to be patient with the return to sender process. I would have given a higher star rating but it took too many calls to finally get an answer. Also, they don't always answer the phone, it's like a game of chance of someone answering the phone then speaking to the right person. I don't live in GA, so it's not like I could just drive to this Post Office location. read more

Always hopping--holy cow! I kept thinking I would catch it at a slow time, but I never did. The folks that work here have all been really nice and super-helpful (borderline condescending), but genuinely helpful. It is just the line-waiters who seem super-rushed and harried, and cast oh-my-God why are you taking so long looks. Argh. I choose the Martinez post office. So much less busy, so much friendlier. :) read more
